I just bought a used Honda car from Gillis. The car was basically new with 2700 miles. I was skeptic because the price was so low and cargurus told me to be aware. Upon arrival, I was super impressed by Frank who was zero pressure! As a mom with 2 young daughters in tow, many dealerships treated me less than and had lied to make a sale. Not Frank. He was respectful and did not treat me differently because of my gender. He was wonderful. But, he also told me that the car was infact, advertised incorrectly. Under invoice pricing, by a long shot. The carfax and manufacturer information proved the car to be 100% perfect and visually, it was very obvious, yet Gillis honored their mistake and still gave me the advertised price. $5000 off suggested retail. I got a great interest rate and all throughout the transaction, all involved were extremely transparent. I will tell everyone, to take the drive to Gillis. It was an amazing experience and I dont think I left any money on the table. Im sure they made money somewhere in the deal, but I definitely know that after 9 months of looking, no one in the PNW came close to the price I got at Gillis!

I went to Gillis Auto Center to get my oil change in my car and to look at a few trucks. The service there was sub par on the service and sales side. My best experience in the place was with the cashier/receptionist named Stephanie she was so helpful and had great customer service. I would go back just to work with Stephanie again!

Always get what I need when I come here

I have been bringing my vehicles to Gillis since 2012.. with mostly no complaints. Recently I brought my Dodge Durango in for an oil change, brought it home and the check engine light was on so brought it right back in. They told me it was an emissions thing, so I told them to go ahead with the repair. I had driven it about 60 miles before I turned it on to go pick up my son and it sounded like bolts going through a blender. My friend discovered a hole in the block. We called Gillis to ask about it and the mechanic seemed worried/panicked because it is a hemi with less than 120k miles on it and no reason for something to blow a hole through the block. He told us to bring it in so they could check it out, and replace the engine if they were at fault. The service manager (who I have never met before) got involved and said that there was no way that they could have dropped anything into the engine while doing the repairs, and that even if they pulled out the pan, and found something, there would be no way to prove they did anything wrong.Really disappointed that they wouldnt even admit it could be their fault. Ive taken the vehicle there for every tune up and oil change for 3+ years..I will not be bringing them any more business.If give it zero stars if I could.

Excellent service. I was very nervous to buy a vehicle across the state. I live in Spokane but I was able to find a rare example of a Ford Fiesta ST at this dealership. I decided to email the dealership to feel it out and see if I wanted to give them my service. Long story short Nick the sales manager was so helpful, I got all my ducks in a row and made the drive over. When I got there Frank was my salesman and he was so great he let me examine the vehicle for about 20 minutes before he came out to see if I wanted to drive it. The forever warranty added extra security to the reliability of the vehicle because it not only has to pass the dealers standards but the third partys standards as well. We ended up purchasing the vehicle and driving it back the same day and I am so happy with the service I received and the vehicle I purchased 3 weeks ago. One more thing. Whoever did the detail on this car needs a raise. The interior is spotless to this day and the paint looks amazing. Thank you Frank, Nick, and the rest of the team for making a usually stressful event have nearly no stress.

Gentleman offered me a ignition pin number for free, told me that he usually charged for the information. Since the number didnt work I was a bit perturbed. I wasted my time and gas driving to the dealership. Next time I will try somewhere else.

The customer service was the worst Ive seen in awhile. They told me one price and it ended up being 100 over what they said. I had 2 keys made and it took 2 hrs . I made appt and they had nothing in computers about it. I was expecting better and more organized service.

Yesterday I bought my first car from the Shelton Ford Gillis dealership. I have to say from the first phone call I made to Frank the weekend before to the amazing salesman, Randy. I am not the easiest to deal with when finding what I need and sticking to it. The experience I had I would recommend to all new buyers to go to Randy. He was honest, knowledgeable and factual. I never felt like I was being fooled so he could make more money. He understood my situation better then I did and found me the perfect first family car. I took it home and thats when reality hit, I just bought a new car! He was there through the anxiety and stress. Thanks to him he helped me realize what I was doing was a good thing. Did very well at getting my 2001 Dodge Dakota a new windshield and sealed up so I no longer hear wind blowing through the cab. Kept me updated and let me know when parts needed to be ordered for one of the things I wanted done. Lloyd is great! I appreciate working with him when I take my vehicles in.

I was previously an avid GM fan and had been for years. With the switch to Government Motors I decided it was time to give the last true privately held (non government/union owned) US automaker a shot to earn my trust. Gillis proved more than worthy to accomplish this. I would buy again from them and greatly appreciated my buying experience. They did everything they said they would and never once pressured me to change my mind on anything. It was a short time from arrival with my trade in to the time I drove away with my new Ford Mustang. After the sale I had a small issue with minor damage to the oil fill cap and the wire harness to one of the fuel injectors.I knew it was not a warranty issue but on a follow up call from Gillis I mentioned what had happened. The GSM called me back and told me the dealer principal had arranged for me to take the car in for repairs at no cost. I was very very impressed. They definitely earned my trust and my business. In such a profit driven world heavily laden with greed I was impressed and refreshed that there are companies like Gillis that truly care about their customers and display it by their genuine display of generosity and care!

Have not purchased a vehicle at Gillis, but my line of work allows me to interact with the staff there quite often, and having been there at least a couple hundred times, Id say I know them well enough to describe them as a professional, courteous and knowledgeable bunch... Not only on the vehicles they sell, but especially on the ones being serviced there. At some other repair shops across town, its very common to see vehicles going back 2 to 3 times with the same problem, due to either being misdiagnosed or the repairs have not quite fix the problem. Not so at Gillis, and Id say that despite the fact that Dealers may have a higher hourly rate, when considering the repairs are done right the first time, one must surmise the repair cost will ultimately be less if one takes it to the dealer.

We took the work Truck in for a recall issue (something we had tried to get fixed in Aberdeen for YEARS, but they never had the part) Gillis was able to get us in within a couple of days. Very friendly. Very helpful. Would definitely take the truck here again

I was traveling through the area, in from Chicago. Had a minor issue with my car and stopped in for advice. Fred came out to assist. Said the issue was minor and will fix on the spot. Quick, friendly, professional service!

I would give a 0 if I could I had a 10:00 appointment to do a safety recall was told they would need the vehicle for 2 hours called after 2 1/2 hours to see if done they said it would be done by 1:00 got there at 1:30 was told they hadnt even started the work on it they could not or would not explain why it wasnt done. In my opinion this is very irresponsible and unprofessional. I have shared this on Facebook and I will tell everyone I know about my experience there and I WILL NOT GO BACK!!!!!
