Seriously one of the best lumber companies in the Portland area. Gil was great to work with. They can actually mill your order for you to meet your specs and there tolerances are great. I will be using them for all my lumber needs in the future!!!

Came in on a Tuesday to purchase around 100bf of hardwood. When I got there I stood in front to be helped and waited quite awhile. Paul walked behind the counter asked if I had been helped. I said that I hadn’t. He responded okay well someone should be around to help you soon. So I waited a bit longer he came out of his office asked if I had been helped yet. I said no I haven’t. He responded the same as before. Brian I believe his name was came over when he was done with another customer and immediately helped. It wasn’t busy when I came in and it wasn’t the first time I have been in either. Even came in on a Saturday to see if service was better. It wasn’t. I really like the product and I drive about 40 minutes to get to them. Just not a fan of Paul’s service.

Excellent customer service! Brian helped me today and I found him to be friendly, knowledgeable, professional and wanted to make sure I was happy with the wood I was buying. He took his time to help me select the best pieces for my project. Lowes and Home Depot could learn a thing or two from him on what excellent customer service is! I highly recommend Hardwood Industries.

I came in on a Saturday with my son to get a sheet of plywood. Brian was awesome with getting what we needed. He’s great at what he does. He got us our product and answered all of our questions. While he was helping us the other person working Paul was helping someone and drove the forklift over our heads with product and clipped a piece of wood which came flying down and hit me in the back. He never apologized for doing this. Brian was apologizing left and right for this which could have been worse. I highly recommend if you shop there wear a hard hat. This is a very dangerous atmosphere. Paul should be reported to OSHA... and lose his job. Brian was great the product was great but Paul could use a lot of work. He was unfriendly and not caring. He was also coughing on everything and everyone around him. I may never go back due to the risk of being injured or decapitated. Don’t go when Paul is there if you want to survive.
