Visiting family and we needed an adventure. We caught the book sale at this location. Clever selection of inventory for all ages. The store is clean and well organized. This store does a good job of displaying various authors at eye level to generate interest. I picked up this book by Suzanna Goldring and loved the light read. We also bought science and childrens books as well as a coffee cup. Im told they order quite a bit for students so consider this a hidden treasure in Sherman. Pop in while waiting to attend the movie theater next door.

Workers are always polite, kind and helpful. I can normally find the books I am after.

I’m not sure this place actually cares about providing a clean store for its customers. My coffee spilled and was only given 3 napkins. Employee walked by several time and did not car I had coffee all over. Tables are not level and move around. Be sure to wash your hands before and especially after your visit. Floor looks as if it hasn’t been cleaned since day 1.....

U could probably find any book u wanted in here if not then it could probably be ordered. The coffee shop in this book store JOE MUGGS....I LOVE!!

While I now read books on my tablet, this place is great for buying books for someone else. In addition, they’ve got a lot of creative gift ideas. It’s a fun and interesting place to go into.

The atmosphere when entering is awesome. Just feels really comfortable. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable. But the coffee area was dirty and did not match rest of store. How that is not the normal.

Always love coming to this store... little disappointed that they have gotten rid of the sports and outdoor section and mixed what was there between two other sections so it will force me to purchase them online... which means I wont be coming into the store near as often. We are a rural area...we hunt...hope they reconsider.

Love this book store! They are over an hour away from me, but worth the trip. The staff are very customer service oriented. I have ordered some books that were not in stock from their website, took longer than expected, but did arrive.

It was a great store! But with it had some more book categories.

This is my favorite place in all of Denison/Sherman. I can always find a book in interested in here and they have lots of varieties from Christain Fiction to Horror to Manga. Plus, theres always some kind of buy 3 get 1 free deal or clearance going on. Theres a little, open café left of the entrance that you can sit in and order things from but service is slow. I think its because the cashiers run the café and when theyre busy its not their fault but it can be annoying. Though, some books can lean to the slightly expensive side, its worth it. Books-A-Million beats all other bookstores and is definitely better than ordering a novel off of the internet.

I love the fact that thares a coffee shop inside, the staff is very nice. The books rang from kids bed time storys to romantic adult books. Theres also cool things to buy, like harry potter stuff and toys like collectibles. Theres so much to offer here. Please go you dont want to miss out on this amazing place.

Great selection of materials. Fabulous and helpful staff.

The store was messy and you could not find anyone to help you. Upon checkout, the person in front of us paid with $100 bill. The clerk ran the bill through a machine to authenticate it and then still had to call a manager to approve her taking the bill. After waiting for several minutes, she moved to another register so she could check us out. The manager still hadnt showed up by the time we left the store.

Absolutely love love love this store! Super friendly sales people and its always clean. I do wish the cafe was open but I understand why its closed. This is one of our favorite stores to go to!

They dont want to be bothered with helping customers and pride themselves in making them wait necessarily.

No seating to speak of in bookstores anymore, and the staff is nice, but a tad slow. We like to hang out and read while deciding what to buy.

BOOKS, D&D helpful people even if they didnt work there they treated everyone really awesome I loved going for my books and to meet friends, even my grandfather likes it, needed out with my cashier about D&D and I was perfect

I dont remember the employees name, but he did an amazing job helping me with a book. They did not sell it in store but it was sold online. The website kept giving him an error message and he called customer service and got my book ordered. I paid cash so they got a gift card for the exact amount.

If you need a book. Youll find it here, most likely. Fun place to look around while you are waiting for a movie. Staff is sometimes less than helpful. Highly recommend that you get some coffee at the coffee bar. I like this place, but I miss Hastings. I do recommend you visit though.

I realize that this outlet is rearranging BUT almost none of the clerks are pleasant or are uninterested in helping customers. The drink counter is not manned and when someone does appear several items are not available. I do know that rearranging is difficult at best but I will drive to the nearest Barnes and Nobles store no matter how far it may be.Please do not reply to this comment. I would actually give this store zero stars.

A great place for anyone. They have books, games, mertch, and novelties. The customer service is great, and during the troublesome times (Review written July, 1, 2020) they have stayed open and are keeping customers safe.

Love this place! So many books and so many cute pop culture things! Wouldve given 5 stars, but the staff is asked to repeatedly push their memberships even if you go in the same day twice you have to wait for them to finish trying to lure you in at checkout. Be kinder to your employees they are all awesome!!! But no means no.

Absolutely loved the smell of the new books and added a couple books to my collection. Id forgotten how expensive books can be. Thats the only downfall I saw.

The staff is superb. Super friendly and able to help when there are questions. The store is always clean & well organized. The have things for every reading level. Joe Mugg has wonderful drinks to rival their coffee shop competition.

I like this place because Im a book nerd and I love to read, a lot. The selections are limited though, it is after all not a very big store but the books are there. They have a lot of cute accessories here and there, toys, mugs, and what not (mostly gift ideas). They have a cute little coffee corner which no book store should be without. Its a nice place to go to get a good book or to just hang out for a bit.

I love brick and mortar stores where I can actually hold a book in my hands. Staff was friendly and helpful in assisting me with locating a specific book. After finding the book, they asked if there was anything else they could help me with. I liked that.

My boy and I get lost in here for hours amid books, photos and quirky novelties and 3d puzzles! Even a small section for hands on lapidary enthusiasts like myself. Warning: they are well stocked on fortnite $wag for kiddo ;)

They had the cat books my grandchild was looking for! Their toys are a little high prices in this store, but always amazed at their book selections. A lady helped us find what we needed, and the cashier was friendly, with a great smile.

This place is a great little shop in Town Center. Has lots too keep anyone that is remotely nerdy busy for a while. This store has a good assortment of books and educational toys. What be they dont have is anywhere to sit and read. There is a small coffee shop located inside but the chairs are small, hard and uncomfortable. I am giving 4 stars because the staff is nice & they work hard to keep things stocked and clean.

Always love the atmosphere and friendly service here. They were in the middle of rearranging the store, but it was still easy to navigate and find what I was looking for.

Nice place to score agenda books when they go on sale, good place to browse while you wait for a movie to start at the theater.

The person at the cafe wasnt there. When my son and I approached the door going to their storage area, she came up behind us and told us we could get in big trouble if we were caught in there. I told her I would like to see her at her work station and she would avoid people looking for her. Lately theyve been hiring rude people at this location. It had been a few months since the last I had gone there, and honestly that stir has gone down the drain. Best drive to Frisco and get better service at the Barnes and Noble.

I could spend all day in this store, and its definitely a plus that theres a bargain section. I love the offers that the club members have access to, including free shipping when you order online. Love BAM

I love this place they have a great atmosphere a decent selection of books. That said its randomly dirty, not really the staffs fault but people need to stop leaving their food/trash on the shelves. The coffee and the chai latte is pretty good I just wish they had more variety on food like before, they used to have banana nut muffins and spinach cream cheese stuffed bread. Now they have three trays worth of muffins and cookies.

The children section could be more child friendly, but still a good place to visit. Love to read and the kids love seeing the books and toys. Clean, quiet.

They call themselves books a million, but when I went in to go get a book that Ive been waiting to get. They didnt have it, and this is the third time this has happened. I also wanted to get this new marvel book that dropped today for my boy, and of course again, they didnt have it. Thanks books a million, Barnes and Noble it is, because they have what I need.

The not so common any more book store. A good sized store with a great selection. A good coffee shop inside and tables you can sit and read at. Very large selection of magazines in the back as well as a lot of toys and gadgets for the little ones. Draw back for me is the stocking system. It will take some time to find the book your looking for.

A great store to pick up books, or grab a coffee. The staff are nice and knowledgeable, but are required to try to get you to buy magazine subscriptions with every transaction. The store is constantly having sales, and you can buy a membership card to get a 10% discount throughout the store.

Best place to go now that Hastings is gone. They have a ton of stuff at reasonable prices. Certainly have alot more than just books too! Located right on the end of Sherman town center! Also, very close to the movies!

Selection of magazines could be better. No Wiccan available at all. The staff were lifesavers tonight though, helping me find a gift item for my daughter that I had hunted the whole store for and missed! Thanks guys.
