Clean grocery store. They offer bulk on some items. I was specifically glad to see the spices in bulk. It is the best way to get your spices without paying the price for the bottle itself. Their pizza tasted good as well.

Loved that they authentic Japan sweets!!! This is the only Hy-Vee in the area that I have sounds these at. 🥰

We were in line to check when manager Dwight stopped and asked if we found everything, Chatted with us for a couple of minutes, The following week he stopped to say hello.How nice it is to be recognized and made to feel welcome. While Im at it want to let you know how we appreciate Donna G, we always choose to go through her line, She calls us by name, knows what we want in paper and plastic and makes sure the bags arent to heavy. Two very nice people. We look forward to seeing them.

We love to go to Hy-Vee whenever we are close to one. I hope they find a place in Joplin soon so we do not have to drive to one. Always outstanding selection and quality.

All top notch with the exception of their raw meat department. I feel it is all processed and packaged off site. Price chopper has fresh cuts.Reply: do you process all the fresh cuts on site or offsite. The packaging is what turned me away from “fresh cut meats”

It was clean, organized and their staff was very helpful. They have everything you need, and some things you dont. Starbucks inside! Theyve remodeled or something, but I loved it. The produce looked really fresh. The options for groceries is endless. The prices were reasonable.

HyVee pharmacy visit. So much better service than using big pharmacies. Always take time to explain questions, etc.Nice to be able to pick up groceries like orange juice and chicken soup at same time too!

Have shopped at Hy-Vee for years. They have a good selection & prices in line with other stores. Think they are taking appropriate covid precautions.

I called and ordered flowers for a dear friend who passed.  I asked for fall arrangement with sunflowers and spent $100. Her niece took a pic for me as i could not attend.  SHAME SHAME SHAME on you for what you sent and charged me for this. UnbelievableUpdate, i am being refunded but the damage is done

I really liked this hyvee. It was great finding a familiar place while we were on vacation. Other than the layout it was just like the ones back home which is great. Hyvee is our preferred grocery store. As usual a great shopping experience.

Great experience today! My boyfriend and I picked up some fresh salmon and shrimp and the gentleman who helped us was very knowledgeable. We grilled both and both were delicious! Then, when we were checking out, a very nice female employee got us a HyVee check out card. The customer service was just great!

Wanted to use them for a wedding dinner in September. Showed up for my tasting and they didn’t have 2 of the 4 things I wanted to try even though we had talked the previous week about what we wanted to try. Then after a week of waiting I contacted my original point of contact and was told I needed to talk to someone else. I emailed 3 separate times and never received an email or call back. Extremely disappointed in the customer service. What food they did have for tasting was very good.

Love Hy-Vee. I live in Leavenworth and will drive 30 miles just to shop at Hy-Vee. Great produce department and the meat counter is one of the best

I like this store except their produce needs help and always check the expiration dates on everything you dont think has a high turnover. Staff is great. Lots of self checkouts if thats your thing. Store fully remodeled and always clean.

The bakery for birthday cakes.. she is amazing been my cake place for 4 years!!

I have been going here for years. The new renovation is very disappointing, while the store looks nice, nothing was done to improve customer SHOPPING experience. The health food section was cut in half and a majority of the food section is mostly unchanged. Instead they invested space into expanding the toiletries and makeup section, in fact a large portion of an aisle is now dedicated to bath bombs!? This seems like an odd choice, it was a battle to get through any grocery aisle, but this massively expanded section was empty. When going to checkout there was one lane open and the rest were self checkout. The self checkout system was creating complications for many around me. None of the Fuel Saver discounts successfully applied in my order. The very nice overworked manager came over to help and said “what items did you have that were on sale?”. That is ridiculous, at the point where I’m checking myself out and keeping a log of all the proper prices, I should be on the payroll. On a positive note, the produce/meat is up to Hyvees high standards, and all employees were exceptionally nice. Sad a corporate directive hurt the customer experience.

This is one of the smaller HyVee stores in the community. They do offer wide selection of various items, although not quite as robust as at other HyVee locations around the city. I miss the longer open hours that were present prior to pandemic. Would like to see the store available 24/7 for those of us who do shift work with odd hours

Love the remodle !You can find everything! Clean bright cheerful. I used self checkout . Very comfortable and easy to use . Very glad to see you still have cashiers thou so very helpful. Wonderful store makes shopping easy after a hard days work .

One of the employees, Joe S. Was an absolute pleasure to do business with. He went above and beyond in order to help me with what I needed. Most employees are so monotone and boring, its the same thing every time but this guy made me laugh and spiced it up a bit. Whatever hes doing hes doing it right!

Come here often to buy my lunch for work and its usually very pleasant. The lady today 6/7 wearing that dreadful creme colored dress shirt who appeared to be someone in charge I think because she felt the need to talk to the employees like children and with disrespect in front of the customers. The employees generally all seemed very uncomfortable, she should probably conduct herself in an appropriate manner. Besides that I always have a great experience here.

Their products were quite a bit pricier than anywhere else Ive been for groceries but all in all it was nice and spacious and clean and theyre meat products and produce all looked very good.

Received my covid shots there..I was very comfortable and confident ty for my 10$ hyvee card

How do you not like this store. The prices are on the high side but you can get some good sales (which requiresa club card). The store is very clean, well stocked and has decent prepared food choices.

It was awful. I ordered a birthday cake it was worst cake And ruint my twin grandsons birthdayToo late to get another one.

They really cleaned this store up and its as up to date as any other local grocery store.

Went to HyVee to purchase hamburger patties for a church Sunday School picnic. The patties are great and the price was good. The butcher was a great help and the young woman who made the patties did a great job.

I like this store a lot, but this wasnt my best experience. I went through the self check out and got hung up because one of my items wouldnt scan (please wait for assistance), then realized I had sweet potato sushi instead of tuna (it looked like tuna!) so I had to cancel my order and go back through. The second time, I couldnt complete my order because of unexpected item in bagging area. It was just super annoying.

My favorite grocery store, I find all my cooking related items and sometimes makeup items as well. Customer service is awesome. Store is clean and organized. Following the practice of cleaning and masks.

The bakery, the fresh veggies, are outstanding. The only improvement I also suggested to someone in customer service, is many more signs are neededon the very long aisles in the middle of the store. It is difficult to find what you are looking for when the location signs there are few and far between. I realize that they have recently remodeled and now they need to address this need. The aisles in the center of the store are so long without crossovers and if you cannot find what you are looking for ina given aisle you must travel too far to look in the adjacent aisles and then thereare too few signs to guide you in thoseincredibly long central aisles.

Im finding the Hy-Vee brands are not up to par after replacing the name brand due to no stock.

Although i love grocery shopping here, extremely disappointed with breakfast at the in-store restaurant. We had to ask for the toast that came with hubbys; ask for syrup for daughters Frenchtoast; ask for more coffee. We ordered mascapone stuffed French toast and got regular, was given some lame excuse about the cook. Also biscuits and gravy was cold and a 3 dollar side of bacon only 2 overdone strips.

Limited selection, but the store updates make the shopping experience great.

Bought some fresh brats at meat counter that were wonderful. The only downfall was the butchet that waited on me was very surly.

First thing I look at when I go into a store, how clean. it was very clean was able to get in and out. Very quick today😀

This place is a sham. You have big signs for everyone to see of parking spots for new moms acting like you care, but you don’t carry infant Tylenol or Motrin when my infant is crying in the middle of the night. I come here thinking of course you’d have such a common item, you must; you even have a parking spot for new moms! Nope. Again, what a sham. Not coming back.

Fabulous store renovations --- and my favorite is the fresh cooked food area to eat in or take dinner home!!

I went to the bakery to get my husband a couple of apple fritters around dinner time. The lady behind the counter told me to hold on and she was moving pans and then began to wipe off a large table THOROUGHLY before she would help me. I was the only one at the counter and had to wait approximately 10 minutes before she waited on me. I found this totally wrong and evidently she felt getting her chores done was more important than waiting on ONE customer.

Almost everytime I go there there at least 1 item that rings up a price that is more than price on shelf. Dont go there much anymore as they want you to pay around $12 a month to get the good deals and they just send a 1 page ad out on Wednesday with not many items on it

Awesome. We love Hy-ve. We buy all our gluten free and specific allergy-free foods. They have a big selection and they stay open late!Also, we purchased bath and shower bombs from this location. This Princess and Pirates selection smells just like Strawberry Shortcakes Hair!!! One whiff gave me a childhood flashback. 😍🍰

This store was vastly improved by the recent renovation. It is more of an upscale experience than before. Too bad they decided to make it difficult to shop there. I went in last Friday mid-morning and had difficulty finding a parking place. I am handicapped, so this usually isnt a problem. But it was this time. The main reason is that they have converted 6-8 handicapped spaces to the left of the main entrance to HyVee Aisles Online spots. ALL of these were empty when I tried to get in. A substantial number of other spaces were blocked off as well (also empty) and more are occupied by shipping containers, I went in and there were no electric carts. This store used to have plenty. I completed my shopping and didnt see a single one anywhere in the store. Further, It was difficult to get down any aisle, even at this low time, because there were so many people filling online orders. I know that this is what is happening these days, but they were impolite and pushy, parking their large carts in one spot (blocking access to the merchandise) and walking up and down the aisles. Price Chopper down the street didnt have these issues...

Since the remodeling, this is the best store in Shawnee! Such a great selection on everything

Since they renovated its like a very upscale shopping experience. They have so much more to offer now too!I do not recommend curbside pickup if you value your time, spent an hour in the parking lot waiting for my order to come out.

Amazing remodel of this store. Excellent options in the deli/fresh produce section. The meat department is full of delicious grilling items to accompany your favorite piece of meat.

I have received bad customer service at this location. I called customer service and they did not follow up as promised.

Even late in the evening you wont have a hard time locating almost anything.

The grocery pickup service is nice but we have to call in each week because we didnt get everything or were charged twice for items.

The staff is amazingly friendly and helpful. They work EXTREMELY hard. With the pandemic they’ve had to go above and beyond to meet the demands!

Bakery department has awful customer service. I was there yesterday morning, 3 ladies working behind the counter. I stood there for 7 minutes before anyone even acknowledged I was there. Then one of the ladies said hold on. They all continued doing whatever they were doing and I waited 10 more minutes. I just left my cart and went to a different bakery. This is constantly happening at your new bakery. If people can’t be bothered to help a customer get donuts then put them back in a self serve shelf. It seems like all the employees that can’t stand to help customers get thrown together in the bakery.

Walking through the produce section and saw a teenager employee fully sneeze onto the produce he was restocking. No attempt at covering his mouth was made. I will not be buying produce from Hy-Vee again.

Reviewed the wring place initially. I have always had a five star experience at Hy-Vee as well, just for more diverse reasons.

Place is nice and clean with nice employees. Only issue I have with them is they dont exactly have many electric carts, and trying to shop there while getting over a spinal injury just sucks. Other than that its a great store.

I went for the Asian Buffet, as I havent seen a Hy-Vee in a while. The highlight of this day was a bachelor farmer who thought he was in time for happy hour. What a lonely talker! No wonder hes single! It was hilarious. The barkeep just listened and listened. Fabulous!The HyChi buffet is always good and a great value IMHO in my humble opinion.

Went to get my 1st covid shot. All at the pharmacy were very nice. Took about 30 minutes altogether with having to wait 15 minutes after the shot.

What a home run this was for us and our wedding! Chad and his team at the Shawnee Mission Parkway Hyvee were exceptional to work with and kept us in the know about everything. The food was amazing and we are still getting compliments about it a month later. We chose roast beef, mashed potatoes with gravy, macaroni & cheese, and a caesar salad. The biggest hit was the roast beef. It was so tender it melted in your mouth! We could not have been happier with how our experience working with them was. We would definitely recommend them to anyone!

This is the best HyVee in the area. The hot food is always good! We love the fried chicken and the Asian food the best. The store is very clean and shelves are always stocked. I also love to buy meat for grilling here.

Sunday afternoon before the Chiefs play and the place is packed out with people. I could have picked a better time to pick up a few items.I havent been in the store for a few months. They have finished the remodeling from what I could tell. Now I have to reorient myself where things are located in the store. There have been big changes.Their prices have increased to cover the remodeling.

Covid vaccine for the win! The lady giving the shots was a wonderful human, could not recommend more.

They really work hard to get your orders for you. They will text you if they have questions if something is out of stock, Would you like this substitution? Everyone is so nice and ready to help.

I really enjoy the food court at this Hyvee. Looks can be deceiving when you pull into the parking lot. Older looking Hyvee but inside is beautiful. Food is always amazing and the bar is really nice. Starbucks is my go to spot for coffee and to hang out.

Clean store well stocked

The store itself is great. The curbside pickup option is very poorly executed. Expect to wait at least 20 min in your car before anyone even comes to ask your name and then another 10 min to get your order. Happens every time even when there is only 1 or 2 other vehicles waiting.
