I ordered some bolts for my crossbow and in the times of covid they were unfortunately unable to provide me said bolts due to supply issues. Rather than tell me oh times are tough sorry and just canceling my order. they offered me ones that were nearly twice as much for the same price... and thanked me for shopping with them... Ive never had such good customer service... they gained a customer for life if they offer it and I want it (or need it, if my wife asks) I will buy it from them.

I live in West Virginia and when I placed my order for a new 6 wt fly fishing setup, they called me as if they were in my home town to discuss my orders and offer to line my reel. You just don’t get that kind of service ordering online. The shop manager even offered to refund part of the backing that I wouldn’t need. Recently bought a Surly Midnight Special from Aventuron, as it was one of the few places I could find one. I ordered it over the phone and received great service when i needed help picking out the size. When the bike arrived in-store and I went to pick it up, the mechanic there (Anton) was super friendly and helpful. He even gave me 15% off pedals and an Aventuron hat. The bike itself is fantastic. Even though I live an hour away I will definitely make a point to shop through Aventuron online or whenever im in the Sheboygan area.

I ordered a mountain bike and some other stuff from them online. It all arrived very quick and the price was great. They were VERY responsive and helpful on their website chat.

I ordered my bike at 1:40pm on Monday and at 4pm Wednesday it was in my living room fully built! I could not be anymore pleased with my experience with this company. They made buying my bike so easy. The bike was very well packed and you could tell that extra time and care was taken to ensure the bike would not get damaged on its journey to your home. Anton and Jes were very helpful both before and AFTER the sale. I also got a incredible deal on the bike as well. I will not hesitate when the time comes to order my next bike or bikes from this company.

Update 2/12/2021 After my initial experience, I was contacted by the owner, Carl, who was genuinely apologetic and wanted to get my order right. Understandably, the store, like all stores, is experiencing some challenges because of the pandemic. The fact that the owner was willing to reach out to me to correct my order, I think, speaks to the stores dedication to customer satisfaction, which it what I we all like to see in a store. So, Ive upgraded this review from a one star to a four star to, hopefully, reflect the situation. 2/9/2021 I ordered an Epicurean pizza peel with a rivet handle online. It had been a week and I had not received the item or a tracking update. I emailed customer service with no response. I called and a rep said they were waiting for the company to ship them new pizza peels. So, like another reviewer mentioned, they didnt have their inventory managed properly. Its been two weeks now and I still have not recieved the item, a tracking number, or an update from the store. I tried calling today multiple times with no answer. So frustrating! Its a shame because I know this store has received a lot of good reviews. Hopefully, these inventory management issues and communication issues are but a few isolated incidents.

I recently purchased a high dollar/ high quality fly reel made by SEiGLER reels. It features a unique lever drag system that contributed to their being named Best New Reel at the 2018 iCAST show. They are drop shippers i ordered a cooler from them and they didnt even have it in stock they were dropshipping it directly from engel and engel didnt even have it in stock. They dont answer the phone most of the day and they didnt even communicate to me that the cooler wasnt coming any time soon all while I needed it for a trip I was doing and could have got it somewhere else. Bought a Simms Vapor Elite (grey blue) rain jacket for warm weather up north in Illinois during summer and winter/spring in Florida. Jacket was priced very attractively. I purchased a second bicycle on Black Friday. The price was not updated so I called them and they offered the discounted price. The item arrived and I started to assemble when I noticed the pedals were missing and a plastic piece called the pie plate was broken. When I asked the seller for help to replace the bicycle I was told they wont cover returns or replacement, I was told to contact the bicycle manufacturer. 3 months later bike is still in the box unused. I received an incomplete and damaged item and have to deal with the headache. I am truly disappointed and wont be buying anything from them ever again.

I ordered a Surly Ogre bicycle on 07/07/20 and it was delivered on 07/18/20, which given the current climate and high demand for bikes is fairly quick for the bike to be built and shipped. The email notifications from Aventuron were good and when I called to ask how long it would take for the bike to be built and shipped Carl told me 3-5 business days, which proved to be accurate. The bike itself was packaged very well inside its box and came with all the owners manuals, warranty sheet, etc. My only complaint would be that some parts that should have been greased/lubricated, such as the rear hub axle, were left neglected. Other than that using Aventuron was a good experience and I would order from them again.

Drove 2.5 hrs from Illinois for TFO rods and the store looked closed even though google said it was open til 5pm. I freaked out thinking we drove out for no reason. I called the store to check if its open and the gentleman said they only do online orders and curbside pickup. He took my order over the phone and brought the rods right out to us. I ordered a Water bottle carrier for my road bike. After a week It hadnt shipped so I called to see the status. They told me it would ship that day. I just had a great experience with Carl Martens and Aventuron. I am going on an Alaska fishing expedition this summer, and was looking for waders and wading boots. The waders I wanted were nowhere to be found, and the manufacturer told me that the next shipment would not be until September. Other outfitters had told me that they were out of stock, and would not be able to help me until September. I contacted Carl and he and his wife looked in to my request. A week later the waders, boots, and other items for my trip had arrived. In addition, they kept me informed about the status of the shipment the entire time. Outstanding service and communication. Even though it was an online purchase, the customer service felt like I was shopping at my local bike shop. I really feel like the operators of this business genuinely care about the customer experience. They went above and beyond to make sure I was satisfied with my new frame purchase.

Researched a new mountain bike for nearly 3 months. Started looking at Orange, then after researching 20-25 other brands, came back to Orange. I found the only distributor in the USA, and it was Aventuron. From the very beginning, Carls service was genuine, selfless and complete. Even when I first told him Id decided to buy another brand, he was kind and excited for me. So rare. Turned out I came back to him some time later, and made the purchase. I ordered a 2017 Orange Clockwork Evo RS. Carl patiently helped me through, I believe, 3 (maybe 4) changes in the color of my bike and/or decals. Additionally, 7 of the main components of the build for my bike werent available, so Carl helped in the *upgraded* replacement of all 7 components. How awesome is that?! Long story short, Carls customer service cannot be better. Havent yet received my bike, but my experience at this point is certainly 5 stars. I highly recommend buying a bike from Carl and Aventuron.

Our local bike store was surprised by the competitive pricing (as my son took the bike in to show it to them 😊). The experience was great from start to finish. It was easy use the website. The product was exactly as promised with minimal assembly needed. The bike shipped/arrived quickly. Aventuron was attentive in following up and offering to answer questions. Placed a $500 order with overnight air shipping on an item that was “in stock” only to be told 6 hours later that it wasn’t in stock and was being shipped by the distributor to them. Couldn’t get a straight answer on when ten point was going to have it there.A business would know when they are getting a shipment, not a 48 hour guess....only after contacting the business after closing did I find out that the bow didn’t make it and that it would be another 72 hours before it even shipped....maybe...They did refund my overnight shipping and offered 10% off, but can’t even guarantee when it’s coming to them. Never did they offer to replace with something. Similar, even at a cost to me or them. Just poor communication. Only heard things when I made contact. Very lax about timelines. Don’t trust the website because on the rare chance that it loads 100% properly their inventory probably isn’t accurate. Seems to sell through other vendors not through in house inventory.
