Awesome place to get all your needs. Cant wait to go back
Great local grocery store. Prices are a little more than the chains, but worth it thanks to the convenience, service, and the simple local feel.
Good products. Really understaffed. Cheese department flawlessly managed.
Nice place good quality food choices
Great market. They have everything and then some. They make a spectacular Panini. Nice people. I reccomend you stop by. Youll be glad you did.
5 banger all day long. Good selection of local good which I love. Little pricey but you get what you pay for.
Extremely convenient with over the top prices for quality foods.
Great little market with a large selection of wine and local cheeses. Friendly staff.
I really like this store, but the new manager Chris for some reason thinks it’s okay to walk around without wearing his mask over his face. What is with that? Not okay for other staff or customers.
Love this little market. Lots of local products.
Good service, good deli section
I would rate less than one star if I could.
Our favorite local market. They have everything youd want in a market. Points off for iffy expiration dates on meat and cheese.
Nice place many things to choose from
Great location, prices and very friendly staff
Loved the quality of the groceries there! Definitely will be back
Love this store when I need something quick and easy. They have amazing premade food too.
Great little store. The employees are very friendly.
I thank everyone at Shelburne Market for working to provide the rest of us a place to get supplies for our families. They are not as lucky as some of us to work from home and without them we may not have what we need at this time. I encourage others to shop local and support the gems in our communities that go out of their way for us. THANK U SHELBURNE MARKET for supporting us and being there for our communities.
Great deli
Every time I shop here, I swear I will never come back. It is profoundly overpriced and if the staff ever smiled I think I would fall over. They seem miserable.
As a tourist to the Burlington Vermont area, I was pleased with the selection of locally made cheeses. No, not as much selection as a dedicated cheese shop, but plenty enough choices to break the bank.
This place does a great job having a little bit of everything. Great for those whats for dinner shopping trips
They discontinued the Our House frozen Mac N’ Cheese dinners. Please bring back the mac!
Its alright but it seems that the more money you have the better you get treated.
Stopped selling my favorite product.I came to shelburne market often to purchase our house bistro mac and cheese, but they took it off the shelves. I hope you restock them soon
I like this place because its a small grocery store with a wide, interesting variety. It never feels too busy where you wouldnt want to shop there, its just right. There is a great selection of local products and organic items. There are frozen products from Mirabelles that are so delicious. They have what you need. This isnt the largest store so the selection on things like produce arent huge, but they have what you need and its quality products.
Great service, great prices.
Great local store, lots of charachter and good freshly made lunch options
A good spot to grab some quick items. They have some great cheeses, beers, and wines too. If the prices were better, Id shop here more often.
In & out in no time. Only had a old woman with a NY accent mouth off because i parked next to her. I told her to have a good day & went on my way to shop.
Affordable. Deli makes monster sandwiches.
Hated it
Get a sandwich or daily special from their deli. Or a super fresh salad at the salad bar. Its all I ever go there for but Ive yet to be disappointed. Worth every penny!
Excellent local market/grocery store. Nicely stocked, great deli & butcher, nice wine selection, cheeses etc.
Small gorcery store. Lots of stuff packed into a small space. Good deals on some things, others are overpriced. They have lots of local options which is nice. Always have a good experience here but not my main grocery store.
Deli. Isnt the best.... Could use a changover in the daily menu.
Love this little market that had everything you need and lots of great specialty items.
As a local, Im grateful for a grocery store that doesnt require a drive to Burlington. As traffic has increased on Route 7, Ive relied more on the Shelburne Supermarket. Do they have everything you might be looking for? No, but they have the staples, a great deli, a good selection of cheese and bread, and more.
Not too bad, a bit pricey but some quality products. The new owner may look angry but he is not. I initially thought this too but that was my own ignorance. Stop and say hi, ask a question or whatever, just intetact and you will find he is a VERY nice man with tons of information and will gladly help you anyway he can. He is also ALWAYS doing something for the store. Only reason not 5 stars is overall it is pretty pricey.
Went here while on vacation. Great selection for a small-town grocery store!
A somewhat upscale mid-sized market. Good wine selection. Front end staff on several visits were not very personable.
Excellent sandwiches and a great selection of quality local products and pre prepped meals. Id highly suggest testing them out!
I go here twice a week for deli!! Love loveLove YUMMY
Quality products, Quality location and very Quality staff!
Very pleased with their choices, especially the artisan breads and deli salads!
Very poor customer service. We are from new Hampshire. We came up to Burlington to take part in some festivities and on our way home we thought we would stop into your store for some local beer to take home . As we approached the checkout line we were met with a very rude cashier..we proceeded to have air beer ring up, one 4 pack would not ring up, so the women just made up her own price ( which ended up being $3 more than it should have been) and the women would ot make it right, even when another cashier instructed her she could do so. Long story short it is not about the money rather the poor service and rudeness is why we will take our business somewhere else in the future..
Nice market but seems everything is marked up. I only go when I really need to.
Small, local grocery store. Sometimes I stop on my way home from Burlington. I like the variety, but honestly there isnt much for generics so my bill always seems a lot higher here.
Best in town lots of great VT products. Great beer selection.
Small...old fashion with the country store feel..excellent meats..deli baked goods
A very well-stocked local supermarket with some creative selections. Every town should be so lucky.
Person at register more concerned about break and didnt even great us or help bag. Otherwise rhe food is great! Deli did good.
I go to this store often because I live right down the atreet from it. But its more than that. I often go their to make a salad for lunch and pick up a few small things if I need them and I dont feel like going out to the other two major stores on Shelburne rd. I really appreciate the small town feel. Yes, it is a bit more expensive than a regular grocery store, but the customer service is so much better. I always go their with my 3 year old son and get him one of the cookies in the baskets next to or on top of the salad bar if he is good. I didnt have him when I went by today and the lady ringing up my purchase asked about him. It just makes the experience better for a Georgian ( recently turned Vermonter) like myself from a really large town.
Great, old fashioned grocery store and extremely convenient if you live in Shelburne or North Ferrisburg
Good pre made food and fancy staples such as good cheese and baguettes. It has a new bulk section. Unfortunately the prices are expensive.
This market is well stocked, convenient, and with friendly staff in the deli area. The problem with this market is the culture of indifference that is displayed by the cashiers. Only a rare thank you for shopping, and usually just a shrug and on to the next customer. We have contacted the owner repeatedly about this, but nothing really ever seems to change. We shop here for somethings because of the convenience and the food selection - if another market was nearby with decent attitudes of the cashier staff, we would never spend a penny here. How unfortunate to put together such a great little market to only have it represented by cashier staff who could really care less. The owner should take a lesson from Healthy Living (or Hannafords for that matter!).
Love this place great produce wonderful friendly helpful staff
Small and homey but very expensive for my budget. Staff is nice and they have plenty of parking 👍
Great store great prices.
Over priced and not good variety of foods. Good for a quick item or two.
Convenience on my commute home from work is the only reason that Ill ever shop here because everything in this store is way more expensive than any other grocery store that Ive ever visited here in Chittenden County. If I didnt know better, Id swear that I was buying groceries at a Simons Convenience Store and not an actual grocery store because of their horrible, rampant, price gouging. Expense aside, they do have a great selection for a store of its size, and really good meat and great produce, too. Also, because of the stores diminutive size, its not nearly so frustrating running back a few aisles because I forgot one other item on my shopping list. I think that this would also be quite a plus with elderly and handicapped people versus navigating the vast expanse of Hannafords, Shaws, or Price Chopper, yet most elderly and disabled people are also on a fixed income and thus couldnt possibly afford to shop here so thats really too bad. I was also pleasantly surprised by their great selection of frozen veggies, too, especially now that Hannafords has drastically reduced their selection to make more retail space for prepackaged, frozen junk foods. As long as you dont mind spending way too much money for everyday staples, this is a good grocery store.
Nice cheese department. Delight to shop local artisans.
Excellent variety of both big brands and lots of local products. The staff is courteous and helpful.
Nothing special with the exception of the deli counter which is great.
Lots of Organic and local food. Great staff.
Love their deli, locally grown goodness. Daily lunch specials should not be missed.
Love the sandwiches there fresh meat
Great little super market.
Always shop here. This little shop is convenient and offers great premade foods and you can find things here that you cant find elsewhere
Very nice market
Are the prices a little bit high? Sure. Its a local supermarket it. But Shelburnes provides a good amount of product and some interesting local items at the connivence for the local. They are also surprisingly open a good amount of hours which is great to pop in and grab some milk or fresh bread. If you need some things, stop on in. Dont drive all the way to hannefords and help out the local guy.
An excellent independent supermarket /grocery store!
Not overly welcoming
Hostile takeover by management from original owners. I wont patronize vultures.
Good selection of specialty items.
Nice shopping experience
Terrible customer service. If you dont want to interact with people dont be in the business.
The cashiers are the worst. Some of them are such lazy, miserable trolls. They are the worst part of having to buy groceries in this store. Even worse than the high prices.
The more the Super Markets around me get larger the more I am attracted to a small store that carries a lot of local foods.
Pricier under the out of state owners and not as customer friendly except for the deli where MJ and Dave deliver great meals!
Good for fresh, quality food
Great place to shop...
Nice, small shop.
Love this store.
Nice store!
