The store was very organized, clean and had just what I wanted!

I was in the store for an hour and actually had to check out before anyone spoke to me. They had a good selection of ladies shorts and tops to choose from. The young lady who checked me out was very friendly and did a great job of enticing me to get a credit card with them.

Employee like a guard at the door. And honestly the clothes/shoes/accessories seemed to be more geared towards the older crowd. Not to mention expensive for NO reason. 👎🏾

This place is terrible. Not the actual store, but the business. It has nothing geared towards women in their 40s. You either need to be 15 or 80 to buy something. Its freaking weird. I used to buy all my clothes here until a few years ago.

J C Penney..looking for casual gowns for older women. Couldnt find any. Lots of pretty clothes for other occasions.

Really has gone downhill. Mens T-shirts and underwear had little inventory and was in TOTAL disarray. Hard to find any one size. Mens socks had lots of inventory but were strewn around in 5 different displays and all over the floor. It looked like a kids room, having to step over or walk around the small piles on the floor.

The place was dead on a Friday night and they closed at 7. We waited for 10 minutes behind one person to check out. They will likely not been in business much longer. I hate that, it used to be a nice place.

This is by far the worst costumer service I have ever received. Employees are lazy not wanting to help me. I purchased an item last week. I didnt bring the receipt because I did not want my money back,I just needed the credit because I was going to buy another item. I paid $20 for the item on 2-18-20. The item is still selling for $20 but theyre only willing to give me $7 for it. I know for a fact that they can look at the history on their transactions for that date for that specific bar code and verify how much I paid for it and reverse the transaction or at least give me the $20 credit. I WILL NEVER shop at this store. The lady standing in the front looks stupid,what is she doing there? 0 stars.

Went in the salon to get my hair done and the treatment was awesome! I had my 5 y/o niece with me and they accommodated her so that she would be able to sit next to me! I highly recommend Niecy Broomfield she is very knowledgeable and makes sure that you leave with a smile on your face! Shes awesome!

Got an air dryer for 29.99 after rebate

I cant shop inside the store. It is so hot in there come winter time. Its 70 degrees here in Louisiana in December and the store has their heaters running. I do shop online

Very good shopping trip today. Found a few deals, had to really dig for them. Came out with some nice items but nothing I went in to look for. I will call that trip a win. The only problem I find with the store is there isnt any kind of organization to the clothing.

Youree Drive location needs some help. Waited in line more than 15 minutes just to be told that I had to go to the back of the store for a return. Waited another 10 minutes for money to be brought so they could give another customer her change. Have no desire to return to that location

I was shopping Black Friday and waited in line to check out. It was a wait, but not bad. The cashiers were friendly so the wait didn’t seem as bad. But as I walked away I saw they had rang up an extra pair of pants. I turned back before they even called the next person. The guy apologized and said go to the back for return, it will be fast no wait like here. I went straight back only to find a long line with people with buggies full of stuff checking out. I said is this where I do return. The lady standing there said yes. She wasn’t pleasant at all. She goes and opens another register and proceeds to check out instead of doing returns. I asked for a manager and the guy called for him. I hear them on walkie talkie and he asks if someone could handle it because he was busy with drops. The girl with attitude answers that she was taking care of it. Needless to say I was livid! Then this sweet lady, Joe came and took me up front to do my refund. If not for her, I would have given 1 star! She was the best.

Couldnt find ANYONE to help us. Then when we did she was New and sent me to the front of store to get help. We ended up leaving after 20 minutes of walking around looking for an employee to help us. We even went to jewelry counter and asked for help in boys department. Ill shop online for this store location from now on.

We got a pretty good discount on the clothes they just need more variety. We love the Lady in front as you walk in she was so sweet, and the cashier was a very kind.

Great selection of all sorts of things, including bathroom decor. I found the perfect rugs for my kids bathroom and they were on sale! I got an amazing deal adding the RetailMeNot ten dollar off coupon to my purchase as well. And the cashier was incredibly pleasant and cheerful!

I approach the counter to return some items and was the first customer of that morning to do so. It was obvious that the cashier was not having a good morning. After talking to her a few moments and asking her to have a good day, she cheered right up. I must say she provided awesome, great service. She made suggestions on things that I might want to get for Christmas. As far as Im concerned, she went over and Beyond the Call of Duty and I greatly appreciate her help and her service

On this visit service was good. Helpful.

They did not have any prices on any of their vacuums, no prices on any shelves. I had to wait for an employee to come by and he also saw no prices. I had to wait for him to go find a scanner to price them.

I have read the other reviews and I am sorry about their experience, However, I have only had great experiences at this store. The associates are always friendly and helpful. I have never had an opinion, good or bad, about JCPenney in the past, but I have really liked the store on Youree. I like the products, the prices, and the people working in this store. I want to thank David who helped me with an online order I had failed to complete. He and the ladies at the service desk were all very helpful and kind. I very much appreciate their patience with me and helping get my order placed.

Several of the associates that helped me were wonderful!! Every once in a while I ran into an associate that didnt seem very interested, but for the most part they were very helpful. That being said the way that they have the line set up here is AWEFUL. Every time I go in and I just want to pick up one small thing I have to wait in line forever. Its not really worth it to me anymore.

Found the Perfect Homecoming Dress at the last minute

Lots of employees playing around. Cashiers were hard to find. Customer service was sparce.I witnessed a customer requesting to see the manager in the shoe department. Twelve minutes later, she showed up and asked What do you want? Customer was obviously put off, so they left the store.The conduct of the employees definitely reflected the attitude of the manager.

I ordered a mattress when I was in the store on August 24th. It’s sept 18th now, I have no mattress and jcp has taken almost 3k of my money. I have no idea what to do at this point. I keep getting referred to 800 numbers to generic reps who tell me varying things and say I’ll “get a refund in 3-5 business days” but that doesn’t happen. Every time I call they repeat that line over, saying it wasn’t done the time before......Do not order a mattress or really anything that is expensive from jcp... good luck getting your money back if you never receive the item.
