Went to City Bakery a whim for some sweet baked goods and was not disappointed in the least! Its a small homely bakery that has its own charm to it inside and outside and despite being small is bakery clean and nice in general. Service was great and patient with me when I was deciding what to get, no problem there. What I got, an assortment of cookies and breaks sweets, were very good and incredibly well priced. My only complaint is some of there products could be baked without Lard bit that is it, City Bakery is a nice place aside from that!Pictures are of the building inside and out and baked goods I got!

Their specialty breads are always so good. The sweets there are the main attraction but their little sideline of ethnic specialty breads deserve attention. The variety of their bread selection and the quality of every type I have tried tells me that somebody there loves what they do.

The hard rolls are the best. We buy a dozen at a time and freeze what we dont need that day. Somehow, they taste just as good if you thaw them for an hour. Highly recommended.

Do NOT go here with small children. There system of long lines & taking customers on only their word (of whos next?) doesnt work in our day.You know, just because a business does things the way they always do or are making money for many years DOESNT make them good.Some of their bakery is very good tasting, but not worth going because of the poor service😔

Would give it 5 stars if the customer service was great.The best way to help first time customers or customers at all is not rushing them or starring at you every second once you step in the store. And it would be nice to actually smile too while talking to your customers. Other than that the Bake goodies look decent and they taste Great.

If I dont have to go to Sheboygan for doctors appointments I will drive the 80 mile round trip for their Hard Rolls. Best there is. Their other Breads and Baked Goods is always top of the line. Always friendly staff!

My favorite doughnut shop in sheboygan! Everything is so fresh and there are lots of options. Hidden gem, and great pricing. I bought 2 chocolate covered brownies, 1 apple fritter, and two mud pies yesterday, just 5.50.

The donuts were very good. The cinnamon raisin bread was ok. They do not cut specialty breads which was a big disappointment. The lady behind the counter was really rude.

People have said City Bakery is a great place. Sadly I can not echo that from todays experience. I LOVE shopping local! I encourage friends and family to do this all the time. Small businesses in Sheboygan are the heart and soul of our City.City Bakery did not give me excellence or even kindness or respect, infact, just the opposite. The woman at the counter was very rude from minute one. When I inquired about their mini hard rolls she looked at me like I was crazy, when I asked if they make mini hard rolls, She told me I was at the wrong bakery. I asked again and was schooled you need to order them ahead. I explained I wasnt aware of this and asked if there was any way I could get some for a work meeting. I was told to come back at 11:30 and maybe there would be some extra.Long story short, we are so lucky to have great local businesses here in Sheboygan, including AMAZING bakeries ...such as Johnstons Bakery, only a few blocks away on Superior Ave. In the future, I will be giving them all my business. Sorry City Bakery was SUCH a let down.

Vienna bread is unbeatable. Hard rolls to die for. They have a garlic infused bread that is perfect for soup.

I was a bit disappointed to see margarine being used instead of butter. Youve got to be kidding me!! We are in Wisconsin!!! Margarine is such an unhealthy choice, but again WE ARE IN WISCONSIN.

I recently order 12 dozen buns for a party and was not happy. Most of the buns were small. I had them cut them and they were cut extremely off center that you couldnt even use them. I dont know if I will go back.
