Looked for sakura solid markers.showed in stock online at sherman store.associate had no idea what I was looking for.they never even tried to look.but there conversation about the new iPhone took priority.first and last visit.i was warned but went in anyway.not looking to single anyone out.just learned a good lesson.No Customer Service at JOANNS.

I adore this place. Even when I forget my phone that holds my coupons (which I often do) they are always helpful and have some ready to use. Best place for not only crafting supplies, but household decorations and holiday decor.

I love that they always offer in-store sales and the associates are always helpful. I appreciate all the girls at checkout who help me scan coupons on my phone. I made a terrific haul with sale prices on crystals and diy jewelry findings. Then at check out I watched my coupons discount me saving over $60 and my cost was even less than what I saved.

Sloppy, uninterested employees who seem like they dont want to be there...decent for fabric, but their website is friendly and useful!

They have a great selection but if your trying to get in and out of the store quick you might as well forget it. They are by no means understaffed there is always at-least 4-5 employees at a time there but they leave one to check out and the line grows horribly long. The other employees will just sit and watch one person have 5-7 people in line and do nothing to help. I’m taking my money across the Highway to hobby lobby where there’s multiple cashiers checking people out.

The only reason why its 4 stars and not 5 is because everytime I find a yarn I really like thats only sold by JOANNs they stop carrying it. I wish the Sherman location had a larger variety of yarns as well as other supplies.

Theres SO much in this store! I think I walked around for about a half an hour, just looking at things! Found some great yarn & bamboo circular needles, very excited to start a new project asap. Left with a lot of great ideas for tons of new projects!

I had a great experience here. The associate I spoke with over the phone gave me good reason to feel it would be worth my time to drive to their store. After arriving, she spent time with me helping me choose what would be best to get for my craft. This is a great store with excellent associates!

Only been here once, but they were great. I found something in the clearance bin with no tag, they were really great about getting the price sorted. The store was very clean.

The staff is not the best here, and they always seem short handed. Even before the pandemic there was never anyone around to check you out or cut your fabric. Prices are high compared to other stores.

Went with my daughter and her family to buy fabric for recovering her dinette cushions. Found a good price for fabricAnd nice fabric, needles and thread heavy duty to match. The fabric was on Sale half price. They also purchased some foam for the cushions to make them more comfortable with the savings on the cost of the fabric.

This Joann’s is great! They are clean and organized! The cutting counter is always friendly and helpful! Their fabrics are beautiful and such an array to choose from. Definitely one of the better Joann’s I have been to!

You can find almost anything for crafts, gifts, and sewing! I love shopping here, but dont like the way they do coupons. You have to read all the fine print, and theres too many exclusions!

I love this store. I make some of my own jewelry and I come here for all my supplies. Beyond that, they have home decor, fabric, and many ways to learn new things to make. I highly recomend this store.

This is a great place for sewing and crafts,but like all these stores beware of prices. Some items were just ridiculously priced. I will go looking for bargains and then its great prices.

I went to the one in sherman tx today, and i’m so glad i did. everyone was extremely nice and helpful particularly a young woman by the name of baylee i believe! the store was very clean and organized and she helped me find everything i was looking for helping me get out of there in no time!!😊 awesome experience

This Jo Anns location was well stocked, clean and bright. I love all of the displays and inspiration throughout the store. Its especially helpful when they give directions and examples of how to complete the projects. Sales and regular prices were clearly marked and there was plenty of stock on hand for sale items.

This store has friendly staff. Things are grouped nicely. Im not a big crafter nor do I craft very often. I was able to find what I needed. I had to improvise on a couple of things BUT that part of making things by hand. They also provide a Veterans discount!

Weve never been here. But I couldnt wait for hobby lobby to open tomorrow. We were very pleased. They are so organized. Clean. Associates on the floor ready to help, picking up anything out of place and so pleasant. After years of going to hobby lobby i really think we may be making a change. This store is 100% for real Crafters more so than decorations as well.

Although I like the store (seem more expensive than Hobby Lobby to me) the staff always seems disinterested in the customers almost to the point of being dismissive of them/us/me. Last time I was in, the employee cutting the fabric called for help. Two employees walked right by. I saw them a few minutes later hidden in another area talking and doing nothing. Seems like most employees stand around and dont work. Not all of them jyst the younger ones.

This place has a huge selection, but its just so danged expensive. Now full disclosure, I dont frequent fabric stores, so maybe it all costs as much as a small pony no matter where you go, but even the clearance items at Joann seemed exorbitant to me. I mean, where do the sweatshops run by adolescents in China get their fabrics? Cuz theres no way theyre turning a profit at $8.99 a yard, which was what I paid for my clearance fabric of which I required three yards, no matter how hard they work those poor kids. Maybe Im cheap, but cmon, $30 for a pair of pants, some assembly required is just too rich for my blood.

My wife loves this place. I just follow her around like a lost dog, but thats OK.

Our store has everything! If they dont have it, they know where to get it. I have shopped for everything from Fabrics, to charms, to kids paint. I have never been disappointed in our store. and the customer service is always friendly and genuinely excited that we are there.

I love Joanna. They have a great selection with multiple coupons and sales. Also, they have an electric cart for handicapped use----which my friend and many senior citizens cannot shop without.

Joanns apart from hobby lobby is my wifes favorite crafting store their sales rival hobbys and the staff is always knowledgeable. She could get lost in this store (in a good way.)

They have great craft equipment like glue guns etc great customer serviceand a safe kind environment I went there for my wife asked the employee what isle the product I needed was own and he took his time and walked me to it and gave good advice on which one worked for me

Prices are inflated to make sales look appealing, the wait time in the checkout line is always ridiculous (as they normally keep only one cashier up front) and they wont accept manufacturers coupons.Ive been searching for limited edition purple Ball jars and this location has them. I also have a coupon that I received directly from Ball Canning for a free case of jars. However, the cashier and manager at JoAnns wouldnt work with me and input the coupon. You can bet Ill look elsewhere for my crafting needs from now on.

I had some amazing Coupons I couldnt use because the store will not let my app open. I budgeted for exactly what I need and would have had to pay full price. The physical coupons I had from your mailer. Ended yesterday then started back tomorrow.So I needed my phone coupons.Since Joanns opened in Sherman the metal has always blocked the signal. Sometimes it will work by the front door.....but not today when I needed it most!😢 I am a Costumer for a dance studio. I buy a lot of fabric and trims from Joanns. Now I will start driving out of my way for what I need.

Found everything I needed. Checkout was a breeze. Store is well organized. Prices are higher than Walmart but then again its well worth it because you dont have to deal with the extreme crowd condition that afflicts Walmart

Worst shopping experience ever. 2 employees harassed me while shopping there. Chimene and Dominique were working tonight. were disrespectful and verbally abusive. They were angry because because my granddaughter was bouncing a rubber bouncy ball in the fabric section. They refused to cut my fabric. Chimene then reached across the counter and hit the ball aggressively across the store floor. Both of them tried to Intimidate me by starring aggressively at me. I left the store, which was filthy and unkept. Beware shoppers at Joann’s in Sherman TX.

They dont always have what I need at the prices I need them for. But I will say this. Their customer service is above and beyond at all times! If ever I have any problem I write, they fix immediately. Always love their seasonal stuff too!!!

Good fabric store BUT WHEELCHAIR ACCESSIBLE IS HARD. If you hit the concrete entrance even the wheels dont want to go over and could cause harm. PLUS THE AISLE ARE NARROW MAKING IT HARD TO GET AROUND WHILE SHOPPING.

Some staff are clueless, other unbelievably helpful. Prices are pretty good, but in general it is hard to know what youre dealing with when you enter. Know what you are doing because like big box home improvement stores, you cannot trust in the advice of those assisting you.
