Brought my car in for what I thought would require a complete tire change. They were able to patch the hole and it cost me almost nothing. Service was great and friendly! I highly suggest making an appointment beforehand as it let me avoid any wait.
Brought it here because my daily needed an alignment after fixing the driver side control arm didnt give me a alignment sheet when I picked up the car and car still doesnt drive straight. Anyway guy named Madi is always bring attitude my way for the lifetime alignments suggesting other stores to go to. Despite the fact that the other stores I go to have poor service except for the one in Natick which always gets my alignment right after three tries(which is fine because the daily I drive has a unique control arm set up it is domestic vehicle though)The one in Fitchburg left my both my eccentric bolts on driverside(the ones that holds my control arm on the car) hand tight on my miata which is a big deal because I autox that car and failed to inform me that the wheel bearing had exploded apart with back race popping out of the car(I didnt notice because it was put away for the winter and that was its first time back out in spring) discovered it on the drive home. Anyway if you are a DIY or mechanically inclined in anyway I would suggest steering clear of this place I only typically use it for emergency(because it is the closest), but the last time I brought it there they failed to notice a failing ball joint on the passenger side during alignment check despite being present with a previous alignment sheet showing the driver side hadnt shifted but the passenger side on the alignment check did could of easily offered a service there, but hey more money for me I guess. Anyway the service advisor before that was fine and accommodated, but Madi was pretty much extra today I guess. Anyway not rendering any future services from this place at this point. 👍
We got a flat tire driving back to New Jersey after dropping off my sister at college. Had to spend the night at a hotel and was stressed about getting back home. Luckily our hotel was very close to this Firestone Auto. We got it towed to this location and they fixed it in under an hour. Amazing customer service, highly recommend!
I had a flat tire on my car. Triple A brought our car to this location. I waited for 5 hours! Just for employees to say they couldn’t help us because they didn’t have a tire. That’s not cool! I waisted my whole day just for nothing! They need to change the process of management. I understand that there were people before us. They should tell us the price and ask for what kind of tire they need BEFORE they get to our car.
The guy up front was nice and courteous, however as far as the work goes they did not do all that was offered. I had new tires put on and with that they are suppose to do a free alignment check and replace tpms sensors. The sensors were never replaced and as far as the alignment check goes, my car was never put on a machine and the alignment check bwas done by eye. Will not go back there seeing as how they can not be bothered to do the things that are offered with their service.
Nice guy at the front. Was charged for installation even though I wasnt suppose to to be charged.
So fat, so good. Manager very accommodating.
Made an appointment at 1pm for an Oil Change, got there on time and sat in the waiting room. Waited 25 minutes after checking in, so I just left and went to Valvoline for 2$ more expensive. Customer Service is weak and feels like nobody wants to be there. 1 star, somebody else can do the job.
Always a great experience!
Horrible place. Made a reservation got a confirmation arrived and they couldn’t find it. But that isn’t even the issue. The person there treated me very rudely. Can’t understand why anyone would ever go here
Work was done well but the front is unorganized and give off the feeling of not caring about the customers. One of the men in the front went to lunch and the only other man in the front spent at least 45 min in the bays talking to the techs. Unfortunately would not recommend this Firestone location to others.
I dont post reviews but I dont think I will be coming back to this location. Here are some things that happened: 1) Called for appointment, told them tomorrow (Tuesday) at 2 PM, confirmed appointment. Show up at 2 PM the next day and they tell me that my appointment is really Wednesday.... I ended up just keeping the Wednesday. Thats fine. 2) When I called, they asked whether my CR-V was an LX or EX. Told them LX, but they still put EX on the form. 3) I needed the paperwork as proof I was out of state to waive emissions testing. They got the VIN (and my name) wrong on the receipt. Okay, thats fine. I walk back in and ask them to correct it. Apparently since the transaction has already gone through, they cant print another receipt... At the end of the day, the people I spoke with were professional (I asked if they would write a note explaining they got the VIN wrong, etc., and they did), but I definitely prefer more attention to detail. I have had much better experiences elsewhere - unfortunately, the place I liked best just closed down.
Ive been to this firestone many times over the years but Im not coming back to this location.I went in for an alignment which they couldnt do because of a couple issues, which I knew would happen, I just wanted to know what I had to fix. When I got my car back one of the lug nuts on my front driver-side tire was different. I went back inside to talk to the guy up front and it was like talking to a 4 year old. He just kept denying it and saying why would they do that. He didnt even try to figure out if one of the guys out back was lying. All he did was stick his head through the window and ask if someone messed with the tires on the Mazda. This happened on 4/23/2020 at 4:10pm, during the virus lock down so there were no cars there.I know this happened at this firestone location because I walk by that tire every day when Im getting in my car. I wouldve noticed a different lug nut on my driver side front tire when I was getting in my car to head to firestone. Im also the only person who works on this car, I just go to firestone to get alignments.Im giving 3 stars because this location had been good in the past but I havent been there in almost 8 months.Update: Firestone corporate did reach out to me and replaced all the lugs on my car as well at replace the stud that got stripped from the different lug nut that was put on my car.
I like Firestone. Very friendly and knowledgeable personnel.
Dropped by the Shrewsbury Firestone on Christmas Eve 2020Neighbors next door to me have been doing construction and I picked up a nail in my front drivers wheelParked in the back walked in, Jeff at the front desk took great care of me. Told me it shouldnt be too long of a wait. I enjoyed their lovely waiting room for a quick moment and then went outside for a walk. The technician assigned to me was also named Jeff. I had a brief discussion with him when I saw him outside getting into my carI was hoping he could check all the tires for any signs of and a put air in all. He was happy to oblige and took great care of my TrailhawkI highly recommend if you need Auto Care to drop by Shrewsbury Firestone.
One repair shop where you are almost always guaranteed to never pay less than you hope.
Very professional, very easy, honest prices and honest service. Definitely recommend 👍
The only guys open on a Sunday afternoon, they were nice and professional. The manager Angel was extremely helpful.Thank you guys.
Dan and David the store manager has went out of their way to make me feel as a valued customer and performed excellent service on my vehicle. The oversight of these two gentlemen really drive the point home of there being a service company the consumer can trust. Thank you Firestone for such great example of service experience.
Fixed leak in tire fine but didn’t fix license plate lights after I told them they were out. Said all lights were working fine. Go to drive off the lot and the license plate lights are clearly still out.
Nice service give you advice about your car but do not try to over sell on repairs
Never been inside but when I walked past the mechanics were working diligently.
Had a 1pm appointment for tires and alignment. Dropped my car off and overheard (was not told by the person helping me) they were short a person and things were running a little slower than usual. Waited for call and finally went back to check on it at 4:30. It hadnt even been taken in yet! They pulled it in while I was there. Was told an hour should do it. Finally finished at 5:45 - with a 1pm appointment. Alignment didnt get done because we needed a part they didnt have on hand. Gave us a quote for that along with a few other things to come back for. Complained about the wait and was told to talk to the manager the next time we came in and they would hook us up. Nothing but an Youre right. It shouldnt have taken that long. Very disappointed. Also not clear on costs up front. We asked about tires and the cost to replace them - tire price plus $12.99 fee is what we were told. But there were several other fees that were not discussed up front - tire disposal fee (in some places that is part of the service fee per tire), warranty fee, some other fee - literally nearly $35 per tire on top of that $12.99. Likely wont be back to Firestone.
Unbelievabley slow..I had a appointment at 9:00 AM for a simple oil change and ended up sitting in the lobby for nearly two hours! I would not recommend this place to anybody.
Well... I call a day before to ask how much was to get my car a 4 wells alignment and also if I needed to make an appointment In the morning for it. A person named Dan answer the phone and said the price and the most important part: YOU DONt NEED AN APPOINTMENT BECAUSE WE ARE SLOW IN THE MORNING. I said ok, I will see you tomorrow, thanks.I got there around 9 am and another guy named David ( apparently the manager) was there, I present myself and I asked for the service then he asked me if I had an appointment and I said no because I called the day before asking for pricing and to see if I need a appointment and the person said no. Long story short, I couldnt remember the name of the person at the time and totally unprofessionally DAVID said WELL I DONT KNOW TOO! I thought he was so rude. My point is, I call to get information and a person who works there should be more then capable to give me the RIGHT INFORMATION.They made me waist my time and instead of Trying to fix it and/or accommodate a new and LOCAL costumer,DAVID engaged on a light verbal discussion. I just wanna point couple things : This place will never get my business . This manager is far away to know what a good costumer service is.I hope this review is an opportunity for growth and change.
An organized auto store
An appointment to get your tire plugged? I never heard of such a thing. It takes 3 mins to complete. First and last time coming here. Had to wait 15 mins for someone to tell me they couldnt do it without any appointment.
Went out of my way to go here because they have a good tire machine. Brought in my wheels and new tires. They refused to mount my brand new tires because I removed the stickers. Guy said it was company policy, was rude about it too. Tires were obviously brand new. If you dont want my money thats your problem. I used to recommend this location. Not anymore.
Went there today for the secont time. The alignment guys were great. Jeff and Steve did a great job on my custom drift spec alignment. Cars running straight. I recommend this place if you need a top notch alignment.
Made an 11 am Saturday appointment for a simple oil change; by 1:15, they hadnt even moved my car into the garage. Was told that we could wait but it would be over an hour. Whats the point of making an appointment if youre going to have to wait anyways? Service was not pleasant or friendly and prices were high for the area. Will not be returning.
Always courteous, helpful, and knowledgeable. Prices can’t be beat. And even then they’ll add discounts where they can. Love the detailed emailed service receipts. And the company credit card, easier to get approved and it’s great to have something that’s solely for car repairs/service. (Do wish the card website was better designed; as well as the existence of an app for the card; the Firestone app could really use a proper redesign and better functionality- for one it’d be great if you could add your vehicle by VIN so that everything on it were easily available). Also apparently they’ll do oil changes for like $20 - I’ve not gone there for that yet, but definitely will from now on.The free tire rotation for their tires is great, the $9.99 cost otherwise is also a great deal. And they’re knowledgeable about working on my Prius, not many places are, it’s nice to have an option other than the official Toyota dealership (which is much more expensive and less able/willing to price match and/or arbitrarily discount).
Ive taken my Subaru here probably six times. Every time it seems to get slightly worse. Even though I schedule an appointment my car sits in the lot for an hour until it is brought in the shop. Most of the time I find their staff to be polite and informative. Most of the time the maintenance they do on my car is done right. Ive enjoyed coming here in the past but Im afraid soon Ill have to take my cars elsewhere.
They are some really great guys that have helped me out on a few occasions. They are all wonderful gentlemen with Dan being my up and forward guy.
The service was great, fasted and professional. The customer service manager was very helpful and honest. I will go back and recommend anothers to go there first. I went to other tire service place, they was not able to help me the way Firestone, they did a great job for the low price.
I have only had positive experiences with this (and all Firestone) locations. I use them for tire services: buy online and have them install. Lifetime balance and alignment are great services. They have top quality balancing and alignment equipment.
I always come to this location for anything related to my vehicle. The staff is very friendly and willing to go the extra mile to help you out.Highly recommended.
Its been a roll of the dice Ive been a few times some good service other times not so good service will be going back most likely s it stands although....
They have a strange system where you make an appointment online, but it then goes through a review period and you actually dont have an appointment. So I made the appointment for 3pm, arrived at 2:30pm and was told I didnt have one. Never received anything saying I didnt have one. Then the following day received an email that my appointment was approved. Wish I could go back in time...They always find something to upsell on the services, and the guys there try and pressure you to do it with timed deals you only get if you do it that day. Hated dealing with them, and not going back again.
Bought 4 new tires at a good price from a friendly salesman and got them installed quickly. Then they inflated them with the wrong pressure and now I have to fix it myself. Guys, you could have had a return customer and a 5 star review! Read the tire pressure label on the drivers side door next time.
Very good service, staff is friendly and helpful. Will take time to explain issues honestly. Also they found issues here that other places didnt find. ASE certified mechanics. Prices are good market price in comparison to other local services. Definitely a place I would go again.
Always take care of me and everyone I have recommended.. Must have been a management / front end change because I saw the reviews on here and none of them make sense. Never experienced a hard sell ever but also understand it is a sales driven business. Best alignment ive had
I hit a pot hole, & my front tire went flat immediately. I went to Firestone because I had their credit card & wanted the 6 months to pay option. I opted for 4 new tires & a front end alignment. Got out on the highway & there was a strong vibration coming thru the steering wheel. Went back & they told me I needed new front struts, $1400. Yikes! Decided to get a second opinion. I went Worcester muffler & brake & they said my struts were fine but I should get a front end alignment. I thought to myself, I Just Had That Done at Firestone. Long story short, after ruining another pair of tires, I went to NTB and got a second front end alignment. Now my car is fine. So either Firestone was trying to scam me or theyre completely incompetent, who knows. All I know is I will never go there ever again.
The guys here at the Shrewsbury Firestone are awesome! I have had nothing but great experiences. Everyone has taken good care of not only my car but me as well and have informed me every step of the way about what’s happening, what will need to be done, and has answered all of my questions. They have worked with me and have been patient, that even when I’ve had a big job to be done on my car, they are positive and encouraging. I recently had an unfortunate event happen with my vehicle and the first people I wanted to look at my car were the guys here at Firestone in Shrewsbury. Definitely worth the visit and they will take care of you. They care about your safety and well-being of you and your vehicle. They are FANTASTIC!
I like to save money and I like a good deal. I also believe that i should not have to sacrifice service or quality to get a good deal. I think that is a myth by companies that overcharge to make a higher margin on the exact same service or product.I looked at Firestone and Meineke to get my Yaris oil change done. Firestone simply overcharges. If i wanted to pay a premium price for an oil change I would go to the Toyota Dealership.
Absolutely mess. I drop off my car today (Sunday) at 9:30 for oil change and tire rotation and went to pick up at 4:45 because they close at 5:00pm, answer was we are running behind schedule. Whoever is in charge of this Firestone should fire all customer service representatives because they have no clue what’s going on for over booking. Oil change and tire rotation should not take more than 30 minutes. They had my car for more than 6 hours and couldn’t do oil change. They should fire all customer service representatives and hire who knows how to deal with customer.
My alignment was slightly harder than other cars because you cant adjust it with the tires on, they worked with me got it done the right way and still only charged me for a normal alignment even though it took a bit longer. Extremely satisfied, great service, friendly staff was recommended to them by other people in the car scene.
Upon leaving I noticed my hood open light on my car. They did not even close the hood properly. I had to pull over on the side of the road, at night, in order to secure my car. When I asked about pricing, they did not mention the $25.00 charge to look over car. They only mentioned the rust near my brakes, which exist on EVERY car in New England. It part of the climate.I sent a similar message to Firestone, and waited two weeks before posting this. They have still not responded.I would never allow anybody I know to go there, knowing at best they cannot even close a hood properly.
Very friendly. We had an appointment and they took us right on time. Knowledgeable staff
Dan and Dave were very accommodating on a short notice for me to get some tires swapped, mounted, and balanced. If youre worried about your wheels getting scuffed or scratched, Jeff knows what he is doing and will make sure that doesnt happen. Would reccomend them to anyone. Thanks again guys.
Dont have much to say since I left that place to minutes after I went inside. I am not convinced I should pay three times as much for poor customer service
Great Experience, Dan really helped out and got me better tires for less money then their competitors.
They overcharge. If you argue re the price, they tend to make fun. Two star for convenient location.
High prices in comparison to competitors, and you have to know what youre talking about to ensure you dont get swindled. Also very slow for even minor services. It takes almost a whole day to simply swap out tires; and thats WITH an appointment. Update: the lifetime balance and alignment is a gimick, and theyll overcharge you in a heartbeat. Last time Im coming here... The most recent visit; they overcharged me (to replace a tire that they screwed up to begin with). On top of it; they left my car window open overnight, so that even if it didnt rain; someone could steal anything out of my car.
I need a wheel alignment and tire balancing, the staff was courteous and helpful got me in quickly.
Slow service and bad quality. Dont waste your time or money. Bought a brand new tire from them, one day later the tire was completely flat. When I brought my car back them, they told me that the brand new tire also had a nail on it and I was being charged $30 to get it fixed. Never coming back here.
TERRIBLE!! I stood there for over 10 minutes nobody ever even greeted me! There were 2 workers in the. Some guy in the office on the phone. The only person who greeted me was an Advanced Auto Parts guy who was also waiting around. I walked out and went down the street. Absolutely ridiculous!!!
Decent service. Took a good deal longer than promised, but no biggie.
Very pleased with Firestone. At 5:45PM (Friday night) I called to see if they could fit me in for a tire alignment as I had work the next 7 days without a time in between when I could go. My tires had been pulling to the left and my steering wheel was crooked when driving straight. I was worried that my tread was going to be ruined if I let the problem persist. They told me that if I got there by 615 -they close at 7- (a half hour from when I called) that I could come in and they would give me a tire alignment. I was there at 6:05 and in less than 45 minutes they had it done ready for me to leave. There prices were the same or less than most places I saw $79.99. Very efficient and would highly recommend as my cars driving as straight as an arrow.
They dont know what theyre doing. I had some problem with my car. With the hope of finding the root cause I opt for complete car inspection. And the outcome is that I need to replace the tires, thats it. I go to another Auto shop and immediately get 2 critical recommendations. Lost trust in the brand.
Slow service and they always act like theyre doing you a favor (not for the price im paying and not for the number of alternate places in the area). Weve come here three times (1x flat, 1x oil change which then turned into replacing two tires, and a full set of tires for my Subaru)... Each time: slow service, customer service was okay...This is probably the last time well come here. Im done moaning about.
DONOT EVER GO HERE! I came in they told me I needed Rear brake fluid,Rear shoes/drums a Hardware kit $621.00 and to get Rear tires for $884.96. The manager Mani told me I had a warranty on my brakes and told me I have 100 miles left on them. I didnt want to wait 2hours to get them done and i would come back the next day. I went home and came back. The scam manager told me i was over the warranty! I live in Worcester how did I go over the warranty! So my dad told me about this place on Greenwood street. The machanic informed me all they things they said I needed i didnt! I only paid $200 to get my car fixed...THEY ARE SOME REAL SCAMS!!!
I scheduled an appointment for 11 am on july 28th. got there at 10:45. No other customers in line, yet the two service people didnt even acknowledge me for ten minutes. Finally, one says oh sorry sir we arent ignoring you. As they sat there talking about whether they had breakfast or not!! Unreal!! In fact They made me feel like because i was WHITE they werent going to help me!! Good for them!! Ill never buy a Thing from Firestone again!!!
Weve gone 3 years, with no work needed on our car. The front tires have worn un-evenly in just 30k miles and failed inspection. We purchased the lifetime alignment on this car from this location and now we need TWO new tired. Tried to discuss with an associate and they made every excuse in the book as to why it was our fault. This is bad customer service. Its unforrtunate that this happened and they are not willing to correct their mistakes.
This location offers great skilled, friendly service. Fair pricing.
My 20 year old daughter drove from Montana to visit me and needed tires on her car. I went to Firestone Shrewsbury and they checked her whole front end and informed me it needed ball joints and control arms. I knew it had some issues so I asked to have it fixed. They understood it needed to be done fast and correctly because she was driving back across country in a couple days. They took the vehicle in and had it finished in record time. The whole staff was awesome, courteous and helpful. I had peace of mind knowing my daughter was safe for the long trek home. These guys are amazing!! Ive had my car repaired here several times and have been more than completely satisfied!! Great job from Lauren and all the guys at Firestone Shrewsbury!!!
Went there 2 times for alignment and my car is still pulling to the side
Pleasant and knowledgeable staff. Prompt service and they take time to explain in plain English
I had chosen Firestone to service my new car, which has less then 30,000 miles. I would make an oil change appointment every 3,000 miles, which is what they recommended. I went in for an oil change on August 3rd and a month later there was no oil left in my car and my drive way was covered in oil leaks because Firestone failed to tighten the drain plug on the car during the last service. As I was looking through the receipts, I noticed that the mileage, the date on the inspection sticker (which said 04-06-14), and my license plate numbers were all wrong. When I brought it to the attention of the store manager, he was very unprofessional and didnt even offer an apology for their carelessness. I, personally, could never trust this branch again and advise others to be weary of their next inexpensive oil change, which can in the end cost you thousands on engine repairs.
Better pricing than Jiffy lube keeps me coming back
I have been coming here for tires and service for a couple years now. But lately I have been frustrated with their ability to do what I request. Two different visits I have requested that they leave my hub caps off, because they are old and need to be replaced. Twice they have focused on trying to sell me additional things, instead of just getting what I ask done. The hub caps are bolted on to the wheel. So I can only replace them if they are removed with the wheel. I am beyond frustrated and will probably find service elsewhere.
Outrageously overpriced, my female friend went in for a headlight bulb replacement. Bulb cost is anywhere from $10-$16.00 but not here, they charged $29.99 for a new bulb plus a $20.00 labor charge for the 1-2 minute instal. Then we asked that they remove a flat tire from our spare wheel but they refused to do so as we arent purchasing a replacement tire from them. They do provide ok customer service but charge unreasonable prices. I will never go back here and will ensure my friends and family members do not either.
Appointment went smoothly as planned.Very good customer service.
Disappointed!!! I called the shop on the 12th Dec 2018 to ask question on the service I need for my Acura RLX. I told them the service codes, and asked them if they trained/equipped to do the service. The person who answered the phone said yeah yeah.. We could do everything the car asks for. So, I booked the appointment for Monday the 17th Dec 2018. Dropped the car on monday and went to work, I get a call from FireStone staff saying the we cant do the Transmission fluid transfusion as it the transmission is maintenance free . I said no it is not,it need a new oil in the transmission, he asks me to hold the line and comes back says we can do the transmission fluid transfusion as we dont have tools to do so. !!. Seriously? He said the rest of the work will all be done and the car will be ready in an hour. I am so mad, I asked the same question if the shop is equipped to do all the services mentioned in my MID B1236 and the guy on thursday said yes and gave me quote too. Now on Monday this person says he is sorry and his technicians know how to do it but the shop do not have tools to perform that Service. Very sorry for the shop. Never going to that shop again, Wasted time, I had to go to dealership again to get the transmission fluid changed... When went to pick the car in the evening, the service advisor was acting as if he did a favour servicing my car and charging me for the service they did. I noticed a Zero Dollar charge and asked him what it was, he said they checked the tire pressure and I am not charged for it.. What a joke... !! Hope the management reads this and fixes issues like this.
Great customer service got me in right away
Went in today, their supervisor Dan was just rude. Hate this place. Will never go back. Plus their price quotes are way off!!! Advise people to go some place else. Gettys at Highland St in worcester is pretty amazing, along with Eds in worcester.
Visit Firestone today 100% better! Quick and polite service! I would recommend them today! Tomorrow who knows!
Fast and friendly service! Highly recommended!
Sit down for this one......so I go for a simple project that shouldve taken a hour I was there for 5 hours and 20 mins because of miscommunication between coworkers of a bolt they needed for my tire... I was outraged I went from having a full set of hair to almost bald in few hours...unbelievable....just stared at the wall in misbelief my whole time until it was done to finally get out and never see the inside of there again...
Upon arriving at firestone, I knew that I needed to get a new battery. Firestone replaced it and told me that I needed a new alternator, a $500 item. I did not have the money so I declined the work. I then brought my car to my local mechanic and they told me that I did not need one. I am a full time college student and need all the money that I work for. I did not appreciate them lying to me and trying to get me to pay for something that I did not need.
Fast and friendly. Very helpful!
This firestone in shrewsbury is the most DISHONEST car repair shop in the town of shrewsbury. I came to the shrewsbury firestone for a new axcel. Upon having that replaced yhe staff stated I needed a new water pump and that I had a power steering leak. I took my car to the dealership to have these two reported repairs verified and Toyota said who told you that you needed this repaired because theres nothing wrong. Talk about Firestones DISHONESTY! And to make matters worse the axcel they put in my car that day was faulty. I did have my receipt and returned the part after having it done properly at the de asler ssd hip. The store manager Dave was an arrogant, rude, insulting individual. I dont know how this place manages to stay in business. We all must of been one time fools. Firestone you definitely missed the mark. I did however call the customer care line where they apologized and said the district manager would be contacting me with in 48 hours and I never heard from him.
Excellent costumer service. Very professional and help you finding the best deal for your car repair
Good friendly place. Reasonable rates. Good service.
I’ve never been much of a fan of firestone - I usually feel talked down to, and have often received (unsolicited) estimates from them only to take them to other companies and be told that most of the items Firestone listed as necessary were fine. However, I’ve gone out of necessity and at least good service.Last Wednesday, I took my car to this firestone (Shrewsbury) to get two new front tires. I asked For the same tires I had on the back because they had served me well. On Friday (after a day of zero driving due to a snowstorm), I got halfway to an inspection and realized my brand new front left tire was completely flat. I take it to them and they told me I probably drove over a pothole or drove on it with low air. Given that it was a new tire and I did not drive over a pothole, they gave it to me with low air. They ordered the tire from another location and notified me (after I called them) when the tire was in on Saturday. I got the new tire put on. Today (Tuesday), I got out of my car to find the front right tire looked deflated. When i took It to an air pump, it was as 13 PSI. This is completely disappointing given that they were brand new tires and that I’d had one replaced already. I won’t be going to firestone again.
They always find unrelated problem and try to make you belive that you need to fix it, you always end up paying twice as much as you could have spent some where else. DO NOT TRUST THEM ANY MORE.
Good place to business fast and good service
Incredibly slow service. 2 hours and counting for an oil change and a tire rotation. Go literally anywhere else.
Honestly, I am really not a review writing type of a person. But, sometimes, an incident happens with you which might hurt you to such an extent that you might be forced to write one. It seems like a duty to inform the society that please be careful of such incidents and businesses in your town. The incident which happened with me today (06/23/2014) at Firestone-Shrewsbury garage deserves such a reporting to the community.Firestone is issuing a $16.99 coupon for oil change and tire rotation at the back of many shopping receipts (expiring July 31, 2013). I have been regularly taking my car at that store and found this as a good opportunity to use the coupon and save some dollars. The person in the counter (I intentionally don’t want to take his name for his job security) informed me that the coupon has been applied while preparing my work order for oil change and including taxes and disposable fee it’s US$23.68 (including taxes ($1.19) and disposable fees extra($2.50)) (Customer Invoice Number:165499). Quite surprised, I asked him again whether he had applied the coupon since in my calculations it should be around $20.00 and he confirmed he did apply the coupon. After making the payment and taking the key, I came out of the store and when I checked the detailed bill - it was amply clear that he didn’t apply the coupon and charged me much more for the job. I went back and enquired about it. His initial response is: “Hey- you came back just for a dollar!!” First of all, it’s not a question of a dollar but more than a few dollars. Secondly, even, if it’s a dollar, why shouldn’t I? It’s your store’s advertised price. You are overcharging me and instead of apologizing or saying sorry you are making a fun of me since I came back for something which is completely your mistake. Then, on being pointed out that it’s something more than a dollar, I am told: “Were you expecting a free oil change. We can’t give you one.” Did I ever mention to you that I came to your store for a free service and I don’t have the ability to pay for it? I know that I don’t appear to look like a typical rich customer you might have wanted me to look like or serve to. But when I came to your store, I can confirm you through this review that I have had the ability to pay for the service I am taking from your store.I am really feeling insulted today on the way Firestone Garage –Shrewsbury (Store# 006521) treated me. I am not an expert on car technicalities, so I am not in a position to comment on the expertise of the mechanics. But, I am sure they are good since I never had any problem with my car after repairing it from that location. But, honestly – this is the last time in my life I am visiting your store. Since more than my car, I value my own prestige and honor.
Let me start of by saying they never tightened my lug nuts and I could of gotten into a serious accident! I had a minor noise occurring on my front left wheel which happened to be loose lug nuts. The tech there proceeded to take my wheel off bend the backing plate for god knows what and put the tire back on. Guy never tightened my lugnuts and the sound got worse and worse. Thankfully I brought it somebody who knows what they are doing and they laughed at me for brining it to a franchised business. Never again. Oh, and they told me I needed a motor mount to fix the sound which would cost me over $1,200 when they just needed to tighten my lug nuts. -_-
Service is great, but it is very pricy. Also they always find something else to fix and will try very hard to convince you to take care of it now.
Very long wait for oil change...started 2 hours after i arrived for my scheduled appointment
Went there about a month ago for an all synthetic oil change at 100,069 miles. Next oil change would be 106,000 I’m now at 102,000 miles with NO OIL left. Worst location ever.
I went to this Firestone yesterday Monday to fixed anything that I havent done to my old Honda Civic 01. I let them fix couple things that need to be done so the seem to too much high an no discount plus tax. They seem to be alright to my car and think looks ok. Theyre also seem like they work there look like not that professional worker. I know they like to work fun but they laugh too much an doesnt seem they foused on the car. Next day in morning my car doesnt start since I know my battery old and they told me need to be replace. It seems weird that after I when to this place my car doesnt start. Since I havent went any auto fixed my car started fine even with cold weather. You never know the place that need more price on ur wallet that you not know much about mechanics car! Shame for let this happen. Will not recommended to this again. Smh
Poor business practices and communication. I’d recommend going somewhere else.
Very helpful and kind staff.
I think Ive directed a lot of people here being the place I do everything on my vehicle and NO one, I mean NO one has been disappointed. So give it a try.
Top 10 worst places ever to bring your car so I suggest don’t ever use this place!!!!!
Fast efficient polite service.
I am updating this review. My original experience was fast and friendly. I needed warranty service these brakes and had two negative/unsuccessful experiences trying to get the brakes fixed. I had to go to another franchise to get things resolved.
Good service fair prices
