The only reason theyre getting 1 star, is because zero stars wasnt an option. The owner wanted to Give me $20 on a pair of $300 plus skates that were in great condition. (My son outgrew them in about 6 months) He also made it sound as though he was doing me a favor in doing so. Id rather give them away then let him make a profit! I wouldnt waste your time trying to sell used equipment, or purchase anything new in this particular store. Also, all new equipment sold here is entry-level garbage!
I have a young pro athlete in the making, but he out grows his equipment so fast that Play it Again Sport makes it more feasible to keep up with my sons equipment needs.
This place is HORRIBLE! Hand writes checks to buy your stuff. Call and tell him his bank won’t cash the check and says to come back and won’t make it right!! Who writes checks when buying someone’s stuff. Obviously people need the cash! Go to another location they will give you cash! This Owner is arguementive- is extremely condescending and careless! His bank wouldn’t even cash the check. What does that tell you! Be very careful accepting a check from this scam!
Huge selection of everything I drive over an hour and a half just to go here for all my hockey needs these dudes are awesome
Had what I needed, but didnt buy it because I could have done without the person behind the counter having a talk with how it think was his girlfriend about how he did or didnt pay rent. Odd enough to have that talk in the middle of the room, stranger because the store had like 8 people in it and then theres the facts that he was on speaker phone... Just all together strange.
Beware if you are trying to sell any used item. Owner of the store will try to trade something from his store and if you are not ready to purchase anything from his store then he will make all sorts of excuses not to buy your stuff. This store has very poor collection of items anyway. Dont bother to go their either to sell or buy stuff, its complete waste of time.
Sales guy was a little strange and awkward. Items seemed a little over priced for used stuff. Feel like a garage sale would be way cheaper than shopping here. Left with nothing.
Great coworkers and amazing selections they all very friendly and I would recommend coming their amazing volleyballs
Good selection, but kids working the store were way more interested in their friends hanging out than the customers.
Love PIAS great place to exchange equipment as fast as kids grow
Great service prices are pretty decent
I called in to bring in my broken baseball bat. They said yes so then I came and they said that they would exchange it. They couldnt because I bought it in the Naperville one. I understood why they couldnt. They were about to exchange it. The Play it again in Naperville is horrible. Dont go there. Come to the friendly one in Shorewood.
Good selection, picked up some equipment for the kids
Big selection, good prices, knowledgeable & helpful staff.
Talked to Ken about bringing in some equipment and Ken had an additude while speaking on the phone, seemed like he didn’t want my business so he won’t get it anymore. 🤷🏼♂️ Spent nearly $600 this past year in weight lifting and baseball equipment.
I drove 2 hours to get here after planning to meet the owner to buy ski equipment. I got here and the owner didn’t show up and nobody in the store knew about ski’s to give me a price so I left.
Great staff, good inventory!
Lazy employees to busy chatting to help and no pricing on any items that we looked at.
