We got into the need for a new car at a seriously tough time with chip shortages and scarce availability. Somehow we lucked out by finding Greenway Kia had an incoming Carnival. Buddy was our sales representative and he was awesome! He had so much patience and offered help during me pulling out 2 huge car seats and trying to configure how theyd fit into the Carnival while having to add a 3rd car seat soon. Ken was great at working with us to meet my trade in expectations and our rate to where we wanted (and needed) it to be. I was worried buying a car during this time because dealerships do have the ability to sell these cars without you (someone else would have easily been in to buy that Carnival had we not bought it); but they were still great at working with us. Thank you Buddy and Ken for all your help! We are LOVING this Carnival!!

Bought my 2017 KIA from Ashley Reeves she was very friendly the day I purchased it but I asked her about a spare key before I left and she told me she had spoken to the previous owner and would mail it to me they cleaned it before I left it had KIA floor mats in it that snap down when they drove it around to clean and they had place paper down after cleaning called her and ask about them and was suppose to. be sent to me along with the key and still havent received anything and when I phone she doesnt answer and has not return my call, they sure liked my money I paid for it I paid cash .... I will not recommend her to anyone she does not stand behind her word and in my word will lie to anyone to get a sale shame on you always remember there is a thing called karma and that will come back to you.

Salesperson 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 She was pretty great to deal with!!Experience wasnt that bad we got a fairly good deal.Finance person 🌟He gets one star because he knew we didnt want our payment any higher and still provided a description of the platinum warranty package and Gap coverage which we were never going to add.But the experience as a whole 🌟🌟🌟🌟 four stars.

The car buying experience was fine. I was in and out in a matter of an hour. However, it has been almost two weeks and I still am unable to purchase my car tag at my local countys tax collectors office because the dealership did not send out the paperwork in time. I called the dealership twice a day for the last 7 days and had to leave a voicemail each time. Not a single person has called me back. I finally got in touch with the finance department on 8/25/21, after being transferred twice, and I was informed the paperwork was sent out on 8/24/21. According to Mississippi law, if I purchase a vehicle out of state, I have 9 business days to purchase my tag without paying a late penalty. I purchased the car on 8/16/21 and today, 8/26/21 is the 9th day. The tax collectors office still hasnt received the paperwork. I understand times are tough and a lot of businesses are short staffed, but failing to return the multiple phone calls and voicemails of a paying customer is not the way to run a business. I am an attorney practicing in Mississippi, with colleagues licensed in Alabama, and I will be seeking reimbursement of the late penalty on my car tag if it comes to that.

I bought my car in December since then there has been a turnover in most of the workers, supposed to be for the better but theyre not. I wouldnt recommend anyone buy a car here and if you already have a car from here take it somewhere else for service. The salesman are not knowledgeable on what they are selling both previous and new salesman, parts people are not knowledgeable on what they are ordering, and service people flat out lie to your face. Even simple things like to vacuum your car before installing new floor mats are lost on these people, which I was told my car was cleaned up real nice by the parts guy who was running the service desk which had not happened. The part that was installed on my car was not what I wanted, ordered, or confirmed from the salesman and parts people. This is because they are not knowledgeable with the cars they are selling and what I needed should have been on the car from the factory. Since this happened I have spoken to all 3 managers none of whom have helped me and the main manager has not called me back to resolve the issue after multiple promises from people. I understand that they are new and trying to fix some problems but the overall lack of customer service and knowledge at this dealership leaves a lot to be desired.

We’ve had nothing but a run around with this dishonest business. They will not return your calls and the receptionist screens calls to the GM. We bought a car for our daughter months ago as you can see her review below. After tons of emails and calls with no resolution. DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES DO BUSINESS WITH THIS PLACE. And I’m sure the owner will come on here and say sorry please contact this person. ( Which changes regularly). And still nothing will be done.My wife Nikki ( Dana) has been doing the calling. Daughters name is Locke. And we have every email and phone record to prove our correspondence and Kias response. Looks like we’ll likely have to take legal action.

PLEASE READ THE EDITED VERSION BELOW BEFORE MAKING A DECISION........This has been by far the easiest, smoothest car buying experience I have ever had. Kasey has been wonderful so far! My daughter loves her car! If you are looking for a new or used vehicle, I definitely recommend making the drive to Greenway Kia to make a deal!10-12-2020 EDIT - unfortunately, I have had to retract my previous five-star rating . I had brought in my current vehicle in hopes of getting my daughter a used car and a car for me at a lower price than I currently had. I repeated my request several times during the negotiation period and told them that if Greenway could not make it happen, I was not going to trade. After finding a car for my daughter, I was told that they would finish up the deal on my car the next morning (10-6). I started calling around lunchtime on Tuesday to check on the progress. I called a total of five times trying to get an answer with no response and no callback. I finally spoke to Terrence (the general manager), and he assured me that everything was fine and that he would call me back.I waited until Wednesday morning and started calling again. I was told several versions of a story; that I had told them I would be coming back down Tuesday morning to finalize the deal (Kasey had told me that coming back would be unnecessary and that it could be finished over the phone), that I had told them that I would only take an SUV (I had in fact been looking at a Kia Forte), and that the paperwork was tied up at the bank. I finally got Kasey on the phone Wednesday evening and told him that if a deal could not be reached, I would be returning the car for my daughter and picking up my car (which would be within the three-day return window that was discussed in the paperwork). He got very mad and said that he was going to contact Terrence and call me the next morning. The only way that I could complete the deal was to agree to pay $130 per month more than I had told them I was prepared to pay, and I refused.On Thursday I waited until 10:30 a.m. to call, and I attempted to contact Kasey. He said that he was off for the day. I told him that I would call Terrence at the dealership, and he said that Terrence was off too. I told Kasey that I would be bringing the car back to Muscle Shoals in 90 minutes.Kasey arrived at the dealership about 15 minutes after I arrived, and when I told him that, because the entire deal could not be completed, I was going to get my car back and leave the Malibu, he told me, Ive been given specific instructions not to take the car back. I reminded him that I was within the 72-hour window to return the vehicle. He then asked me how I was going to feel going home and seeing my daughters face when I told her that I had returned her car. Finally, after some time, he told me that the contract would be voided out. I requested something stating that the contract was voided, and Kasey refused to provide it.I have now received a Welcome to the Kia Family email congratulating me on my purchase of a vehicle from Greenway (received at 9:58 a.m. on 10-12-2020). I am waiting to hear from Terrence again before I call an attorney.I no longer recommend Greenway as a dealership with which to negotiate.

Had to take my daughters car to the service department for a recall. Jarvis in service got her engine replaced by the manufacturer because of internal engine failure. He kept in good communication with me through the whole deal. I appreciate his integrity and attention to detail when it comes to customer service. I highly recommend the service department at this dealership. Jarvis is the man to talk to.

OK the entire experience was awful. My step daughter came there to buy a car. She was told in person you are approved for a Chevy Cruise. Come down sign the papers and take it home. 2 hours go by only to hear we cant approve her for a $7k car but we can get her approved for a 13k car w her monthly payments she can afford. Ok she paid the down payment and was told come tomorrow and pick it up. Ok now we think she has paid down on a 2016 Fusion and going to sign paper work and get there only to find out she hasnt been approved and they come trying to sell her a 2015 Kia for 8k. Now if theyd started off with honesty Id bought that car but to start off seeing a 20 yr old young girl n tried to take her for as much as possible. The worst car sales men in this area are at KIA.....

We traded a Kia for a new one 21 days ago and the one we traded in has still not been paid off through Kia Finance. It is now 17 days late. After multiple trips to the dealership and several phone calls, this is still not resolved. I’m in the process of purchasing a house and I need this resolved. We trusted Kia to know what they were doing with a trade in. Apparently we were mistaken.UPDATE: I emailed the GM as directed and was promised this situation would be resolved by today at the latest. They have now had possession of our trade-in for a full month and have failed to pay off the loan, causing us to be 21 days past due. Out of curtesy, I emailed him again this morning and received no response. This is absolutely the most unprofessional, incompetent group I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. Highly Do Not Recommend you trade in at Greenway Kia of the Shoals!!!!

Just came to trade in my car. Was just looking at all the cars the had and an employee came and told me that his manager sent him to keep an eye on me(no he didnt come to help me. I know the difference). So then when I came inside the manager had a trash attitude with us. Just because Im black doesnt give you the right to talk down on me. Hate doing business here. Salesman was very nice and helpful, but the rest of our experience was a nightmare. I have not had this car for more than a month, and I am already having to spend $450 on a new part. They did not give us a manual with the car. It is IMPOSSIBLE to get any form of help over the phone post purchase. The worst had been the finance department. He messed all of our paperwork up, and has made us a month late on receiving a car tag due to the mistakes he made in our paperwork. Therefore, we had to pay penalties. Update: it is time for my first payment and they cannot tell me who I am supposed to pay! 8 havent received a letter from the finance company or anything and after telling them I have been calling for the weeks twice a day every day... Their advice is, call another greenway! I asked if another greenway has my file and knows who my finance company is to which the receptionist puts me on hold and hangs up on me.I am so upset that I am tied to this place for the next 4 years. Please be careful and read every single piece of paper they give you. They told me no credit checks but ran a hard check on my credit (actually 4 of them) which lowered my credit score... Then they messed up our paperwork and have yet to fix it despite me calling every single day to talk to them about it. (They added almost $5000 of warranties that I didnt agree to and told me that they would correct the paperwork) Would not suggest doing business with this company and I will never come back for another vehicle!

Our KIA had a recall so I called to make an appointment. The woman I spoke to was nice, helpful pulling up the information on our car and it only took a couple days to get the car in for repair. Thanksgiving week!!! I dropped the car off the night before since my appointment was at 7:30 AM, this was very easy, they even had a Pen in the drop box with the envelopes, which was helpful since all I could find was a crayon, lol. My car was repaired and ready for pickup before 11AM! When I picked the car up the guy in the service department was very nice as well and recognized my voice from our phone call earlier that morning, Plus he even had my car washed for me!!!! Awesome Service!! The car is running like a champ! Thank you all!!

Just a typical car dealership. Salesman was nice enough. Finance manager I suppose was his position was nice as well but typical low ball offer on trade. Just part of it. Dont understand why dealerships think they need to make 3 to 5k on everyone that comes in. They want you to pay over on the value of their vehicle and then offer you nothing for yours. Of course I left frustrated but I knew outcome pretty much before I got there. Just thought I would try. Lets keep them from making such huge profits. Sale our used cars to each other. Then they can only stick it to us on the purchase of there used vehicle.

Travis even gave me some Greenway sunglasses and promised me a discount on my next visit if I wore the glasses while teaching a class at Northwest Shoals Community College. I went in for an oil change and tire rotation.It was past due. The mechanic did all checks on my Kia Sportage found a few things that I may want to take of. Jarvis sent me an itemized estimate for normal maintenance on the car. I agreed He had the car ready at the time I needed. Sent some one to pick me up from work, so I could pick my car up. They washed my car inside and out. My car drives like a new one. I feel the service done on my Sportage was necessary for the health of my car. Jarvis made my experience at KIA a very good one .

My appointment time was 4PM. We dropped the car off at 3:55PM. The 2 gentlemen in the service department went over what the maintenence included and the cost. We left the dealership. I think that’s a little high. Our car is a year old and has 15,833 miles on it. We never had a problem with it staring. Our air compressors went out just before summer and y’all replied it at no charge.

The folks at Greenway were very responsive communicating via email - especially Jennifer; and great to work with at the dealership, particularly Mark and the gentlemen that drew up our contract and helped set up our phones with our Niro computer. Of all the dealerships i researched, this was the only one that had no dealer/document fees, and has the lowest tax in the state - great deal!

Christian Holmes and Dustin Martin are great! I came into shoals Kia in need of a new(er) vehicle that met all my expectations and needs with budgeted money. I bought my wife a 2015 Kia Optima last year. The salesmen were nice, they did their job. However, the part that blew me away and continues to do so is the service department at Shoals KIA. Jarvis Cummings has been great to my wife since day one with service on her vehicle. He is polite and answers any questions she may have. He keeps her car running in top condition which makes me happy seeing as she drives all over the state of Alabama for a living. If you are looking for a reliable, safe car... and you are looking long term, not just a good deal but a great service department to help you maintain your car... I highly suggest Jarvis Cummings and the service department team. Top notch.

The best New Car experience! I never expected to drive away from the dealership in the newest, fanciest vehicle Ive ever had the chance to own. Kasey Butler worked for me what I consider a small miracle. He helped me trade in a 99 Dodge caravan sport for a 2017 Chevy Cruze. Kudos to Kasey and a job well done.
