Jeff and Bri are awesome. They will guide you through the process of how using the storage works. You can actually do most of it online too. The facilities look clean and everything seems secure.

Customer service is spectacular and the units are clean. Plus the storage prices are reasonable. I highly recommend anyone to store their personal items here.

It’s extremely clean and well managed, Mr.Jeff is extremely polite, courteous and customer oriented and dealing with him is a great pleasure. Bria was able to help me right away! i had told her I had some difficulty walking, and she directed me back to the space I would be renting before I even got out of the car! Craig was SO kind and helpful and got us set up with a drive up storage unit that made the unloading of our moving truck so easy! He even allowed us to drop off our Penske rental truck on site once it was unloaded and took the lead on contacting them. The storage unit is clean and secure and exactly what we were looking for! We are from out of state and had to move our daughter off campus quickly in March. Like most people we were scrambling to find a quick solution for her belongings. Compass storage came to the rescue. We were able to get a large enough storage unit that was clean and ready to go. The staff is amazing and friendly. Knowing we were in a bind and out of state they were able to make this situation bearable. When it was time to empty the unit they were just as wonderful. We will be calling compass if we need them in the future.

If I could leave less then zero Stars then I would. The sign stated that it was one person at a time but how would you know if someone was there if you didn’t open the door to see. I stepped in and was rushed with attitude and asked if I saw the sign and was i there for a Amazon package and I wasn’t I was coming to see about renting a storage unit. But with the attitude she gave me I didn’t feel comfortable so I went elsewhere. You lost a customer due to bad customer service from your workers.

This was the second year that we used this Compass Storage location to store my daughters belongs for summer storage until back to college in the fall. My experience with Craig Wilson has been nothing but exceptional. He provided the best customer service to me and made our experience the best! His coworker Maurel did and excellent job as well both last year and this year too! The storage place is very clean and they are always around to help answer any questions that we may have had. I will continue to go back to this location. I highly recommend this location to anyone looking for superb customer service and great location.

Enough is enough! We just got ANOTHER PRICE HIKE notice which now raised the unit price approximately 33% ($119-$164) in 1 3/4 years. In addition, they never answer the phone - I mean never. You have to leave a message and they call you back the next day.I complained to the manager Amy about the missing gutter over my unit 404. She told me that the gutter had been removed over my unit due to a previous problem but told me all was now good. I had to contact her again to express the fact that I still had a huge waterfall over my unit and I got soaked from rain and melting snow. This time Amy told me it would be professionally checked out and when I called to verify it was checked out, she told me it was and they found nothing (Bologna! Id like to see that work order). Soon after there was a leak in my unit which resulted in damaged property. Because of this, and a lot of expesssing my frustration of damaged family photos, etc., I was moved from a 10X10 to a 10x15 at no additional cost. I didnt need it, but I took it for the bit of extra elbow room. Due to the enormous price hikes, bad customer service and damaged property, I started moving out yesterday and this will be my last month. UPDATE 4/26 Took longer than expected to move, but one more trip to get the last out of storage and Im gone from this money pit! Still cant believe they raised the price so much in so little time. UPDATE......WE ARE GONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have rented one or more storage units for my business at this location for almost three years. While the staff are great and the facility is good (and getting better), I just experienced an almost $55 late fee for a payment that was past due but I had received no notification until the payment was already late. There was an issue with my Autopay that was not brought to my attention.I have spent thousands of dollars per year at this facility (with multiple rate increases over that time) so when I contacted the district manager, I expected that there would be a refund or credit to my account since I made the payment as soon as I realized it was late (one day after). Unfortunately, the manager did not respond to my request and told his staff that there would be no fee waiver. As a long-term customer/tenant, this is not the kind of service and support I expect from the management team at Compass. There are other storage companies out there!

Craig Wilson is a wonderful manager but my experience was less than satisfactory. My unti had mice droppings everywhere. I lost 2 bags of my childrens clothes due to mold and mice. My unit had a leak. The move chewed thru a night stand drawer and one of my dresser drawers. I actually saw the mice when I picked up a drawer and the mouse jumped out at my feet. The price is too high and the late fee is outrageous. I have used them in the past but will not return. The insurance claims process is long and tedious. I still am receiving paperwork to fill out I stead of money for my messed up stuff.

This Penske is wonderful. Craig helped us out tremendously with the truck, recommendation on someone helping us move the items into our car, and more. Come here! You won’t be disappointed.

This is the perfect solution for our small nonprofit. The staff are kind and professional, the facility clean and secure. We LOVE that you can drive into the secure/covered loading area and stay parked while working in the unit.

Terrible service. We came from out of state to move a family member and reserved a truck. The manager Craig was not only late opening up the store so waited an hour for him to then come and tell is he didnt have the truck and that we had to go to another location to get a truck Terrible Service!!!!

First visit to the facility on Jan 9, 2016. Loved the layout, the cleanliness (it smelled as fresh as one of those Auto scent fresheners), but the most delightful experience was meeting & conducting business with the Customer service employee on staff - T Sloan-Parks. Friendly, outgoing, well-informative - I felt as though I had known her for years, although we had just met! She took me on a tour of the facility, & I lucked up by securing a prime choice storage unit,- right near the entrance- thanks to her professional approach. I will certainly recommend this location to as many people as I can, esp. those looking for a clean & reasonably priced storage facility in the future! My co-worker has already inquired about needing to find a reputable storage facility - I know JUST where to send him!

I think this place is expensive. The assistant manager claims to be the Manager and he is a difficult person to deal with. He is condesending in his dealing with people. He repeats himself as though the customer is stupid. There is no place to put trash here. My storage unit was not totally clean but what the hay. The Manager is fantastic! He is there every day but Friday and Sunday. Avoid going on his day off. They also have climate control units and sell packing materials (expensive, U-Haul is cheaper) plus they rent Penske trucks.

Were in the process of selling our house and eventually moving, and we have both short and long-term storage needs. This Compass location is less than a mile from our house, and has affordable climate-controlled storage. The friendly staff was able to accommodate both our storage space and budget needs. We especially liked the drive-through indoor loading and unloading, the security, and the price. The staff members were all terrific!

I signed up for this facility with Tiffany and loved her customer service. I decided to rent a smaller unit and was greeted by the most pleasant and helpful individual named Melissa who helped me find the space that was perfect for me. The only thing preventing me from giving this facility a 5 star review is Amy. My encounter with her was nothing like the reviews below. She was very rude and unprofessional and I never received an apology for her abstract behavior or disregard for my patronage as a customer. Everyone is entitled to a bad day, but if you want to pride yourself on being a manager, behave like one at ALL times even on your busiest days. I would recommend the facility to anyone because the actual facility is not the issue, but I believe customer service is key when obtaining a positive overview of this business as a whole.

I had a wonderful experience renting a storage unit at the Chagrin Blvd location. Not only was my items secure, safe and in a clean environment but it was a convenient location. Tierra B and Amy provided exceptional customer service. I would definitely come back to this location.

Ive had a unit here for several years. Service is personal and high quality, facility is clean and well-maintained. I wish I didnt have to rent a storage unit, but since I do Im glad these folks are there!

Prices are average, staff is polite, inside units appear clean, moving equipment available. However there isn’t a reminder about monthly payment until it’s already late and late fee is added on.
