This is just an nice place with amazing workers. Kate in the paint department was the one of the most kind people I have ever felt with. She might not have known it but she made an observation about something and it changed my entire day for the better. A+ worker. The there was Chris G in the garden department that went out of his way to get me the right table, load it on a cart, take it to my car and load it up with the rest of my things while I got my son into his car seat. Who does that???? No one! But Chris was a step above the rest in helping! So impressed with him and the overall experience. Then there was Tomas who rang me up so quickly and smiled the entire time and left the entire experience a really positive one. We will be back time and time again because of your employees! Kind people and so so helpful!

Great clean store, don’t know if was the day I went but a lot of items out of stock, came in for 6 items and left with 2. Would have been nice to get my shopping done in one trip. Staff was friendly and helpful about stocking issues though

The customer service at the store is great, but this is the second appliance we purchased & the delivery team is absolutely awful! The first time they refused to install our dish washer until we filled out a complaint and they sent a different team out who had no problem. Now our fridge we spent $2,000 on “doesn’t” fit in our kitchen door way but the measurements we took off What is posted at home depot give an inch room for it to fit, but the delivery team refused to deliver it & now we are out s fridge and have to wait a week for our refund amount to even go look for another fridge! Do not use Home Depot!!! Their delivery service is the absolute worst & they aren’t even apologetic for the huge inconvenience.

Went to the Home Depot in Shorewood and I was very impressed. The staff was polite and the customer service was amazing. We were able to get an associate to come and assist us on finding all the items we needed.

I brought a Magtag Refrigerator 5 years ago with a extended warranty and they have been unprofessional, rude and unwilling to honor my warranty. I will never shop their again. Buyer be were shop at your own risk.P.S. THEY WILL KEEP YOU FOR HOURS TELLING YOU THAT THEY WILL HELP. LOL

Satisfies all your needs!

The employees are helpful and attentive, I like that the store is always clean, and they usually have everything in stock.-However, NEVER hire or allow their contractors to do installs unless you WANT a nightmare. The contractors are private contractors, so a complete stranger is sent to install your expensive purchase and you have zero way of knowing how much knowledge or experience they have.

I do not recommend buying Thomasville cabinets from here. I worked with a designer and the cabinets next to the oven dont open all the because of the size of the oven. I gave the designer the oven info and she said dont worry all ovens are the same size. Its been over 4 months and they have failed to resolve the situation. I had to take racks off the gourmet cabinet doors that I paid a lot of money for. I dont have a countertop and after many emails its still nit resolved. I paid over over $12,000 for only 6 base cabinets. Very poor service and they dont care about customer satisfaction. I am handicapped and my husband has dementia. This was suppose to be an easy kitchen for our old age that turned into a nightmare.

We just moved to Shorewood two weeks ago. We went to the Home Depot and experienced lazy staff unable to try and help. Spoke with management and how is it at the store sense and it seems the staff is very willing to help. I want to recognize Judy in the doors department we went in the other day and she was very helpful and very kind. We went back today specifically asked for her she was there and helped us order a door for her new home. She was very helpful and very kind and the reason we would come back to the Home Depot in Shorewood.

This is my favorite home repair store...I dont like going anywhere else. You cant find a store with more helpful and friendly staff members. They are just amazing!!!!! And unlike other locations they always have the big carts for wood projects available. In some stores you can never find an empty cart because they are storing their stuff on all of them.

This and Menards are my go-to hardware and lumber supplies. Home Depot has self check-out which is great for those emergency hardware needs in the middle of a project. Great selection and prices. Cant beat Ridgid brand after using Milwaukee for decades. Lifetime warranty and tough. Helpful folks and the store is well-staffed and stocked.

Trish angie and Eric are absolute Miracle workers they had all the materials delivered to me next day even though delivery date was showering for a week later! They are the most amazing staff I have ever encountered I will only be back at this location!!

This home depot is the worst. They never have anything in stock. You try and online order even though it says in stock and they cancel your order every time. Bought landscape stone for delivery and when i heard the total it sounded off, so i asked the guy repeatedly at the service desk he gave me rude looks and was short, finally i asked for the receipt and he ordered double what i asked him. Only then was he somewhat apologetic. Too bad this is the closest to my house but i will definitely just not shop there anymore. Not worth the hassle

My mom ordered kitchen appliances and had a LOT of delivery issues with Home Depot. With that being said the assistant manager, Jimmy really came through and helped resolve all the issues we had. He was friendly, and quick to help. We truly are so thankful for his service and the kindness of the staff even though we were so stressed with the issues we had. I would’ve given them a 2 star review but because of the help we had from manager Jimmy i am giving a 3 star.

Staff was very helpful. What one couldnt answer they found someone with more knowledge to help you. I come here mostly because they do a better color match of paint for me, plus I can call it in ahead of time, pay for it and have my contractors just pick it up. I only gave it 4⭐s because my first love is Menards and I felt like I was cheating on them 😂, but they are just as great. A smidge higher on prices, but both have excellent customer service. I recommend them both.

I have a load of holiday plants for them and I called the night before and asked what time I can be there to get unloaded and they said 6am and now Im here and now Im told I have to wait till 7am so now Im wasting a hr out of my day for them and I still have 9 more stops to make

Home Depot is our go to place for home improvement items even if its more spartan than related big stores like it. They dont have an amazing selection but you can find all the basics and this store is in a great location for us.I feel Home Depot shines more in the spring and summer with their garden selections! Nice planters and pots, flowers and veggie plants, etc. Were here a lot when its nice out!

As usual, Home Depot is a disaster these days. I passed no less than 11 employees including four of them clustered right around the entrance and not one of them greeted me. Ironically the only person who greeted me in the entire store was the guy sweeping the floors. Nobody even close to the window covering Department to ask questions about getting blinds cut. Called Menards from home Depot, immediately got someone on the phone, checked stock and was there within 15 minutes to get all four blinds cut. I wish this was an isolated experience but this is every time that I go into Home Depot these days. I dont even know why I bother.

Went to purchase this yesterday.Unfortunately they have sat outside they are filthy! No worries went to a different Home Depot and made the purchase with a nice clean John Deere for $2,400 thank you Joliet Home Depot 4 having them inside

I absolutely LOVE this store! I can ways find what I need and everything has been in stock. The staff is great/friendly, always helpful and knowledgeable, and the store is easily accessible. I should buy stock in this store as I go out of my way to shop here!

Home Depot is home improvement store which Im sure everyone knows that. You can find anything to fix a car or a house tools wise. This location is much much much better than the Joliet one! Its clean and the employees are always super nice. They also give a military discount which is nice!

It is a clean, well-stocked mega-hardware store/lumber yard. Good selection of Dewalt, Mikita, Milwaukee, Black and Decker, Klein, and other tools. The staff, especially the managers, are helpful.

On my visit to this Farwest Joliet location in late February twenty 21. I found there to be plenty of Staff wandering around most of them trying or wanting to be helpful thought the cashiers were largely standing around chatting thats okay but I will comment this store is well stocked with a wide variety. There are some really nice desk type lamps they had that are nice and tall by 21 in or taller which is much shorter than the standard 17 to 15 inch lamp you find online nowadays. So thats worth checking out. They hsd ice melter in stock and this winter thats a rare item in some places. However their bathrooms were out of order and they had their customers using porta potties outside in zero temperatures so Im not so sure what thats all about but over and all pretty good store and nice people

I went to this Home Depot for some needed items for decorating for Christmas. I needed several items, but unsure of where to find some of them. I approached a young man named Antonio who was busy stocking shelves in the light bulb area. I interrupted him and he politely answered my questions and found the exact items I needed. At the same time another shopper was looking for similar items and Antonio helped him as well. I could not have been more pleased with this experience ! Antonio is a credit to Home Depot. Purchased flooring, had to wait to get attention. They do not have enough staff. Experience with delivery was horrible. Delivery time is between 6 am and 8 pm. No respect for consumer time.

They dont stock this store as much as others in the area. The lumber is always in poor condition.

Looking at a clearance Christmas tree. The associate who helped me with it could not have been more helpful. she moved things around found plugs and found a manager when I had a question. I dont know her name but she was awesome. She was working in the clearance section of the Christmas department on January 5th

Went for a few different things.

My refrigerator died after the severe storms yesterday knocked out my power. I found it frustrating trying to purchase a new appliance. Best Buy had no power. Menards wont deliver inside the house, does not have free delivery, and was more expensive in general. The associate at Home Depot was very friendly and helped me with exactly what i needed. Very easy process. I will go to Home Depot first for any major purchases in the future.

Curbside pickup was smooth and quick. The spots are numbered and a quick call to the store with my spot number and a few minutes later my items were outside. The most difficult part was finding the pick up zone. The storms last night took down most of their signage. However, I was there around 5:30 the following day. Plenty of time to do a quick reattach.

Home Depot doesnt allow customers to use Samsung Pay any more. I have used it there for years, not any more.I asked the lady at the check out about it not working. She was really rude and snotty with her response .Used to shop at Home Depot alot, not any more if that is how they are going to treat customers.

Home depot is amazing! They always go above and beyond!We stopped an employee for help and after scanning the sku he informed us that the product we wanted was out of stock. He then did something that we did not expect... he checked nearby locations and found what we wanted at another site. Nooo he did not stop there...he called that location and asked that they pull the items for us and hold at the customer service counter!EVERYONE is so friendly and helpful here. After the gentleman left us (we had to assure him there was nothing else he could help us with before he would leave us) we asked the lady at the customer service counter if it would be possible to speak to the store manager so we could let him know what a great experience we had.... well.... she informed us, that in fact, the person that had made us feel like we were the only people in the store WAS the manager!!!Wow this kind man surely does lead by example!!! We would never go anywhere elseHOME DEPOT ROCKS!!!!!❤P.S. the oh so important product we were looking for ...... a 12ft halloween skeleton ...hardly a needed item ...but they made sure we got it!!

For a store that has everything, be careful if you want something too particular... Like an ignitor for your oven. Theyll humor you and still help you try and find it though.

First time there and it was very busy and store was cluttered with merchandise and hard to move around.

How good is this store? They never tell you to find their app, open it, and find it yourself. They direct you to the app, show you how to check inventory and location of the product in the store, then walk with you to make sure you find it and to answer any question you might have. Check out screen is a 27 touchscreen. You cant go wrong there to verify your items. LOL.

I dont always receive good service at this facility but today was a very good visit. I received excellent help from a gentleman in lumber that appeared to be a manager and follow up service from a giant of a man that cut my plywood sheet. He was extremely polite and provided excellent service.

I was buying Milwaukee M18 cordless brad nailer, if you have problem with people stealing and you locking everything make sure there is somebody to unlock so people dont have to look for somebody for 20 minutes!!!!!!!!

Brittany in APPLIANCES was so much help! She was very kind and attentive to all my questions and concerns! She should definitely be moved up to a management position! You don’t find great customer service everywhere so it was a blessing to have her help today!

This particular Home Depot is usually a pleasant experience. The staff is friendly and for the most part helpful. It does get a bit crowded on weekends.
