Nice store for convenient shopping. There are some savings on some items although one must play the receipt discount game to really save very much. Store is decently clean inside and its sometimes hard to find stocked items even with employee assistance.

Friendly staff, always clean and organized. Please be kind to the cashiers, theyre doing their best to handle a high volume of customers at an given time.. they always give great customer service, its only fair that we treat them with respect and at the very least, a smile....no I do not work there, Ive just witnessed very rude, highly impatient customers.

I love this place they have all the stuff I need from grociers to cleaning supplies

Some of the cashiers are slower than normal so the lines can get pretty long. I went in there for fall decour last week and they had nothing but Christmas out which was also kind of annoying but I can typically find all my last min grocery or home good ideas no problem!

A great place for a short shopping list. They may not have everything the big box stores have but they always seem to have what I need. The prices are fair, and for the best deal I usually get the store brand and save 10-30% over name brand. The staff are friendly and competent, making checking out a breeze.

Clean, Organized and staff were courteous.

Can always find a few bargains here and save on some of our groceries ...

It was the most unorganized store Ive ever been in. I had no idea where anything was.

Items wanted were in stock at great prices.

The people that work there are very nice and take care of their customers.

Some things are hard to find, but great prices.

Easy in easy out for the shopping. Clean organized and good prices. And unlike Walmart if it gets real busy they open up another registered to help get people out.

They open early and close late compared to all the other sores here lately so I got to give them credit.

You can get in and out quickly. They have great bargains. The only thing they didnt have a complete selection of was hot dog buns. But it was Fathers day.

I havent had good experiences with the Main St location. I have never been able to get my digital coupons to work and the staff is completely unhelpful. They have great sales but without the necessary coupon, whats the point?

Half is like most General Dollar stores and the other half is like a small grocery store. Lots of produce, frozen foods, fresh meat, dairy products, staple foods, and more for reasonable prices. Many item cheaper than big chain stores.

Employees always very thoughtful and kind. Our store here in Shelbyville Tennessee is normally busy when I get off work but if need be they always try their best to get another register up and running... Just wished we had a bit larger choice of food products...

Depend on finding the products you know they carry at good prices and finding stores near you.

Granted that the products here arent top of the line by any means however its a great place to pick up the needed things for the household such as cleaning supplies and toiletries on the cheap. They could use a extra cashier as the wait to check out can sometimes take forever but other than that I dont have any complaints at all.

Most employees have great customer service qualities, but there is ONE cashier who acts as if her job is a big inconvenience. If so shes in the wrong place!! Regardless if that customer is doing the most, you still bite the pillow and greet them with a smile REGARDLESS

They had a outside of the aisle, a section that said half price. When I got to checkout it wasnt half price. The girl said no it was Clover brand that was half price. I told her they need to move them from there because its misleading. Otherwise everything else was good.

Its normally fast and stocked well and the staff is normally always willing too help

OK as an alternate to the Walmart, which I dont patronize. Dollar Generals merchandise has consistently been improving in quality. Im impressed and enjoy their discount section of markdowns!

Stopped to pick up a few things on my way home. Wait was a little long but clerks are very helpful and friendly.

Its easy to get to and if in a rush can always it in no time at all. Seems to have want I need. At a price I can afford. Thank you. I really appreciate having a convent place to shop.

For a Dollar General Market, this location has a good selection and is clean. I always encounter long lines, which is not necessarily the managements fault, but for a larger-sized Dollar General, youd expect that usually more than one cashier station would be open.

The store in Shelbyville on Main Street is so dirty. The floors had black Grime everywhere dont know when the last time they mopped the floors or swept the floor. I couldnt even buy anything in that store. I would never buy food there. I cant imagine what the bathrooms would have been like. I would never recommend anybody to go there and I well never go there again so disappointed. The store needs a remake. I hope they clean it up it is no way to run a business. I did not talk to the staff they seem to be friendly though with smiles.

If youre going to have a market, make sure you have fresh product and not flies.

I mean, its a low end Walmart. Theres nothing great about it, but you can get basic household needs and groceries.
