Such a great store--I used to build systems back in the 80-90s and am happy to see build your own pcers are still around. The store is clean, organized, and the staff working is top-class in terms of friendliness and knowledge. I came in to pick up a gaming keyboard and a few other items from an online order. The keyboard is very nice for light to mid gamers, and the hdmi to dvi converter cord is well-built. The power plug appears to be of similar quality. All items are Micro Center branded so they come with a longer warranty I believe. Thanks for a great experience and see you soon.

For a place I thought would have reasonable prices and big selections. I found the opposite. Found comparable item on Amazon for a third the price. Service was good, but not worth price for what I was planning on buying today.

Very clean, organized store...off the beaten path, meaning the entrance is around back, but thts no problem...the staff was very courteous and not hounding you...it was an nice relaxing environment w no pressure to buy😊

Micro center is my first go to place for finding the best deals on anything computer or electronic related. They have pretty much anything and everything here with some of the best prices found. I have bought several laptops, tvs and accessories from them over the years. Would highly recommend!

I purchased a few items that I needed from the store, only to return home to find that one of the items that I purchased was not in the box (the box was empty). I purchased two of the same items, so I know that the item was supposed to be in the box. I contacted the customer support live chat. While the representative was very helpful, there was not much they could do for me and my situation. The representative told me that a store manager should be contacting me within 24-48 hours, but never did. I live over an hour away and the item was not super expensive, but the whole situation is overall disappointing.

One of the few great electronic stores left in America. I purchased a custom built computer here with warranty and had a part fail a few months in. They honored the warranty and made quick work of getting it replaced, and it even came back up cheaper so I got some money back as they worked with me!

I have been coming to Micro Center since I was a little kid, around 2001. This place is truly one of a kind. This is the only one stop shop for people looking to buy computer, or computer-like equipment, in the greater Cincinnati area. I still have fond memories of walking around the store with my dad when I was a kid. I last visited about 3 weeks ago and found the store in a similar shape that I remember it being it when I was younger. Oh, the memories!If you are someone who is looking for a local alternative to those big box retailers(Best Buy, new-egg, tiger direct, etc.), and youre located nearby, I highly recommend stopping by. I usually try not to let the positive light that I have over a thing or place sway a review like this one but, in the recent light of Frys, Micro Center is a place that I can only cherish even more than I have across my lifetime.Given my experience with Micro Center across my lifetime, and the amount of services and products it offers(for the tech savvy), this is almost certainly the best recommendation for a technically related store/mall that I can recommend. Yes, the graphics card that youre searching for might be sold out. Yes, you might be waiting in line for a certain period to have your computer serviced but, if you consider the big picture in regards to what this type of retailer actually is, all of it makes sense in regards to just how important a place like Micro Center actually is to a community that still wants to purchase electronics from a physical store.Im looking forward to my next trip to Cincinnati, just so I can pick up some things at Micro Center that I literally cannot find at any other (box) retailer. If there was an option to do so, I would leave zero stars. My last two visits were awful. On both occasions, there were several people standing around yet, no one could seem to help me with the items that I came to to store to purchase. I actually watched two sales people argue over who was going to help me. Neither of them wanted to assist me. On todays visit, I went in for computer repair and there were five people behind the counter. I was told that someone would help me, but everyone went to the back and left me standing at the service desk for close to 10 minutes with various people walking back and forth telling me that someone would help me shortly. After getting fed up, I decided to take my business elsewhere. As Im walking out, a man comes in to the service desk and gets help right away. I will never spend another dime in this store. I will not pay an establishment to treat me poorly.

Video card in my PC died. Online stated 3060ti($599) in stock. Spoke to chat to confirm they were not lottery items. Was assured they werent due to stock showing. Watch stock decrease from 15 to 12 while I drove 2 hours. Walked in and no 3060ti in stock but they do have 3080ti that I could purchase for 1800 bucks. Or a much inferior 1050ti for 300. Continued watching the stock drop one at a time while I drove back. I feel like this was a bait and switch.

I took in my laptop for repairs as it needed a new motherboard after a drink spill accident. I requested that I be sent text messages as my phone as I always keep it on silent, but all they ever did was call. luckily I was on my phone every time so that particularly wasnt an issue, however the phone calls were never very good quality, whether that being connection issues or worker pronunciation I do not know. Basically when they called to to give me the estimate I heard ~$120 in total, I thought I was getting an amazing deal, but as it turns out, no, it was ~$520. And now that I have my laptop back its still slower than before the accident and randomly blue screens when I have Solidworks CAD program sitting open.

Took the kids to shop for 3d printer filament and found the printer they got for Christmas from Amazon on sale for almost 100 bucks less. Bought it and returned the other to Amazon. Employees were happy to help and friendly. Crazy long lines ( day after Christmas) but they moved fast and efficient. Would easily shop here again and again and recommend to others.

Ive never been to a place like it, if you need computer parts, this is THE place. Isles of every single thing you could ever need for pc building, hardware, etc. If you need electronics its your place from bolts and tools to graphics cards and monitors. The staff also are great and extremely helpful for anyone who doesnt know what they are looking for, and helpful for brainstorming options on pcs you are building yourself. I cant give them 5 stars because I got a laptop with a bad battery from them, but I did get it 100% reimbursed and was out the door with a new one in 10 minutes which was great considering how far of a drive for me it was. They dont drag their feet with getting stuff done in there and I can really respect that, but Ill leave my review around a 4.6 out of 5.

Purchased an expensive laptop early last year that was covered under manufacture warranty for an entire year. Not even 3 months into owning the thing did I start to have issues with it not wanting to turn on. Finally around October the thing just flat out stopped working. I confirmed that I had the manufacture warranty on it and so did the rep with micro center. I dropped it off to them in November of 2021 with 3 months left on my warranty. They told me the motherboard was bad and then tried to charge me $1200 to fix it which the. They realized that it was covered under warranty. It took them the entire time I had left on my warranty to replace the motherboard and no sooner did I get it back and plug it in to use it did I have a plethora or other issues that made it non useable, such as freezing, rebooting on its own. They forgot to re-upload the OS after the motherboard switch they also forgot to update drivers. Needless to say it’s June 2021 and I’ve had to take it back another 3-4 times and it still does not work. Now they are telling me it’s the logic board and again they are trying to charge me $1200. They never fixed it from the start and are not willing to honor the warranty when they held on to it for nearly 3 months and still didn’t fix it and ran the remaining tune out on my warranty. And to top it all off I e reached my breaking point so I just told them to ship it back to me and I’ll have HP fix it and they won’t even do that even though I’m nearly an hour away from there.

Im on the fence on 3/4 star....this place is awful on the weekends....super crowded and staff never seem to have a good system for helping shoppers.... However with that said the store is wonderful, huge selection and if you are into 3d printing its amazing to be able to just walk into the store and buy a reasonably priced consistent filament. Of course PC component selection is great as well but as mentioned can be frustrating getting someone to open a case.

Sent laptop in to repair service and paid $200+ for a new battery to fix the problem of it dying suddenly when running. They only tested if it could turn on, not if it would die, which it still does. Can’t even focus the originally stated problem.

I officially said goodbye to my console life last weekend and went to microcenter for the first time, reading about the good reviews their pre-built pcs have. I was introduced to Carson H. and he spent about an hour with me, helping me put my system and components together. He actually saved me some money on my PC choice and talked me into spending more in other area like a good mouse and keyboard. He explained everything in detail so I understood what I was getting and why it was a good choice. You cant go to many stores like this and get that kind of service. I would definitely recommend microcenter to others.

Absolutely terrible service. Took my laptop in for a simple repair on a hinge cap, they ended up somehow losing the data that was accessible to me 20 minutes prior to bringing in the laptop, which was 2 years worth of college work which now I have no access to and have nothing to put together a portfolio for my career after graduation. I was offered nothing in return for their extreme incompetence and was met with rudeness and condescending tones all around. They have truly and wholly ruined a massive part of my education and it seems they are taking 0 responsibility for it. Absolutely terrible establishment, I would not recommend even my worst enemies to do business with their repair service. Ever. I have been a loyal customer of the Micro Center chain for years and this simple fix has escalated to the point where I cannot ever support their business again. Thanks for screwing me out of tens of thousands of dollars in college tuition, and multiple thousands as well in technological repairs and costs as well.DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU HAVE IMPORTANT DATA ON A DEVICE NEEDING SERVICE.

I love this place for most of my technology needs, but customer service needs a little work. When it comes to ringing out products the cashiers are great. Its when I need help on the sales floor that I get irritated. I see people that can help in every area but almost every visit Im ignored and walked past to help another guest (I can tell they werent helping them before).

Micro center is by far my favorite place for computer stuff. They stock stuff that other places dont. One day I decided I was gonna build a PC. I researched everything online and filled out a cart on Micro centers website. They had all the parts in stock. Building a PC is something I think everyone should try at some point. It makes you proud when you are using the PC lol. I built my PC about 7 years ago and I still use it this day. So dont hesitate head out to microcenter. This is one of my favorite stores. People working there are very knowledgeable. I drive 50 miles one way just to go there. I just tell them what my problem is and they derect me to what I need to buy. Love this store.

Husband bought a laptop PC which the manager personally thanked him for (whaaaat?!) and I got some pen tips for my Apple pencil and I didnt feel any type of strange, arrogant judgement by the friendly folks working in the Apple department.

Great store but two thoughts- a guy told me sometimes it says in stock online but isn’t actually because apparently the item disappears if it goes to zero. that’s not a problem for other stores so i think fixing that issue might be a priority due to the age of online ordering/in store pickup we’re in, because it said 1 available and turns out there’s none available. secondly, update your site! it looks like it just came out of the 90s! otherwise everyone is super friendly and helpful and i do appreciate it!

Drove over 2 hours from Louisville kentucky to find a part and get advice on our pc and build. They didn’t have the part and model we needed which happens no big deal we bought a new monitor instead. The sad part is we waited in the section looking for someone to help us for over an hour and 20 mins.(no exaggeration we walked in the store at 6:50 and we’re just now leaving at 8:10). Several employees walked past us and ignored us. We watched employees sit and talk with each other and then walk away when would try and walk to them for help. We finally walked to someone in another area and asked for help. He took us back to the section we came from radioed for someone to come help us and then said I’m not in this department just look around and then left us. When we finally got someone to help us it seemed as if it was an inconvenience to help us. He told us we don’t have the part sorry and then walked away. When we still needed advice and had questions about ordering the part and still needed the dang part. Just sad a store with so much potential and the employees act to good to help you. Waste of a day trip got better customer service at Best Buy.
