This was a regular place my family would visit when it was previously Strathmore bagels. The food tastes good and portion sizes are reasonable. When the new owners took over, they were very busy as everyone in town was checking the place out. This resulted in wrong orders, long waits and disorganization. It was understood that with any new business comes a surplus in customers and we stayed true to visiting this bagel shop. However, since then everytime my family orders from this shop- our order is either wrong or there is something missing from our order. This isnt a one time thing and weve tried to overlook it because we do love their food but it becomes a problem everytime we order. If we dont open every single sandwich in the shop...we go home with something wrong or a missing item. We love their food and if they could fix this issue we would return..but at this point its becoming unworthy of the hassle.

2 years ago i gave the place 5 stars, but since they changed owners and the name of the place now is the bagel cafe, the place went down. Food, prices and especially costumer services, one of the ladies even cursed at the costumer and she said she was the manager.

I will never go here even if this was the last bagel store on earth. I walk in the girl was super rude. I explained that there was allergy. She could careless. Then she rings me up she gave me the wrong bagel, so I went back in she accused me of being a lier with a whole bunch of people in the store. She throws my bagel at me and grabs the other one out my hand. I will never go here rude staff.

TERRIBLE!!!!!!! If I could give ZERO stars I would. Ordered 2 eggs, cheese on a roll. Waited over 20 mins and my order didn’t even get started. Too many ppl working behind the counter taking orders left and right but not enough support on the grill. Come on. This isn’t rocket science.

Went in there 4 times.... food is good as long as you dont mind not getting what you ordered. Its like a blind taste test whenever I go in.... too bad they didnt serve me something with peanuts.... then this post will be totly different

No longer Strathmore Bagels, they have changed owners and im sorry to say the bagels are trash now. They used to be great, but now its always soft chewy bread instead of a great long island bagel.

This is the only bagel place in the area that gets our sandwiches correct, that actually tastes good. Especially my husband who orders a complicated sandwich. They can be very busy on The Weeknd morning but that is probably just because they are good. Due to the long lines I have had to go other places before and like I said they always make the food wrong and its not as good.Staff handles the busy times well. Bagels are fresh and good. Eggs made exactly as ordered. Prices comparable to other bagel stores. They offer pastries, drinks, chips and cream cheese also.

They’re great... best bagels in this area. Service is always friendly and fast, none of the workers there have an attitude, they get you in & out in no time flat. All banger shops should be this good.

Ordered two bagels and two decaf coffees. All three pots were full for regular coffee but the decaf pot was empty. So the server started a new decaf coffee pot. Got to the car and started to drink the coffee but was cold. Returned the two coffee cups and the server replaced them with two newly poured decaf coffee. Still warm but not hot

Great food, but the worst service imaginable. The workers act like its a privilege for you to be in their presence. Ive stood in this bagel shop for upwards of 20 minutes sometimes, just waiting for a worker to acknowledge me after placing an order on the phone. I dont understand; Isnt the point of ordering ahead supposed to be to save time?One time, I ordered a Ruben and when I went to pick it up, the worker told me that because they had already turned the stove off, they had to heat up my sandwich a different way. What they meant was, they microwaved it. This was probably the worst experience Ive ever had at any deli ever in my life.

They can not get an order correct. I have tried multiple times and every time my food is incorrect. Wrong bagel, burnt and incorrect egg sandwiches. I don’t know why but they continue to mess up every order!

Went to get bagels over the weekend. The store is in violation of the board of health codes and department of agriculture guidelines.About 10 girls behind the counter with open food noone had hats or hair restraints, each employee had only one glove on. Baker in back had no mask nor hair restraint. Unless these guys clean up their act fast they need a surprise inspection on Saturday and Sunday.

First and last time. Nasty lady who looked @ me like i was crazy when i had to go up and get my bagle fixed. I was not nasty at all! I understand it was busy... But all i wanted was my cheese melted which my husband asked originally...

Twice Ive eaten there and both times have ordered the American on a roll. They give ample meat and cheese and the condiments plus meat and roll are always fresh. Its clean eating and delicious!

As per their sign and google, they close at 2. I walked up and the door was locked and it was full of people. It was 1:56 pm and all I wanted was a plain bagel with butter and she refused to serve me. Never again. Classless.

Hot bagels, hot bacon/egg/sausage and homefries. Their lox and cream cheese bagel comes with a complimentary side of Mac salad or potato salad. Friendly staff. A bit crowded in the morning but there are like 10 staff working so lines move quick.

Loved coming to this bagel store until this morning 6/23/17 ... I ordered breakfast for my daughter & me, half way threw my bagel i seen plastic, brought it to the staffs attention and all they said was o its a glove!!!! No sorry we will replace it just threw it out!!! The staff is too busy playing games ... I will never b back here & i will pass the word around!!!

Great bagels for Long Island. Chewy on the outside and soft on the inside. Toppings on bagles are generous and they offer unique bagels. They use a commercial toaster so service is quicker than other bagel stores that use a regular pop up toaster. Worth the trip!

Past two times Ive been in there they messed up all my orders. I dont mind the wait if the quality it good. But if i am going to spend over $20 on orders. Itd be nice if they can get the sandwiches right. Ive been a customer for years so its just disappointing at this point.

Way too expensive for the low quality food made here. Staff seemed to be unfriendly and frankly looked like they hated working there. Was not happy w this place.

Very poorly managed to the point where I was physically pushed by Laurie, the owner in front of several people, including her 4 year daughter. I would not spend my money there, nor would I work there, especially because they pay people below minimum wage! The employees are mistreated and underpaid. The owners make you feel unwelcome and should take lessons on manners and etiquette!

Went to get bagels on the 4th of July and called prior to going but it was busy for 20 mins so I decided to drive there. When i got there there was an employee at the door with keys and stated they were closed. I asked her what time they closed and she said 12pm. I checked the time and it was only 11:55am. Why would you lock the doors prior to the time you are suppose to close. I would never go back and will highly suggest to friends and family to avoid this establishment . Thanks for wasting an hour of my time away from my family on a holiday.

Ive lived in this town all my life and 9/10 times this place messes up my order. I cant call to place phone orders because they never answer and the wait and service in store is slow, and bad. The older lady behind the counter even argued with me one day when she messed up my order. Poorly trained staff, poor service for mediocre quality food.

This place is aways busy! But the lines move quickly! The service is great, i just think their prices are alittle high. Food is amazing though. Today I got a Super Egg bagel with scrambled eggs, bacon, sauage, and cheese and damn it was awesome! Now i wanna try it on an Everything bagel now! I think all Strathmores have great food!
