Most of the time its easy to Just do your job, the truth of GREAT customer service is how you handle it when something happens thats not right. Its been a long time since I have experienced such awesome customer service!!! Everyone went out of their way to fix the issue and never once made me feel like I was a problem. Even with the masks on I could see that they were smiling, a real smile reaches the eyes. Thank you so much for a great end to my day!!!
The back person was amazing. She talked me through everything and made amazing small talk. John in the front was just the cherry on top. He explained the different packages. We talked about the different additives to best fit my needs. My current pair broke and my backup pair was a bit loose. I asked if he could adjust them so they could fit my face better until my new glasses came in. He was more than happy to adjust them.Please go here if you want a budget friendly place with great customer service.
We had a wonderful experience, my husband had never seen an eye doctor and everything went so smoothly. The salesman John was also great he went above and beyond to get us what was the best fit for us. He was great. Overall we had an awesome experience would highly recommend using them!!!
You cant get a good check up over the phone my brother went there and has very progressive eye disease they didnt catch it paid 99 dollars for glasses that did not fit and he could see nothing they didnt even make the glasses fit much less try when I asked what his vision was they didnt have a clue I will take the glasses back and get him a refund cause they told me to take him to a real eye dr WOW AGAIN THEY DONT HAVE A CLUE DONT GO THERE

John and Michelle were very kind throughout our very long process.They were experiencing problems with the tablet and a rather large amount of walk ins, including myself and my son. We ended up being there for around 3 hours and they both stayed positive and upbeat even when I got a little demanding regarding an estimated time for completion of our visit. John was very professional, very educated on the products and didn’t once get frustrated with me. I think he and Michelle deserve 5 stars for customer service in the face of technical problems and dealing with many people. The prices are a little higher then I would normally spend but John made great efforts to help me make all the ends meat. $500 later, I have 3 glasses of the best quality (both lens and frames) along with contacts. I am pleased which leads to this post. I never ever post anything on a website but am doing so today because if those two. I do feel I have a person I can come back to and take care of any future eye wear needs. Thanks John and Michelle!

My wife and I were greeted with a friendly welcome as soon as entered. We had same day eye exams, 10 minutes apart. Then John a sales manager offered to help us find new frames.Next the assistant sales manager thoroughly explained the different options, we got a 20% discount from my sister in laws referral and 10% for scheduling as a couple. He was able to knock our grand total down to a reasonable amount.We like the variety of frames to choose from and how clean the store is.Everyone was helpful informative and efficient. Would definitely recommend Stanton to family and friends.
False advertising. Said they would fix my glasses and the. Said they couldnt after I drove all the way over there be. because they didnt sell that brand of frame. Terrible experience.

My friend and I went yesterday to get an eye exam and get new glasses. We had the best experience. Every single employee was there for us to answer any question we had. It was really nice to feel so important. The manager John Raner even come over and talked to us. After we were done I changed my mind and decided I wanted contacts instead of glasses. I figured they would say we don’t have time to change everything, but they didn’t. They were great!!!!I recommend Stanton Optical!!
Spent 2 and a half hours here to not even see an optometrist in person. I have one eye that is worse than the other, and from what I understand it is very common. They tell me it will be a week and a half before I get my contacts(that’s fine.) Then, I get a text that says they are ready but when I get there they only have one eye that was sent to them. Because I have an issue with that other eye it’ll take longer to get ready. He said “you can take this contact and use it if you want.” What good would it do to only have one contact??*Update*After waiting for 4 weeks for my contacts, I finally got them and my prescription was wrong. I even went somewhere else to get my glasses just so I wouldn’t have to deal with this place anymore, but after wearing my glasses and my contacts it just didn’t feel correct and was hurting my eyes. So, I scheduled a new appointment to have them re check my eyes, and gave me a new prescription. I went to get my glasses fixed, and when they came in for the second time, they are still the wrong prescription. I don’t think they have anyone here that knows what they’re doing and they have no clue how to check anyone’s eyes.
Channa was very helpful, polite, and respectful of my time. She had my exam done as quickly as possible despite me not setting an appointment. The whole process was quick and easy. If you are in need of new glasses I highly recommend her and the folks at Stanton Optical.

I bought glasses from here six months ago. Today while walking through a store the earpiece just fell off. Called about getting them to repair them and was told Yes they have a one-year warranty but you still have to pay 20% of the cost. So Only buy glasses from them If you don’t care if they only last six months.

John the sales manager was awesome!!! I had first went to America’s best and they were ridiculous on pricing. I came here and he helped so much and I spent less on 2 glasses and a pair of sunglasses than I would’ve on 2 pair at the other place!!! This will definitely be my go to place from now on.

We stopped in here because Wal-Mart wouldnt see us until 2:30 pm. Were glad we did. Its a no-nonsense place with easy to understand options and a very friendly staff. The eye exam was free with the purchase of glasses, which were two for one at the time of this review. The doctor took us in almost immediately, right before his lunch break. They made us feel absolutely welcome. The glasses we purchased were great looking and still in style, and the frames were relatively inexpensive (19 dollars for both sets of frames). All we had to do was to select from our options for the lenses and we were done!It will take a couple of weeks for the new glasses to arrive but I am confident that they will be excellent in quality and appearance.
Just got two pair of glasses with all the upgrades and a year supply of contacts for 180 with no issues at all. My prescription was PERFECT, but they offered to give me another exam and exchange my glasses and contacts for free if I wasnt satisfied with the clarity. Very satisfied!!!
I went into the Stanton in Sherman TX Friday. I had some VA glasses that were issued, one set with a missing nose support and the other, a screw had backed out. I took both pairs and was seen by the Lab supervisor (don’t remember his name). Very cordial and professional. He noticed while examining the two pairs that the nose support was upside down. He repairs both pairs and refused any payment. It’s nice to see they are willing to repair other glasses that they didn’t make or sell. First class customer service. Thank you.
Low cost eye exam, Speed, great customer service, large selection of glasses, same day eye exam appt, temporary glasses until my progressive glasses comes in FREE (here in 2 weeks.) I was concerned about the Virtual eye exam but it was exactly the same as if doc was in person. I some times have a problem hearing but the audio was clear and loud. I will be back.Update:So its been two weeks and I just found out my glasses have a shipping hold on them. Im not holding it against them because anything could have happened. but they could have called me to let me know. thank goodness I still have my old glasses that I had to glue together otherwise what would I have done. I will update again if need be.

I was referred by a coworker after having a bad experience at another well known eyeglass/contact place. Well, here we go again! First, the eye exam is virtual and the optometrist kept asking me “are you sure”? Well, thinking back now that made me second guess whether A or B or 1 or 2 was better or worse. I ordered contacts and lenses only. They had to order my contacts due to the strength, but gave me trials of ones that were close to my prescription. I received noticed that my trial contacts were in. Picked them up, put them in a few days later, my vision is blurry. Then I had to check online to see when my lenses were ready. I go to have them put them in my frames, they didn’t even clean the lenses when they put them in the frames, guess they don’t do that anymore? They touch your lenses and put finger prints on them to get them in the frames and then give them to you. I let the girl know about my contacts. I found out they labeled them incorrectly, Left vs Right. She also said that I would have to call back the next day and talk to the person I worked with before and make an appointment for a recheck on my eyes. It was past closing time by now, and the guy that helped me before said they are there past closing, till 8 and will help you. Well not this employee! Obviously she wanted to leave. So I left and then continued to get emails letting me know that I still had my order to pick up. I switched the contacts and they are still not right, the first set are still better, so I am still confused to why so I called the number on the webpage and spoke to the customer service and she said they never showed that I picked up my lenses and made my appointment for my recheck. So now I am stuck with this place, unless I want to start all over!

The staff was nice, but I don’t recommend this place. It’s not standard practice. You won’t see an actual optometrist. I’ve been wearing contacts for 12 years. The optometrist always checks the fit after prescribing me a new prescription. That was not the case here. They have someone in a white lab coat that is talking to you and operating the machine virtually through a television. When I asked if I could speak to an actual optometrist about my eyes they said no.When putting the new contacts in my eyes, my vision was abnormally blurry and they were uncomfortable. The woman at the front desk said it was because of my astigmatism and that I just needed to give it time...... I’ve been wearing contacts for 12 years. That’s a first. I didn’t want to argue with her though, because I brought my one year old and had to get out of there as it was getting close to her nap time.Fast forward 1 week and I can not wear the contacts at all. They are uncomfortable, irritate my eyes, and my vision is always randomly blurred.Wouldn’t have happened if they had checked the fit like standard practices do. I’m very disappointed.

My partner was concerned after the exam that the outcome might not be the correction he needs. John was quick to assure us he will make sure we are satisfied in fact he fine tuned the Rx with manual lenses and even accomplished getting my partner to switch frame brands that he was absolutely not willing to change from before arriving to the store. If I could rate this place 0 stars I would. I had an eye exam done at this place and was given my prescription on the same day. I ordered my glasses at a different location because they do not carry what I wanted. Upon receiving my glasses, I could not see out of them. I went back to the store and they redid my eye exam. Come to find out they did my prescription wrong the first time. The lady working up there said they would not pay to fix my lenses because I didn’t buy from them. However, my lenses were wrong because they gave me the wrong prescription. I would take my business somewhere else. They take zero responsibility for their actions.

Spent a hour and a half at this location my daughter and I have vsp through my husbands company. I asked the employees here if they took vsp before the eye exam they said it should be no problem. Then went up front to a different employee while waiting she said we had 70 for exam that would be covered by vsp, plus another 120 thats covered for glasses. Tried to explain to the employee that worked there that we could pay out of pocket, but yet get our money back if needed that my husbands company would refund us if we had the receipt. She said that she did know about that but they wouldnt do it. At the very end she said that we would have to pay for the exam out of pocket, which earlier she said that it would be covered by vsp. I would never be back or recommended anyone to them.

My husband got and eye exam from Stanton. He got the prescription for his glasses. He took the prescription to eyemart to get new lenses because he needed his glasses same day When he got his glasses he could not see because the prescription was wrong. 300 dollars wasted. Stanton said he could come in for another exam but they were not responsible for paying for the glasses, even though they screwed up the prescription. They will not refund the eye exam either. So my husband paid 45 dollars for a wrong prescription. If you have a chance to go somewhere else please do. It will save you money in the long run. The people are nice as can be as long as you are gonna use their services, but as soon as they mess up, they dont admit to and and take no responsibility for it. Not good customer service!!!

After going to 2 different locations, the prices being high and the service quality being low, I was reccomend this place. Honestly didnt have high standards but was blown away. I definently would have saved myself the time and effort. The people are so helpful and kind. I found a pair I loved, waited 15 minutes to have them fully done, and walked out with 100 dollars more in my pocket than I would have anywhere else guarentee!! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.Ima take my kids here if I ever have any, thats how serious I am. Nicest people ever!
My appointment was for 1030am. Im still waiting to see the doctor. A salesman walked right in and has been chit chatting with the doctor, who was late to arrive to work today. The staff is friendly and helpful, but not impressed by the long wait. By the way, I am still waiting....1122am.....So I need to edit this because they completely sold me on becoming a lifetime customer. The doc was awesome and since my vision has changed since I was there earlier this year, I wound up paying MUCH less than expected. Big thanks to Mary Jane and the rest of the staff! Definitely happy this let me edit my previous review.

Made an appointment on December 12th to get an eye exam at the Sherman, Tx location. The staff was all very kind and professional.I purchased a new pair of glasses and was told that it would take 3-5 business days to ship. However, it is now the 19th of January and I still do not have my glasses.I was told that they were damaged in the shipping process to the store, but no one called to inform me.. I had to call and wait on hold for over an hour to find out this information. He then informed me that they would be fixed and shipped to me on the 4th of January. I still don’t have my glasses.. and no one seems to have any answers as to where they are. I had high hopes for this company but It has been a truly disappointing first experience.
Just left to this location. Was the best experience I have ever had with an optical store. The physician was awesome. Tim in the retail are was more than amazing. He took the time to make sure I could get what I needed with in the budget I had. Tim and his entire team went above and beyond all expectations I had. I recommend this location to everyone needing glasses.

This was by far my best experience in buying glasses! I got one pair and my mom got her regular pair and sunglasses. They have a very good selection as well with good quality frames for reasonable prices! They were so helpful as to checking our insurance and making sure we got the best deal and prices; especially for me as my benefits were not due to renew for a while. They were very friendly, patient, helpful, professional, and very prompt! The work and knowledge of all of the staff is top notch. I highly recommend them to anyone needing glasses, contacts, etc. The main 3 people that helped us were Matt, Bre, and Marissa, but everyone we saw spoke and was very kind and willing to help. Check them out! They have very workable hours as well. I will definitely be back!

I went in on Monday with completely broken glasses. My exam was quick at 2:50, glasses picked out and done by 3:30. I received a call an hour later saying the machine is acting up, so itll be Tuesday. Even though I cant see, I said ok. Its too late to go anywhere else.My husband attempted to talk to someone in my behalf, they were extremely rude with him & one lady hung up on him. He was told this morning it would be Wednesday instead of today, then a few hours later he receives a call from Stanton & they pushed it to Thursday. At that point he wanted to discuss a refund and was told There would be NO refund available.So I called myself, requested a refund. I now have to drive 40 mins in order to get a refund back on my card AND now Stanton wants to charge me $45 for the exam instead of $19.99 as discussed on Monday.Ive never had a place try to refuse a refund, then grant the refund but change the amount of my exam. Needless to say, Ill stick with Eyemart for anything important/quick because Stanton could literally care less that Ive got no glasses/ vision. Thatll be the first and last time I go there.

Everyone was so nice and assisted with obtaining my insurance information. Tim went above my expectations by staying back to ensure I was able to get my frame same day after they closed. If you have the chance do not go here. They are terrible. They do not comunicate at all you cant ever get to the actuall office just customer service through what ever call center it is they use. I had a eye exam done here a yr ago and had to wait over 4 months for my contacts. Then i recently went back thinking okay all i need is glasses it shouldnt be like that again. Boy was i wrong they sent my lences off said it would be two weeks max mayb less but it was over 3 weeks i had to wait and i went in the first place cause uh i need glasses to be able to see. So i got the run around from 4 diff people saying oh they will for sure be ready on a certain date but they kept changing it. And i was on hold for 45 min three diff times. Finally the last person i spoke with called the actuall office and my glasses were ready no telling for how long then they just send me a messgae today monday saying glasses are ready for pick up wen i got them on friday. Just plain reduculous. I will never be back.
Never again. Poor service, poor selection, and received a text that my glasses are ready...drive a hour to get them only to find out that only one contact is ready and no eyeglasses. Didnt even get a sorry for driving all that way. They are terrible.

Worst experience with delays and issues with my glasses once theyve finally come in. The ONLY reason its not lower is because I can actually see and a lot of prescribers dont get it right for my strange eyes.
