Staff is nice but rarely helpful. Hobby Lobby as a whole is just not a great business with their predatory sales tactics (That thing that seems like you have to buy it right now cause it’s 50% off is always 50% off…). Closed on Sundays, and doesn’t seem to do inventory or use barcodes which means it takes FOREVER if the staff doesn’t know what they are ringing up. Go here because it’s close or because you want their pre made crafts/furniture, otherwise go to any other craft store.

Very well stocked with many, many items. Aisles clear. Staff polite and helpful.

I just know Nicole in frame shop was terrific as were her cohorts. They were patient, helpful and gave me a lot of help and time to sort out options. Their pricing was better than the other shops I visited. This was my first experience with the store.

The stuff they sell is decent and can be cheaper than the same thing from Michaels. The staff arent usually very helpful though. Also this company doesnt sell anything Halloween related, just FYI.

This place is awful. The price being shown is often not accurate (the item sometimes ends up being cheaper than shown but it would be nice to know beforehand). I also stood in line for 20+ minutes just for a simple return. No sense of urgency and religious decor everywhere you look...

This place is awesome, great prices. The staff are polite and the store is pretty clean and well stocked. I went in there to look not buy and still walked out of there with a ton of wall hanging items and $80 less in my pocket🙃.

I just love Hobby LobbyI live in the Bay area and I came to Portland to visit my My daughter and grandkidsworking on a crochet project for an upcoming grandchild When I decided Put a different colour in the centre . The saleswoman showed me how to read the yarn package to get The same type of yarn. We talked for a moment and she was So sweet .The girl The register If was just so sweet we laughed and talked about absolutely nothing 😄What can I say I just love me some Hobby Lobby 😆 🤷‍♀️

You cant beat the 50% off deals that are on everything. I go here all the time to pick up my paints and my canvases. They also have a good rotating coupon system for different products and they sanitize their carts.

I love Hobby Lobby for their variety of craft supplies. However, service was disappointing on my last visit. After filling my cart with way more than I went in for (isnt that how it goes) I was checking out, a manager had to approve a no receipt return for the customer in front of me, he seemed annoyed, even that customer looked at me and raised her eyebrows. My cashier was so nice, I mean the sweetest girl ever. The manager was standing by the door as I was checking out. In leaving I grabbed all my bags and proceeded to place my cart in the middle with all the other carts. The manager then loudly said No, put it over there. He was pointing to the side of the door. Him raising his voice at me for no reason kind of embarrassed me, by if he talks to a customer like that, I can only imagine how he treats his team. I do wish I said something to him but I did not, it was the end of my day, I was tired and did not want to match his rudeness.

Was excited when this opened as we are a family that loves to do DIY, crafts, hobbies, etc. Since this place opened we have regularly spent a good amount of $ here.My review for the 1☆ are due to the fact that while there are tons of staff, they just point to a direction if you ask for help, they cannot break a small bill for you even if you have a basket full of merchandise. They ask if you would like to buy a bag at least twice per transaction even after youve said *no.* They also no longer offer the 40%off coupon. They are closed on Sundays. This store may be closest to us but I would rather spend my $ @ other craft stores, Home goods places than this place.

I enjoyed my first visit here. I went in just before closing around the holidays and cant wait to go back. I was shocked at all the reasonable gift ideas and stocking stuffers! The affordable art work and home decorations blew my mind! The staff was nice and friendly, helpful too!

Hobby Lobby in Sherwood has nice staff and great prices on floral, but the one thing I find that is odd is that they cant look up an item number and let me know if other hobby lobbys or online had that item in stock. This might be more of a corporation thing, but I hope this review will catch a managers eye and ask corporate to make this feature available. Usually Michaels and JoAnn can lookup a product number and tell me where I can find it somewhere else. I appreciate the consideration! Thank you!

The store is filled with everything you need from beginner projects to high-end professional tools. It is overcrowded and can be hard to find what you are looking for. I didnt get to much help from staff as they only seemed to know their area. Great stuff though and glad its closer now.

Love this place. Endless possibilities. So many options. I am like a kid in a candy store. After I discovered this store i find it hard to go back to Michaels or Joanne.

Amazing array of decor, gifts and craft items. The only place locally that you can get model paints and supplies. Checkout lanes are confusing--hard to tell which is open. Good selection of art glass and supplies. You have to shop there a couple of times to get the feel for the store layout.

Very helpful customer service and amazing selection at reasonable prices.

Good stuff, some even made in France no less. Friendly staff. Great selection. Enjoyable music especially classical music.

Great items, price was about on par with other craft stores. It was a little hard to navigate the store as the aisles werent marked but there seemed to be giant pictures on the back walls of that might have indicated what items lied where. It was also my first time at a hobby lobby so maybe Im a noob lol. Friendly service!

1st time at a hobby lobby. I liked it. It had cool crafts for people of all ages at good prices. House decor, and even die cast and models. I couldve spent a few more hours in there. I had fun in the garage man cave section

This is the Best Store Ever for just browsing or looking for a certain item to help you make just about anything! I am so glad they opened a store in our area! I walk in the door and each time, I am in awe at the massive space filled with just about anything you might be looking for. My Wife is into crafts so this is her go to place. The store is huge and very clean and neat. Most everything sold at HL is made in China. I always go with her so can drive her there and to look around at the Model kits in the toy section. The only negative is during check-out. The place was hammered on the weekend and it took us 25 minutes to get through the check-out line. Probably a good time to go is during the week. They are closed on Sundays.

I can spend all day in here. I love all the patriotic decorations they have. The music they play is great and relaxing. Very nice store.

My wife loves going here for all her puzzles and the 3D puzzles. They have just about anything you can think of when it comes to hobbys& hobby related things.

Didnt seem to have a lot of fabric or yarn. Very small amount of sewing machine parts. Seemed more like a store that you would pick up decor for the home. Prices were decent. Wasnt worth the wait to go inside.

Well maintained in appearance and they are being responsible acting in regards of the mask wearing and open space. Product, in our case, was readily available. Staff seemed pleasant.

Never has what I am looking for... Most things there are so expensive.. I would rather drive to Beaverton, to Tammys Hobbies. So much better prices.. and the staff KNOW what they are doing.. ( the staff at Hobby lobby.. just points in a direction.. and it doesnt get you to where you need to be.) ( No help, even when you ask ) 👎👎👎

I love shopping at Hobby Lobby. They have clearances that make things super affordable. You have a bunch of choices for home decor already made or make your own! This one is not as big as Albany but not as small as Clackamas. They have a good selection. As a teacher this is the best place to buy things for making parent gifts. Christmas stuff is always out early so you can find crafts for your whole classroom.

Its a very good place to look for materials for your art projects.

Nice store- VERY clean! Wide variety of things, including affordable home decorations and just about anything else, haha! I went to look at Planners and even though they only had one aisle, there was still a good selection of items. What I greatly appreciated about the store is how clean and orderly it is (restroom included). I go to craft stores a lot and they are usually a mess. Also, the music was not obnoxious at all.

Great selection, reasonable pricing, and helpful employees. There was a line to get in, but an appropriate amount of people were in the store and there were plenty of hand sanitizer stations.

I needed to special order a random product and they did it without a thought. I was super excited and appreciative. Pickup was a breeze.

Holy Hobby! This place has it all, however if youre a minimalist, it has just that one piece you might need.

Love their products, so much to choose from! Lots of farmhouse items, from pictures to baskets to metal pieces. Huge craft area. Fabric galore and all the fixings to make fun things.Just not so sure on the owners politics and the way they handled the pandemic...employees are your most important asset and they stumbled on taking care of them at the onset!!

Ive been looking for these for awhile now. I was actually surprised they have a good variety of these kits on display.

Got fabric and materials to make some covid masks. They were really helpful in helping me figure how Im going to do that. Also framed my own picture, they helped me with that too. Great service and distancing if that is a concern to you. Great music too.

Mainly go here for sheets of glass, prices are about 10 a sheet and color patters are great

The biggest selection of crafts items and home decor in the area. Lots of wall art and fake flowers. The restrooms are at the back of the store and the ladies room was huge and immaculate. Music was instrumental religious stuff, if you like that. Some items were missing prices, but they are still stocking shelves. Found a great selection of knobs and pulls for cabinets and drawers. Dangerous place for those of us with a crafting addiction. Staff was friendly and there are a lot of sales on.

This is a great place! This is a place where you can really look for things that speak to your artistic side. Its well organized. The staff is helpful. Its probably my favorite place to find more artistic things.

Where is the Halloween decorations? I see nothing even remotely close to Halloween decor in this store. Sure you have fall stuff and a third of the store dedicated to X-mas, but no, nothing for Samhain. That makes me sad.

Love this store! They often have great sales. You have to carefully look at things though Ive noticed because sometimes they have damage so I always tend to grab the one behind whatever Im looking at.

Some staff were helpful but when it came to needing a manager to discuss a damaged item the manager Christopher was rude and definitely did not treat me like a valuable customer at all.

Looking for beads that they dont have at Michaels. It was a successful trip.The service was much faster, too. Very short line at checkout.

I stopped in on opening weekend and was impressed with the selection of items. The store was jam packed and the staff was doing an amazing job considering that most had only been working there for a couple of days. I can’t imagine how hard it is to open a store of that size with the crowd they had.

It was like Michaels on steroids and the prices are really good :-)
