May of 2021 I took my bike in for service because it was having electrical troubles. While the motorcycle was being serviced, I received a call asking if they could remove the stator cover. To further check the system. Well eventually, they said the issue was fixed and I could pick up my bike. The bike sat for about 6 weeks due to work and weather. When I did eventually ride the motorcycle, I got on the interstate and a bolt flew out my motor. G&C Honda and it’s owner Jim denied any wrongdoing and said “Oh well”. So now I have to repair something that one of their tech/mechanics fail to tighten. A .50 cent bolt is going to cost me $3k+.
A. I inquired online (I live 2 1/2 hours away) and a salesperson replied within 3hours. She answered all my questions and OFFERED alternatives. If SALES is this customer oriented, service after the sale must be awesome. As soon as they show a trike, they will have right of first refusal.
Made an appointment to test drive, drove in from out of town to find out the bike Im wanting to buy isnt there. A call, message, or any communication would have been nice so I didnt waste my time and fuel. Its clear, communication isnt a strong point for these guys. If youre planning on coming in, better find a way to make sure the machine you want is there before you make the drive. Bike was apparently in a wearhouse somewhere which was closed.
Beware.... they will price gouge if they know you are having a hard time finding the ATV they have in stock. They will play like they are trying to help, then hit you with the excessive fees right before the deal is closing. It’s sad that’s the way Honda allows some of their dealers to act. I thought Honda was a better brand than that. Just because you say they are standard fees doesn’t mean they are. I have purchased from many different dealerships and none of them charged as excessive fees as G&C sent over. Beware before you get to committed, they will try to get as much money out of you as possible.

I came here to get fitted for a new helmet and was referred to the in store helmet specialist. I told her what I was looking for and that my previous helmet was a XXL. I tried a few on and found one I liked, the HJC I90. While riding home I noticed the helmet I bought fit was a little looser than the one I tried on in store. When I got home and started looking at the paperwork that came with the helmet I noticed a size chart; these helmets run a size smaller than my previous one. According to my head size I should have had a XL.Update: G&C called me back and offered a new helmet in the right size. I’m very impressed at the level of customer service to ensure that I was satisfied. I will be back to G&C and would recommend to anyone. Thanks guys!!!!
Great dealership. No customer service issues. Everyone was polite and friendly. A little bit of a sticker shock for a service. $200.00 was a little much for me to stomach (2017 Honda Rancher) when you can get you car serviced for $60.00.

Ive visited this location four times (two prior to covid)looking for common replacement parts for two different motorcycles and they havent had them. The attitude displayed is they really dont care if you get parts or not. No offer to help locate or even order. The only thing youll hear is we dont have it.
Great people to deal with. Purchased 2 dirt bikes and it was quick. They were willing to prep if we could wait a little while longer but we had another appointment that we had to keep. Picked them up the next day. Awesome Honda dealership!

Saturday afternoon one of the Goldwings traveling with us had a flat on I-49 just south of Shreveport.I pulled the rear wheel by laying the bike on its side in the grass.When we aired it up it had 2 of the biggest knots I ever saw on a bike tire. It was obvious we needed a new tire quickly or our trip was ruined.I took the wheel to G&C after strapping it down on my back seat.From the time I entered the store everyone asked what I needed and sent me to the right person to take care of my problem.I told Melissa I needed a new tire. She found a Bridgestone and did the paperwork and said I could pick It up next week.I apologized and explained I didn’t give her all the info. I needed it right now because the bike was on I49 and our trip would be ruined besides the fact we couldn’t leave the bike laying in the grass over the weekend. She went to talk to David, explained our position and he said he would take care of it even though it was almost quitting time.In just a few minutes he was done, Melissa finished the paperwork and I was on my way back to the bike.I put the wheel back on and we were back on the road.If it hadn’t been for Melissa and David 6 old guys would have had our trip ruined.I talked to David for a few minutes and it’s obvious he knows what he’s doing. Being a Goldwing mechanic myself I can tell real quick if someone knows what they are talking about. He does.Thanks G&C for taking care of us.Jay.
Brought my cb1100 in on Thursday for an oil change and inspection due to bike sitting for 5 months. Saw no less than 6 people, none of whom said anything to me. Service manager continued his conversation upon me walking up to the counter. Fine. Received call aft 40 mins that bike was done. Returned later in afternoon to pick up. Asked for printout on what was done and how much labor was per hr. Discovered that I was being overcharged for labor, despite the bike being worked on for about 30-35 mins. Asked if the rate was rounded up or if it was posted anywhere. Was told all that should have been covered when I booked the appt, which it was not. Manager was called who proceeded to belittle and insult me while his employee jumped in. Decided not to engage and for some reason was given a discount. General lack of feeling unwelcomed, focus on atvs, and overall poor customer service will not have me coming back.

Bill and his staff are totally awesome. When I told my husband to go see Bill he told me I was crazy. Now sits a Honda Fury in our front yard. The price was very affordable, and it is as fast or faster than a 110 Harley motor. Maybe even faster than the 114 Harley came out with. If you do some research Honda Fury bikes hold their value much better than an Harley Davidson. My husband says he will never buy another Harley again. Great service and great price. Cant beat them.

Recently took my Pioneer 1000 in for service and G&C Honda was very quick. Brought it in and it was ready at the end of the next day. Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. Had a recall on my sxs that the service writer informed me about that I didnt even know about. They fixed it along with the original service.

Called two days in a row at multiple times. Trying to speak with someone in the parts department. Left message no return call. Service department is a joke. Finally drove up to g&c asked for part we don’t carry that in stock. Took literally 30 seconds to look up part. Like I said lazy a$$ ppl can’t return a call.

Excellent service. The lead guy in the shop really knows how to not only fix it right but went way out of his way to ensure I was taken care of. Hard to find that now days. Clean shop as well. After taking my bike under warranty back to H and W in Marshall they could not get the job done nor did they try to stand by the product they sold. Instead H and W said they would get back to me and never did. Well guess what G and C figured it out for you and earned my future business!! Thanks G and C!! Ill deff be back. Terrible customer service. I purchased a Honda PCX 150 from this dealership about two years ago and was looking for a new one. I walked into the dealership and was never greeted. I looked around and was not asked if I needed help. Every business should try to make customer service a priority.

Bought a 2015 brand new out of the box in 2017. Had a few minor warranty issues. Possible oil leak and brake adjustments. I was told to leave it for a couple days. So, I dropped it off on my way out of town for a weeks vacation. When I got back, (yes you guessed it). NOTHING WAS DONE!!! I was told it would be a few more days before they could look at it. I then call for the store manager. That was November of 2018 (to this date he has not returned my call). They are great with the customer before the buy but terrible after the buy!!! I highly recommend a honda, but I definitely do not recommend this dealership!!!

I bought a new 680 rincon from G&C last December and I knew then that I was going to be glad I chose them. I couldn’t ask for a better experience in any way. Sense then I have had my 650 rincon and my 500 foreman rubicon in their shop for repair and I received the same prompt courteous service. In days I got a call that each was ready for pickup.....I was amazed. Great dealership to do business with.

I had been wanting to get a bike for a while. I went to the dealership a couple of times to look around before they got the 2013 Honda Shadow Spirit 750 I just bought from them. The sales agents didnt push me to buy and they were pretty friendly. At the moment I dont have my motorcycle endorsement so my dad got to ride it home, but he definitely enjoyed riding the bike.

I made my first trip to G&C Honda on July 25, 2019.being a new rider with little to no experience riding a bike, and a fat guy on top of that. I was greeted irregardless of weight and race. The staff were warm and welcoming people. Also, they seem to really want to help you get on your first bike or the next upgrade. If your a new rider, or ever in lousiana and are also in the Shreveport boiser area I recommend highly recommend stopping by.

Took my 2019 420 rancher to get its first service and it was completed in a timely manor and i was very satisfied with the work done and customer service.
The secretary said Hi... then nothing for 45min walking around from not one salesman. One was busy but the others were more worried about shooting the bull. Wont be back. I liked the new Honda set ups though. Theyve came a long way. I could have bought one but Ill find someone professional so I know Ill get the right deal.
I was on the road between Atlanta, GA and Dallas, TX on a cross country trip with my new Africa Twin. I really didnt want to go too many miles more without an oil change so I stopped in with full intention of grabbing oil and a filter to do it in a parking lot somewhere. These guys, specifically Tyler the service guy, took outstanding care of me. Price was less than a hundred bucks and I was in and out in 30 minutes for them to do the oil change for me. I got some fresh hot coffee and hung out for a minute. Top notch service, price and hospitality. Stop in here if you ride Honda anywhere near Shreveport, Lousiana. They even had the tip on where the good Cajun food was nearby for lunch!

Took my bike in to re thread a spark plug that I had crossthreaded and do a check up on it. Took three weeks for them to get that done and find out I needed to have an additional $2100 worth of work done to get it running due to carbon buildup. I was told around the second week that I would receive a discount due to the fact it had been so long before they could look at it, and when I went to pay for the spark plug job, they told me they only gave discounts on parts, not labor. Got the bike home and after almost deciding to post it, I thought I might give it a try to start it. After about a minute and a half of struggling,it started right up. Technician must not have been very willing to fix it.... They did get the spark plug rethreaded, but after reading the great reviews for this place, I expected a little better customer service. I will not be doing business with them again.

Kristine was extremely helpful, but access to the business was awful due to the traffic! I could imagine trying to pull out with a trailer, when it was back up with people trying to cross over the bridge.

Jeff and Jason in the parts department are the main reason I choose to go to G&C Honda. Theyre very friendly, they help you in any way they can, and they know what theyre talking about. Other places I go to (though I havent been to them all), arent as good, and I usually have to ask for the catalog to find the part Im looking for myself. If they also sold Kawasaki, I would never go to another store.
