We engaged ADT to install a system in a new home and were very pleased with their responsiveness and with the team that did the installation. Knowledgeable, efficient, thorough and courteous. They would not leave until we felt comfortable with the system. We could not be more grateful.
I am fully satisfied with the ADT security systems. Their technicians are fully knowledgeable about the systems and help you understand the functioning of the same.I would highly recommend Thai service to others.
We are new to ADT. Installation went well and the guy was nice.However, soon after installation the same day, the ADT bell with camera started ringing for no reason any day of the day and night.We called and had an appointment for the day after - we received a confirmation by email but no one showed up. When we called, we were told they could not see any appointment!We were told we would be called back, and of course, no one called so we did.We spoke with a sales rep who answered who said he could not help because he was not a tech but that someone would call us.We are still waiting and it’s been 48h that we have that bell that rings for no reason! I guess we will be taking care of it ourselves.Really poor customer service and I regret to have chosen ADT for that reason.
Customer Service Is Everything. Although I have only had service with ADT for three months. Any issues I had, the reps were friendly and resolved my issues. Prior to having ADT I had Standard Security and I am still dealing with issues, they continue to charge me for services they not providing. I hope this great service will remain the same through out the years I plan on having my service.
The actual installation was perfect. I am just upset that it took three months to get it accomplished. No work was previously done due to the scope and I had to wait three months and three individual visits. Every time I was on the phone with ADT, I was transferred around and sent to voice mailboxes that were full. No one would get back to me and some people I spoke with suggested that I did not pay for the service, which I did three months ago. The initial salesman, his supervisor, and everyone I spoke with at ADT failed me and gave me the runaround. I did not even know about the re-scheduled appointment until I saw an email. Then I received a call moving the date the June 21st. The project is finally done. I am very disappointed with ADTs runaround.
Terrible service! Mad 6 appointments and 4 times they did not show or call, left my second business phone line disconnected and the alarm still mot functioning properly, we have to now wait another week for a tech to come out, and this if they show up!!
Wonderful company and great EMPLOYEE. Especially when am 69 years young and am able to work the system with confidence.
Worst place ever dealt with. Contractors installed and nothing but problems. Adriana I spoke with is so passive about it as well. She didn’t care. Cancelled my contract and went with Standard Security. No regrets.
ADT is awful! You cant get through to them in a timely manner and when you finally do they are rude and just dont seem to care. Their service department is terrible. I needed a simple CO2 sensor replaced. This took 90+ days to happen. The first two times they called me the day before the scheduled appointment to say they needed to reschedule. The third time they didnt bother to show up! No call, no nothing. Unbelievable. These people are complete amateurs. The only reason we kept out service with them is because they offered us $16.99 monthly service for life. If youre a current ADT customer I highly suggest complaining if you have bad service which you might encounter so you can get the same rates. Otherwise go to Slomins
I had an install on February 18, 2021. I ordered the Complete Package which includes a door smart lock. The tech comes out on time and installs the alarm system. Around hour 3 he tells me that he is waiting for the locksmith to come out and and in stall my door lock. (Typically ADT sends a locksmith with their tech for these types of installs)The tech waited for another hour and then called into his office located in Shelton, CT and was told there was never a locksmith assigned to this job. They told the tech to go ahead and leave and they will contact the client (Me) in an hour or two to schedule a time for the locksmith to come out and install their lock.That call never happened. I waited a day and reached back out to the customer care line and after 32 minutes on the phone I was essentially told the same thing. Someone from the Shelton, CT office would be calling me in a day or so to schedule the install of the lock. No one ever called.Today is 8 days since the install and I have had to call ADT 7 times and never getting any real results. Empathy, and apologetic sure but no action has been taken. I still have an uninstalled lock and no response from ADT on a resolution. I will be removing their system and working with a different company that actually will not only sell you the product, but will install them too!I dont work for ADT and I shouldnt have to make numerous calls and dedicate hours of my time to get them to do what they promised and actually allow me to use what they sold me.There is something to be said for corporations getting too big to be concerned about little things. ADT has lost me and any recommendation I may have given because they didnt care enough to make sure they delivered on what they promised.

Demand that installed the system he was very good and he also replaced the batteries he put new ones on and he took the old ones off he did a very very good job I would recommend ADT to anyone over Comcast
Eric and David were hands down incredible!!!! Installed the equipment and then actually gave me all the time in the world to ask my stupid questions about how to operate it from my phone!!! Neither of them pushed to leave my home they gave me all the time in the world and plus some. Michael our sales rep was just as qualified !!!! Highly recommend!!!

I had a terrible experience with ADT. After buying the equipment and having it installed and continuing to pay monthly service charges for several years; I had a dispute with the final two months of the contract and a cancellation fee i was all of a sudden being told I owed.I was told that any cancellation fee was going to be wiped away when I had a new tenant sign up to take over the ADT account. I clearing remember the cancellation fee coming up and the discussion.We made the transfer and the billing was put in the tenants name. It appears they never made the transfer and the account stayed on my credit because they failed to have her sign a new contract.Thank God I had a good tenant and the bill was paid each month. They told me that they would look into the cancellation fee by reviewing the phone calls they had with me, and my tenant. I helped my tenant set up the new account so there were multiple calls. I clearly remember being told that any cancellation fee would be wiped away because I was giving them a new client.So I received a call back two days later saying they reviewed the calls and in deed I was responsible for the cancellation fee. I asked if I could get a transcript of the calls because it was clear in my mind that was not what I was told and I had actually helped set up my tenants news account. I was told the only way I could get a copy of the call was to get a court order.Seriously, I was an excellent customer, paying thousands of dollars in equipment and monthly service charges. I was also planning on telling the new home buyers about the services because the all the equipment was all installed. So basically for $212.00 they said, nope you owe us the money!I hope it was worth it for them. I would never recommend this company. There are so many less expensive security options and technology these days. It was really shocking to me that they would not provide a transcript if they recorded the call so that I could understand how I could have misunderstood my part in the dispute.To say you need to get a court order to hear your own conversation with the company to determine you own understanding of a conversation was beyond shocking to me. Buyer beware! I would never recommend this service to anyone. I never write reviews, but felt it important to warn other consumers.
If I could rate this organization 0 stars I would. Pre sale they could not be more responsive and helpful. Since the initial installation it is like I am dealing with a totally different company. 40 minute phone calls spent a majority on hold is the normal. Technicians telling my family that we were ripped off by the initial installer, and equipment that just does not work.Absolute joke! Avoid at all costs.

The Service was outstanding. Service person was friendly with 30 years experience. Was not, uptight, good people skills. Monthly cost was a little high. I think in light of corona virus. Product is good, monthly a little lower. People are struggling.

I have had nothing but problems with ADT. Their service is horrible. I get calls nearly every night with false alarms. It took 8 days to get a service appointment and it made the situation worse. While I’m writing this, I just got another false alarm call.
Be cautious of them giving you any “free upgrades” or “credits towards equipment”. ADT uses other security companies that they bought to sell ADT equipment and there is no accountability for them from the real company. When I called for more information on the security system they insisted on sending someone to my house to talk to me. I told them that I really wasn’t ready to decide and the rep that came ended up adding more and more “free” stuff on to my purchase until I said yes. ADT scammed me out of outdoor cameras and charged me for the install of them even though I never got them. The rep told me he would reschedule an electrician to install my cameras and when I called back because I never heard anything they told me that rep was fired and they can’t do anything about it. Customer service basically told me I was lying but I told them if the rep in my house said he would schedule the camera install but he got fired there’s no way I would know that....If the reps for their company are promising things to customers they can’t that isn’t my fault.

Horrible. They took our money and no one showed up to install service.on the scheduled date. Then after hours on the phone, I am still waiting for my money back . They said( they can’t send an email stating I am getting my money back) ????😳
I dont even know where to begin with this review. Weve had nothing but issues with this company for 4 + years and still we stay loyal. We had the companys CCTV camera system at our house because the ADT pulse cameras were installed first and were were absolutely terrible! We were moving so we contacted customer support and told them that we needed the cameras removed and installed in the new house with our continued ADT service. We were told that that is NOT a service they provide and would not take down the cameras for us (even if we paid the labor to remove/reinstall, but stated to get an electrician or remove ourselves). After going back and forth for hours about how thats not what was stated when we bought the cctv system, they continuously told us that their new and improved Pulse cameras were all all the company provides now and that theyll do the trick! We knew we were lied to but we need cameras so we went against our better judgement. After the install of the new and improved pulse system, the very first night, we could NOT see anything in our cameras as soon as the sun went down. Even with the infared lighting. Customer support suggested that WE install flood lights near the cameras so they pick up motion! Isnt that why you sold us INFARED cameras?- to pick up motion in the dark!?.. After arguing with them for more hours at end, a tech came out and confirmed that the infared sensors were working properly and that the system is just garbage. At this time we found out that ADT DOES indeed still have CCTV systems they install and that the sales and service support are scripted to push PULSE products even if its steering customers in the wrong direction or straight up lying to them to make sales! We are still within the 60 day contract guarantee but have yet to have ADT resolve this issue one bit. Weve told them to come remove their equipment and close the contract because we no longer want to be customers, however, we were promised that theyd make good and give us the cctv system we originally had and was lied to about for the new home.. yet, we are 3 weeks into continuous emails and calls to our local branch in Shelton CT and have the issue brought to Adrianna, Carol, and was said that the issue was brought to the local GM Kevin, for authorization. (thats going on 2weeks of no communication).. after continuous lies, and broken promises- we have now filed with BBB and Connecticut consumer protection. Im not sure how a security company can sell falsely advertised equipment, lie, and not even care that they are leaving families unsafe for 3 weeks of no cameras and still expect to be paid for them?! You should be ashamed, and Im sure well be needing to file for a civil suit due to even the GM knowing of the issues at hand and not having the decency to help a family when his company was in the wrong!!
ZERO STAR. What a SCAM!!! Find another company because they sold me defective products. I filed with the better business bureau to get my issue resolved. Worst service ever. I was fined over $900 because the alarm kept going off. They promised to reimburse me and they LIED! The crazy part is they keep coming over to sell me new products. I will never ever use this company again. BIG MISTAKE!
