Nice place off to the side so its not crazy traffic. People were nice, honest, straight forward about what they have and can do. Test drove a vehicle, was a good experience. They offered my kid a popsicle which is more than they had to do.
Not good one bit! listing of the car has car fax no accidents, the right front fender appears to be dented and the wheel rubs on the inner area of the wheel well. the right side has orange peel from being repainted. We had the car for less than 3 days and the engine dies at stop signs etc. explained to the dealer, brought it back for them to look at it,replaced the trottle body.still dies.have the car for less than 1 week, asked to return it as its unsafe - for sure a 20 yr old girl that needs dependable transportation to college in Iowa. not willing to refund are money or work anything out!! terible bussiness and terible service.
The guy that works here is super nice and super honest. Top notch.
I had a great experience buying an 11 outback. I worked with Brandon who worked as a Subaru mechanic for many years and they did a lot of work before they sold the car to me. The backup camera didn’t work and he had ordered the new part and invited me to come back so they could install it even after I bought it at no cost. Easy and straight forward to deal with.
Great vehicles, and great service. Brandon was up front and to the point, not a typical pushy salesmen. After car shopping for 2 weeks I am glad I purchased here. Thank you quinn motors.
Working with Brandon to buy a car was amazing! He was friendly, honest, and easy to talk to. What was super impressive is how well he takes care of the cars he sells. He inspects them all personally, and will go so far as to even replace a whole engine to make sure the car is in quality shape! Fair pricing too! I highly recommend Quinn Motors!
There are few things I dislike more than buying a car - especially a used car. However, Brandon at Quinn Motors has changed my outlook on that. He is honest, up-front, easy to talk with, no judgment and works with integrity. My wife and I bought a 2011 Forester from him. It was VERY competitively priced. I knew everything that was replaced on the vehicle because all the boxes of the belts & brakes were left in the cargo area of the car! What you are NOT paying for at Quinn: shiny dealer showroom, luxurious waiting room, high pressure sales and financing, hidden vehicle problems. It is not a pretty place. But they make pretty wonderful deals and put quality used cars into the hands of people who need them. We will be back in a couple of years for our sons first car. I highly recommend Brandon at Quinn Motors!
Great place to buy a car. After almost being scammed at another dealer right down the road, Brandon and his crew sold me a great car. The do a whole inspection and fix things that other dealers dont. Most places just shine the cars up to sell them, Quinn makes sure its going to be a good vehicle. Thank you Quinn Motors
I purchased a 2004 Subaru Forrester about a month ago from this dealer and love it! The dealer Brandon seemed very genuine and was able to answer all of my questions. The car was nice and clean, for a very reasonable price, and the work they do to make sure you will have this car for the long haul really shows that they care about their customers. I plan to recommend them to anyone looking for a car. Thanks again Brandon!
Went to check out a jeep that was over priced, the vehicle was in bad condition for the price and the dealership looks like a junk yard off of the interstate.
If I could leave negative stars I would. I would never send anyone here.
I purchased a 2008 Mazda 3 and have been really happy so far with my purchase. They were honest and upfront about the car and the repairs done to it ($2,000.00). I did my research on many vehicles and settled on the Mazda 3 for reliability and ease of maintenance. I had to put new tires on, replace rear shocks and replace some suspension parts. However, this should be expected, as these are routine maintenance items for a car that is 10 years old. I put in $550.00 dollars and did the repairs myself and now my car drives like new.To all the people slamming Quinn Motors. First, do your homework and learn about the problems associated with the car you are considering buying. Second, you are not going to get brand new performance from an 18 year old car or a car under $4,000.00. If you want new performance, then buy new. No one can guarantee a part on the car will not fail. Also, if you do not know about cars, have it inspected by an independent shop.Thank you Quinn Motors for a hassle free and pleasant experience.
It seemed like most of the cars were wrecks in one way or another
Great Dealership. Super professional, friendly and helpful staff and very competitive prices. I would recommend anyone to buy a car there!
We love our subaru we purchased here! A leak in the newly replaced windshield happened about a week after buying the vehicle and they were able to get it fixed under warranty in a timely manner!
Quinn made things right. Thank you
Update: After only 3.5 months this car is already having to be totalled due to it needing far more work than what the car is worth. Currently not running and was told it needs a new engine, all the spark plugs need to be replaced (even though I was told that they were replaced when I bought the car) and thats after $450 worth of work was already done to it. Will NEVER EVER do business with these crooks again.Bought a car from them 5 weeks ago and have had nothing but issues since. Paid them $2500 for a money pit. Have had to replace the power steering pump and line, have to put in a new alternator now. 2 of the tires keep going flat after about two weeks of putting air back in them despite them saying that they put new tires on the car so shouldnt be having this issue so soon then. Was missing gas cap.. which is cheap I know but its just the concept.. do you seriously not look over the cars so your customers arent having to put money into it the second they drive it off your lot? Also took them til the very last day to mail me out my tabs. Will never do business nor recommend these guys to anyone! What a joke.
We purchased a used Suburu on behalf of our college student and worked with Brandon Plekkenpol. Brandon knows his used cars--especially Suburus, having been a certified Suburu mechanic. He buys cars with clean (not rebuilt) titles and knows what the demand is for in the under 10k market (mostly). All replacement parts are in the car so you can see what was done. Our used car from Quinn passed an independent and thorough AAA inspection at an independent mechanic, with the exception of the backup lights. Our mechanic could not figure it out and when I called Brandon, he had us bring it in and they took care of the issue quickly and without a charge--despite us having bought the car as is (per usual for a used car). He took the time to explain things and made the entire process easy and non stressful. The first used car that we have not had buyers remorse! We highly recommend and will be back.
Great interaction with these guys. Happy with the car I bought and when an unforeseeable problem arose shortly after buying, they were able to help me out and worked with me to get it fixed back up. Very pleased with the car and their interaction.
Very clean and reliable used vehicle. Very happy with our purchase. Thank you Brandon for making it a pleasurable experience, worth the drive.
Bought a jetta! Great owner hes a really nice guy! Good service good people! I would recommend buying from this auto dealer!
I was determined to avoid car dealerships and spent two weeks on Craigslist looking at private party sales only. When I finally broke down and considered dealerships as well, I made sure to check online reviews before visiting any lots. I found a car advertised at Quinn Motors that I thought was too good to be true: reasonably priced with the mileage and age I was hoping for. The reviews convinced me to give Quinn Motors a try, and Im happy I did. Im two months in, my mechanic says its a great car, and I actually had a good experience at a dealership. Check Quinn Motors out; Brandons wonderful, and they have a great selection.
We got exactly what we were looking for . Everything I was going to ask about was just replaced/fixed . Very honest and knowledgeable .we did have one small issue as we drove away and he ordered and shiped the part right to our house and offered to pay to have it installed . I am 100% happy with our new/used car . I will more then Likely return for our next vehicle in the future
Quality independent dealership. They do it the right way. Best measuring stick on any vehicle purchase is the question would I go here for a reasonably priced vehicle that I feel is SAFE for my kids to drive? Answer: yes.
My boyfriend bought a car here, first place with a good deal who wasnt trying to scam us! Very nice owner and great customer service
GREAT SERVICE!!.. help full and friendly! The staff is strait forward and honest ( which is rare now a days.) Will recommend to friends and family! Great experience!
I had a wonderful experience here. Brandon was helpful and he wasn’t pushy and educated me on what to look for. I came back after looking at other vehicles and very happy with my purchase.
We bought a used Trailblazer. Very happy with the experience buying, 4 days later we had some issues with the car. We got it checked out at a shop and after finding out we needed new ball joints and water pump we called to see if there was anything they could do. They were so helpful and fixed everything with the vehicle! They went above and beyond! A great family friendly place to buy a vehicle from!
Great Family owned dealership. I purchased my vehicle there, drove it over 200k and had them change my serpentine belt. 7k miles later everything is still running great! You never know what youll get when buying a used car but these guys wont steer you wrong. Highly recommend.
Particularly knowledgeable about Subarus! We had friendly, fast service and would recommend this for folks seeking a decent used vehicle for less than $10,000! Financing is available onsite.
There is no way Id ever buy a car from any other dealer. The people here are fair, honest, and friendly. A year after buying my car it still works great and they were very upfront about any problems they anticipated it having. I took it in today to get it looked at before a long trip (just a formality since it wasnt acting up at all) and they checked it and tuned it up for free. I love Quinn Motors.
Quinn Motors was awesome with my car purchase. Car has been outstanding and their service was outstanding. I had a lot of questions and they answered every one of them. Read their reviews before I came in, decided to leave my own review. Something I havent done before but it was the reason I bought a car from Quinn Motors. Thank you Brandon and staff.
Bought a car 6 months ago, promised sales guy Id write a review. Quinn Motors sells a quality product, they take time with their customers, and Brandon did not put any pressure on me at all. I said I had to go look at another lot, he said see you in a little bit, he was right! My daughter is almost ready to get a car and I will be back. Thanks Quinn.
I had a great experience when I purchased my vehicle here, over a year ago. The staff was very friendly and I feel like I got a great car for a great price. The whole process was quick and painless. I recommend people here whenever I hear someone talking about needing a new vehicle.
I bought an Audi A6 from Quinn Motors. The car was an excellent value - and they helped me feel very confident with my purchase and subsequent maintenance. I would recommend Quinn Motors without hesitation to anyone looking for a new (to them) car. They are a family-owned small business...and it made me very happy to support them. Ethical, professional, invested, and knowledgable. GREAT EXPERIENCE.
I didnt end up going with a vehicle I looked at here but it was a close runner up. The dealer seemed no frills, but honest and straight-forward about the condition of his vehicles and knowledgeable about what was on his lot. Pricing seemed fair too.
I purchased a 200 BMW from Quinn motors. They took care of all of the concerns I had quickly before taking delivery. There was some touch up that needed to be done and they went above and beyond and painted some additional pieces that needed it. After I took the car home I noticed the jack was missing and they got me one on the same day. Very positive experience from purchasing to delivery.
Older inventory of vehicles. Very rushed to make a decision. I dont really think the people who own this place or work here, listen to their customers. They tell you how it is and really dont care about your thoughts or feedback. I was not impressed.
I bought a 2006 Subaru Impreza WRX from Quinn motors. The staff was friendly and helpful and Ive had a good experience with the car for 11 months now. I would recommend buying a car from here.
Great place to buy a used car that is in great shape.
Bought a car from here, runs amazing, great customer service! I am very pleased with how smoothly everything went and would go back to buy another! Thank you
Honestly such a good and genuine dealership. We worked with Mike who is a great guy, and really did his best to help us out! Worked around our needs and helped us out tremendously!! Great people and service!!! Definitely would recommend!!!
I bought a car from this place a while back and love it still going good! Highly recommend I will be back the next time I need a car!
Bought my 1995 Land Rover Discovery for a great price from here. I will bring my family and friends here. I would recommend this place to anyone. I will be back to buy another vehicle.
Purchased a BMW 528i Touring from Quinn and had a great experience! The car came with all the service records which I would assume would be lost along the way. They answered all my questions via e-mail before purchasing the car. I felt I bought the car at a great value. Thanks Linn!
I bought a Saturn SL2 from Quinn in November. I have absolutely nothing negative to say about them. They were courteous, helpful, answered all my questions and I had a great experience. I will definitely buy from them again.I have also taken my other cars to Quinn for repairs and have found their rates to be very fair and the work is excellent.
Great experience! Had great service, tons of care, and my car is amazing! I highly suggest this use car dealer! They treat customers like family. Thanks Quinn Motors!
I just purchased a car for my son. Like any consumer, we brought the car to our mechanic to have it checked out and he approved the vehicle but suggested an alighnment. Quinn Motors did all of the work and went out of their way to make sure we got a great vehicle for my son. I am very grateful and happy thus far with the car and the service!
Bought a Audi A6 there in July 2017. Brandon was honest and stuck behind his car, and warranty. And is always there to answer any question I have had. Great dealership. I will be back again for my wives next car in the future. Theres no need to go to a big dealership. when you have customer service like they do, along with the prices. One stop shop.
Very dissatisfied with the quality of vehicle I bought. Bought a 2012 WRX at 8months pregnant for my new family. Was guaranteed a 30 day warranty. Two days later check engine light came on for multiple misfires. They agreed to look at it but I would have to drive it there. This continued on and off for 5 months. At one point I was given a dirty vehicle with trash in the passenger seat and quarter tank of gas to make it back to Wisconsin at that time 9 months pregnant. Then there was space because well I had the baby. So fast forward to when they attempted to fix it again, it lasted two weeks. I was guaranteed the issue would be resolved since it happened in thirty days. Then since it was good over two weeks they decided they would not resolve it anymore. Now my vehicle is not drivable because something happened with the oil pump and possibly rods so looking at a new motor. Plus Subaru dealership said I needed a new clutch which was supposedly just replaced 10k ago along with multiple of things thus the reason I bought the vehicle. Looking into lemon law lawyer now. Good luck if you buy from here.
They are very rude i was looking for a vehicle. Found out they were asking $2000 over the value of the car. He then proceeded to tell me its competitive price and that multiple people are looking at it and hung up. Dont bother going there overpriced cars and unprofessional staff!
This is a smaller privately owned a lot where they have many different cars available only been there once but I got greeted by the owner very nice young lady and the guy that kind of runs the place he was very awesome straight answers seem to be honest and upfront and you get what you get and I appreciated that
Great place! I love my truck I’ll be going here again for sure!
One of the few honest places to get your car worked on or find a quality used car. Specializing in subies
After shopping around for weeks I stumbled into Quinn Motors. I was greeted and told the guy I was just looking. He let me browse for a bit, and checked back in. I had some questions about 3 different vehicles, he answered every single question instantly. Completely honest and knew his stuff. After a test drive my brother had a couple technical questions about the timing belt and this guy answered those too. They did all the mechanical work to the car previous to it going for sale. We felt complete satisfied after being lied to for weeks, we purchased the car right then and there. I forgot the young mans name (tall with beard), however thank you Quinn Motors.
Despicable and unethical! Selling a car not safe to drive and than offering less than half when trying to return. Shamefull business practices
I bought a Subaru from Quinn motors its a awesome place to buy used cars they inspect all there cars, very friendly and trustworthy people. Highly recommend if anyone is looking for a car.
Bought a great car. Whenever something is wrong or something is concerning me, they wont argue. Theyll look at it and see whats wrong with it. Highly recommend this dealer!
Not the place to go if you have no credit or low credit... won’t even accept 1/3rd of the price for down a payment. Save yourself the dive
I bought a 2000 montero in February 2015 and it is still running strong..great service all around..thanks guys!!! I have also purchased a Ford ranger in February 2015 and both these vehicles are running strong. Just purchased a chrysler 300 and super happy with the car and service I received. I will most definitely be back if I need another vehicle and most definitely let other people I know that Quinn Motors is a great place to get a vehicle. Thanks again!!!
Just wanted to say Ive decided not to buy an Element from Quinn Motors based on the poor treatment received by some, but more than anything the threatening from the mechanic & looking for a fight comment. No way to run a professional business-and the review wasnt disputed like others on this page. Thank you.
Great experience, Brandon was super helpful and helped us find something in our price range.
Very nice vehicles at a reasonable price. Nice people to talk with and work with
One of the best places to buy a car at very friendly owner very flexible.
Brandon was great to deal with. They sell used cars ok? Sometimes they work out sometimes not. They are not magicians. They do lessen your chances of buying crap. They do all the forseen repairs before it goes on the lot. If they miss something they make it right. I was given several options and they were fine with me taking it elsewhere to have it check out before I bought it.
We bought a used Acura a while back from Quinn Motors and it was a very positive experience. The Acura has been a great purchase! We really appreciated the owners help with selecting the car; he was very patient with our indecisiveness. They also were very generous on the trade-in; he and his wife came out to our house to haul one of our cars away, which was a great help. Very honest, knowledgeable and fair prices. If you like to support small businesses, this is a good one to give your business. We are keeping our eyes on their inventory for our next used car.
Great staff to work with bought an 07 Bmw x5 back in Oct 2016 and couldnt be happier. Brandon was awesome for us, he went above and beyond and continues to whenever called upon
Brandon and the staff were great. Quality car and phenomenal price and service.
Please feel free to put this in your testimonial page. Most people are somewhat skeptical about buying used cars, as I was. After buying my 03 Subaru forester we had a couple of problem with the enging burning oil. They were more than fair in working with me on making the necessary repairs. I want to thank the people at the shop and a special thank you to Brandon in taking care of me. Some times used cars are a gamble, as this one was, I would highly recommend Quinn motors in standing behind their products. Thank you Rex
We bought a Vehicle from these crooks. Said they went through everything and repaired some of the worn items. Even gave us a sheet with everything they replaced. LIES. Truck was knocking before the first oil change-not even 3 weeks after we bought it. Now they say you bought it AS IS NO WARRANTY . I would not recommend anyone to buy a vehicle from these crooks. Typical used car dealers. Not fair people. They are real friendly upfront-til after the sale and they have their money. We tried to get them to at least help with the repairs- they left us hanging.
I had a great experience at Quinn Motors. Brandon was a fantastic person to work with; he was prompt, and always very polite. Not only was the service I received fantastic, I simply could not find a better deal anywhere for the Hyundai Elantra I purchased. The car was practically brand new, and the price was the lowest I could find on Car Gurus. In fact, the Elantra dealership in Bloomington had the same year and model for 1000$ more with 10k more miles on it. Not only that, but the car fax on their Elantra pulled up some minor accidents. Brandon provided the carfax as well and the vehicle was literally spotless. Would absolutely recommend as Brandon was very honest and kind.
Very helpful! Willing to help us out even in the bitter cold.
Great personal service,. Good prices for used cars,. Seem to specialize in foreign cars such as Subaru, VW, .They also offer service on cars they sell.
Did an amazing job on my car for a very reasonable price! And even though I came here for my car the personal skills were just fine :-)
Kindness and readiness to help to your economic budget.
I have bought 2 cars from Quinn Motors .. We are more than pleased with the vehicles and Everything about Quinn Motors .. .. They stand behind their cars and work. They offer a 30 Day Bumper to Bumper Warranty ..Linn and Wade run a Tip Top Straight Up business .. They sell good quality, fair priced used cars. They truly care about their customers.. and It shows with their sincerity... If you need a car ? The 1st place you should check is Quinn Motors Shakopee. I will never buy another used car from anyone other than ...Linn and Wade @Quinn Motors..Just a lil FYI .... There are 2 car places on that frontage road.. and it appears its all 1 car lot ... It is not ......The 1st 1 has a building and is fenced . They are not Quinn Motors .. Make sure you go to the end of the road .. House, and Sign says Quinn Motors .The cars in the 1st lot ... Were wrecked cars and they fix them in the back and put them on the lot ... Exactly ...What you dont want when buying a used car ..
I couldnt have been happier with my experience at quinn motors. I showed up to look at a subaru wagon. Unfortunately it was sold over the weekend. They pointed out a few other cars in my price range. I picked 2 out test drove 1. Loved it an awd ford freestyle. Massive amounts of room in it. I will definitely be going back next time I am in the market for another car.
Make sure that you run a CARFAX report on any and all vehicles you plan to purchase from here. DO NOT RELY on the Autocheck that they do. I bought a car that supposedly had a clear title only to find out later that it was a previous totaled vehicle from an accident in different state. It was fixed and shipped to MN to get a clear title. Common scam. I lost 4400.00 on trade in. I called Quinn motors and they said Sorry, not our problem! take the time to run CARFAX only.
Great service and excellent selection, cant wait to buy another car from Brandon... Thanks bud!
Dont buy a car here unless you are willing to get screwed.I was really happy with the car for 4 and a half days. I also put in 5 and a half quarts of oil. Told me it went well down the road. It did, until it stopped on an overpass because it was too low on oil. They wont even discuss repairs or trading it in or anything.Did they know about the problem? Yes. They had a report that I looked at that indicated they did an oil change on it when it came in and replaced a gasket.I totally admit I made a mistake. I did not look under the car because it was raining and snowing during my inspection. If I had, I would have seen the half an inch of oil build up on the bottom of the car.I swear that this is true. I also aver that I spent my last $1400 on this car. In fact, I borrowed it and have to work an extra ten hours a week at one of my three jobs to pay for it, which means Im at 12 hours a day of work. However, since this is my familys only transportation, I am screwed. Theres not even a bus line in Elko, MN.Mike and Quinns Motors have an opportunity to do the right thing, but they stand by their as is line. If Quinns decide to discuss options and help me out, I will revise this posting.Ok, the car was a crappy car. The person who responded was also NOT at the transaction, so you dont know what Mike may or may not have said. You dont even want my business bad enough to take it back and try to sell me something better?By the way, my friends with high milage or older cars that will soon need replacements include: Renie, Nicole (she was looking at BMWs the day we were car shopping), Lydia, Steve, Ed, Leah, Ray, Kimberly, Gordy, Jaci, Mitch, Maria, Mac, Janine.... oh yeah, and all those people at my church that donated to the deacons fund to give me a couple gas cards because they were excited about the car I got from Quinns Motors. Great impression you are leaving with these people.
Great service, good prices, and reasonable trade-in value! I would recommend them!
Have had good luck there good customer service there
Stay Away there are so many other places to get a nice car!!!
Quinns had a Saab we liked. They decided to come down to the price we offered. Also offered us a bumper to bumper warranty for 30 days. Something was tight in the steering. Told it was new PS flush and would take a few days to work out. Got it home. Killed everytime we were in 1st gear turning left. Tranction control stopped working and another front end issue with steering, I forget. Also cruise stopped working and alarm wasnt working. Took it back to them and they had it for a week. Not just a little PS flush. Rack and pinion was shot. Replaced and fixed all the steering issues. Still no cruise. Alarm fixed but doesnt sound when set. We were told that cruise was fixed. Took it home and it didnt work. Texted the wife and she said that we must not know how to set the cruise and thats what we need to do is work on learning to set it before we bring the car back again. I reminded her of the warranty and she denied the bumper to bumper warranty but said after a disagreement that we could bring it in during work hours. Next week we bring it in and I am met by their mechanic. He tells me to get in and we go for a ride. So he takes it up the road and sets it, looks at me and throws up his hands, sets it again and again. I say, I know its weird but it doesnt turn on for us. He said, I hate to say it but, operator error?! I said that is ridiculous. It has an intermittant problem. Sometimes it turns on and sometimes it doesnt. He proceeded to tell me that he and the owners all drove it and the cruise worked for them but not for me. I told him that I wouldnt drive 45 minutes to make up a fictitious car problem. My husband does ALL our mechanic work and has fixed this issue before in other cars. He brought up the operator error again and I told him that was ridiculous. I told him that hes a mechanic shouldnt he know how to troubleshoot the problem. He said he cant troubleshoot a problem that doesnt exist. I said, couldnt it be a brake switch or electrical problem? He looked surprised I knew anything. Got back and my husband complained to the owner about him. She said shes his boss and she would make him fix it because he had made it clear he wasnt fixing it. Went back the next night and the mechanic was sitting out front of the office smoking and seemingly waiting for us. My husband went to get the keys and the mechanic went off on him about why the problem is in the clutch switch but they replaced the brake switch not the clutch switch (we had brought the brake thing up hoping to give them ideas the day before). The owner came out with the key and my husband turned on his heel and walked away from them because they were both being threatening and the mechanic was looking for a fight. All because they sold us a car with a warranty that had broken parts that they did not want to fix because they came down to far on the price for their budget. We were reminded of how much they took off the selling price in a text message. We were told this car hadnt been in an accident and also given some kind of a report like others weve read but after getting it home we could plainly see in different light that there had been body work done and paint replaced on the right side of the car. The car is still nice and we like it but after the bouncer tried to scare us off and we had to assertively pressure these people to stand behind their supposed warranty and we were guilted about their decision to come down on the car price we would not shop here again. Too much hassle. Very poor people skills especially from the mechanic. Watch out for him. Hes not leashed. Oh, and by the way...on the way home last night again the cruise didnt work. My husband held the clutch peddle up and then switched the cruis and it went on. Weird. The mechanic knew what the problem was and purposely fixed something else. We will be fixing our problem now and not going back to Quinns.
Just great all around
Great service in themselves and the car
Overpriced
