Today, I went into the store to return an Amazon purchase. Email from Amazon specifically said that UPS would pack and ship the item, at no cost to me, since I am a Prime member. HOWEVER, upon arriving to the store, the cashier put the shipping label on the plastic bag that I had brought the item in. When I questioned if she was going to pack it (so it arrived intact) she instructed me to buy a box! This is the FOURTH time this has happened and its always the same female cashier who says it. This store is ROBBING customers by instructing them to buy (extremely overpriced) boxes for Amazon returns that are meant to be 100% FREE. If this happens to you, once you have your drop off receipt, just walk out and contact Amazon. Its on them if it doesnt arrive intact.
Beautiful inside, nice folks. Problem is it’s in the middle of Bumf Egypt. If your hiding from the law this is a great area; out of the way, economically depressed...... You may wish to carry a weapon if after dark. 😁 I won’t be back.

Got the rudest lady ever today. Never been treated that way here. If thats who they are hiring they are in trouble.

Wonderful store! Great employees! Always friendly!! Fast turn around on products!!! Absolutely love the banners!! Notary Service is very convenient!! They always accept my prepaid UPS returns! Open 8am - 6pm so the hours are convenient!! Even opened on Saturdays!! Great print qualities!! Great prices!! Very effecicent staff!!! I go there for all my printing and shipping needs!!
Every time I visit the UPS Store in Shelby all of my needs are taken care of with excellent customer service. Whatever I need, whether its packaging, shipping, or printing, is perfect. I recently got a banner created and the quality was great!

The Notary has her own schedule. On the website it says Notary on your schedule but its really only on her schedule! Need one there until close!
Had to return a package- service was quick and easy. I had no issues, there were two people working and the facility was very clean and orderly.

Useless and incompetent. From dealing with someone who insisted a package under 2 lb would be over 300 dollars shipping to South Africa on the cheapest fare, to being told they cannot ship packages to addresses that have a UPS account that pays the shipping on the recipient end. Depending on who you get on any given day, they also will not accept prepaid shipping labels for something as simple as an Amazon return. For that you are directed to the UPS hub thats only open from 3:30 to 6:30 business days. At least that location is competent. Avoid this store and go to Gastonia, or the distribution Customer Center on county home road. Just get there between customer hours... 3:30 to 6:30.
Waited in line over a hour to get one paper notarize all while the notary played on a computer making a banner and two other workers watched...
I went to the store in shelby and the lady that printed up the add lables told me wrong. She also was short & very brief. Not friendly at all !
On march 5 I took my working laptop to this store... when I walked into the store they seemed very friendly but after abut 10 min in their I decided that that was not such a nice place to be that I should have took my business elsewhere but I didnt... I then had asked the worker if he could tape up my box and he replied yes then got into a big confrontation with me when he decided he was going to walk away with a 800.00 laptop laying on the scale in an open box and I asked him if he was going to tape it up for me and then he replied that he didnt like to be integrated while he did his job then replied sir I asked you to tape up my box so that is the job your suppose to do, he then proceeded to go on to the back carrying 2 other boxes and kicking one across the floor as he went, and my box still sitting their open I public view... when he came back to the front he had a tape gun in his hand and proceeded to tape up my box slamming the tape down and running it across my box 3 times he then looked up at me and said you see that tape over their and I replied yes sir he then said well next time you come into this store be prepared to buy your own tape because I will not tape up another box for you.... he then picked up my box and headed to the back of the store mumbling something under his breath and I said sir your only suppose to be doing your job.... he then went into the middle of the back of the store where he could see me out the door and watched me as I walked out, when I turned around he was waving bye to in a very immature way... a few days later I received an email from direct tv where I sent my computer to have a virus removed and to be updated saying that they could not fix nor replace my laptop because of internal screen damage!!!!! I then was concerned on how the computer got damaged considering it was in a cellophane laptop box that the laptop was strapped down so tight their is no way that it could move.... I then called dtv and talked to them and they said because it was damaged before it got to them, and that the box that I shipped it in was not damaged when they received it... I then contacted the corporate office of the ups store and am having very long discussions with them...I went today and talked to the store manager about the incident of my computer screen being smashed in the store by the worker whom I had a confrontation with before I left and she said that she hadnt even heard anything about it happening.... and just so everyone knows the owner of this store is JIM KERNICKY which I am assuming the person who made the very first good review is a son..... and just so everyone knows Jim did email the corporate office back saying that I was lying that my computer didnt get damaged in the store that it was damaged while in transit... I have a picture of my computer screen before I packaged it up and took it in the store of which I have emailed to the manager.... oh and by the way this is posted by the wife...... the one who was dealing with the shipping....
Terriable I would rather not even have to deal with them. The supervisor is very disrespectful and unprofessional. They will take your package and wont even knock at the door. This makes the 2nd time Ive had to deal with this no other carrier does this but UPS
Great service EVERY TIME
Every time I have used this store I have received A-1 service. Dont know what Josh Day was ranting about. Every time I have shipped something via UPS it was on prepaid labels sent to me from my company. Will use them before the USPS
