I am giving one because there is none -1 star to give. This people are the worst. Unprofessional they cancel appointments on you and dont care what your schedule is. They make a mistake and its always your fault, but they will charge your health plan anyway. Save money go somewhere else. Dont waste your time.

I walked in and was politely directed to the Mens side. I was the only one in there and all 4 employees ignored me while they sat around talking and frankly I felt I would be bothering them if I asked any questions. As I tried on glasses most were so dirty with fingerprints I had trouble seeing. Seems to me the employees had plenty of free time to clean them. It also made me realize these glasses are never cleaned. Due to Covid I became uncomfortable trying them on and left, mentioning my concern to the staff. As I write this in the parking lot, they havent moved.

All the staff makes Visionworks #1 for me. They took the time to insure I was happy with my new prescription. Frames, a selection for all tastes. Myself, on occasion I get buyers remorse. The staff let me camp out trying different looks. And when I had that buyers remorse, their exchange program gets 5 stars from me. Most importantly their staff was fun to work with and sincere about my satisfaction.

They destroy my eyes. I went to this place in 2019 and they gave me wrong prescription. I paid for Blue light lenses and I got the cheapest one. I would not recommend this place.

Doctor was fast and listened to me not wanting dilation. Would go back again here. Decent selection of glasses. Took my EyeMed insurance. Nice people out front as well to assist in finding nice frames.

RUN, RUN, RUN just get your glasses from somewhere else... hopefully the next place you choose will value honesty,integrity, and open detailed correct communication.Chances are they (Corporate) will respond to this with review, with a generic Im sorry we let you down... email or call us ...but when you email or call you get no response/answer. The 100 day love it or fix it deal will run out before you can get a hold of anyone to fix it.So its worthless to try... otherwise if you are still considering it... everyone has different outcomes... you do whatever you think is right. I thought it did.

I paid for glasses and 40 days later have not received them. I have received no notifications and contact has been difficult. I do not recommend Visionworks if you need glasses. If you want a nice place to hang out, the facility is nice and the associates are polite.

No human answers the phone, its a robot and you can only get an appt for an exam. I have an eye issue, I need it looked at and there is no-one I can reach.I really like my Doctor but the Customer Service there is horrible. I had to pick up my glasses and had to leave as I waited 45 mins and there was like one person there to help. Came back again and waited 15 and than recd them thankfully.However, if I have an eye ISSUE they need a human or an answering machine as I need a call back .Disappointing. I am giving two stars because my Doctor was great. Customer Service is huge!

If you go through insurance they charge maximum price for everything. Online there is 40% discount on the frame but they did not honour the price. Worst customer experience..Update on 4/23** Promise date to pick up my order is 4/17 ...but I am still waiting for the pick up call (4/24). Worst customer experience...

Great service great glasses and very knowledgeable. The optician that was on duty yesterday told me about Bausch & Lomb soothe night time for dry eyes. I cannot believe what a difference that made and I am ever so grateful that she was the one that I saw yesterday.

I normally dont do reviews, but given the times I now feel they are important. Excellent safety measures. Diligent staff. I felt very safe and comfortable in this establishment. I will say that even with ONLY TWO PEOPLE working with phones ringing off the hook they handled their composure well and took very good care of myself and I am sure others. Very impressed with their level of professionalism and catering to all. They even ensured others properly wore their masks and reassured them on the safety measures. I made the appointment for a repair and will absolutely return when I am due for my exam. If this is how they operate with minimal staff during COVID I cant wait to see how the experience is during normal operation. Highly recommend.

I was very skeptical and completely apprehensive about buying glasses during COVID, but I needed them and got new insurance. My insurance (VSP) recommended I go to Visionworks in Shrewsbury since it was close to me. All I have to say is THANK YOU! I called and must have asked a MILLION questions about what they were doing to keep the process safe. Valerie was beyond patient with me both in store and on the phone. Very impressed by their safety measures and making sure all patients followed them. They sanitize literally every frame, table, chair, everything. Even though they were busy the experience was stress free. I felt SAFE and taken care of. I cant wait for my glasses to come in the mail. They were very thorough about my insurance benefits, too (which I had NO clue about before going in).Highly recommend.

Very bad experience there, I tried to get a new pair of glasses last November, I went there because they are close to me, the new pair of glasses I received had paint off, so they ordered second pair for me, unfortunately, the frame of the second pair got severe wear, then they ordered the third pair, it is unbelievable that the lens cracked when I picked up, finally, I got my fourth pair. However, just found the frame paint off again after several months of normal wear, I would suggest not to go there because of the poor quality.

I need my glasses repaired but I can’t just walk in I have to make an appt. I went online and couldn’t make an appt. I called, no one would answer the phone nor would it let me leave my name and number for them to call me back. What the “H” am I supposed to do? This was the first time I bought glasses at Visionworks and I’m sorry I did.

Just left there and felt I had to write a review. Valerie is absolutely AMAZING! My daughter broke her glasses earlier today and has a tough time seeing without them. We stopped in without an appointment and Valerie literally dropped everything to help us. My daughters glasses couldnt be repaired so she looked through the whole store until she found frames that would hold her lenses so my daughter didnt have to go another day without her glasses. She took the time to adjust them until finally they sat right and she could see clearly. Excellent customer service...much appreciated!!!

Very impressed with Visionworks!! The staff were all extremely helpful and friendly. One of the best eye appointments Ive ever had! They have the latest technology too. So many choices for glasses frames!! It was so hard to choose! Absolutely LOVE the ones I got! Prices were really great! Easy to get to from any direction with highway access close by. Very clean. Thank you so much to everyone at this Visionworks for all your help in booking the appointment, giving me directions, helping me to choose the frames, and for a wonderful eye appointment! 💜

I have got a glasses from this store and I am not able to see with it at all . I think the lens number is wrong, I have been trying to call them for the past 4 days to tell them the problem but no one is answering the phone . the worst experience I have ever had with Vision works. Their other store in Millbury is much better . Never going back to this store.

Dr. Zopatti is AMAZING! I saw her today and she fitted me with the most comfortable contacts of my life!! Seriously... life changing! She was so knowledgeable and just a genuinely kind doctor. Best eye doctor experience I’ve had. Paul is also wonderful! He took such great care of my daughter and I. He made sure we were able to use my insurance benefit to the fullest. Vision Works is fortune to have him! We will be back next year!!!!!

Really good customer service, they go above and beyond to make customers happy. Customer will be a small word when they consider and treat you like a family. I live in NJ and traveling to MA, they not only accommodate me walk-in but also showed me all options, and price is unbeatably low. Glasses came on time and they worked with me on my choices. I would highly recommend this place. Paul and Valerie are amazingly helpful and friendly. I never had such a nice experience at any other optician. I highly recommend this place to friends and family.

I had very bad experience here. They have such a poor collection of sunglasses and whatever they have is very expensive compared to LensCrafters. I changed two pairs here, finally returned them all. In addition to that it takes 30 days for them to reinstate the benefits!! That’s such a terrible service. Also they don’t have tools and technology that LensCrafters uses to measure the fit. So you don’t get good judgment of the fit.

Went first thing when they opened so it wasnt too busy. Valery was absolutely wonderful. Very patient, professional, very cute and answered all of my ques. Felt well taken care of and not rushed to sell like most places. Highly recommend for glasses and contact lens ordering. Selection was really good for our insuranse and they go over rebates with you too. Will consider doing our exams with them next year.Ask for valery! You wont be dissappointed i am sure.

I waited weeks for an appointment and they tell me the day I show up that they don’t accept my eye insurance. I completed patient check on paperwork a week prior. Claimed they ‘emailed’ me that they don’t accept my insurance, funny how I got 200 appointment reminder emails and texts but no email that my insurance wasn’t accepted. Whatever

Took my two girls in for eye exams and glasses and I cant say enough about what a lovely experience it was. The doctor and staff were incredibly patient and helpful. And prices are quite reasonable. Well definately stick with them. :)

My sister told me what an amazing place visionworks in Shrewsbury is, so I scheduled an appointment. My appointment was for 6:15pm and unfortunately wasnt seen until 7pm. I let it slide cause their customer service was on point and theyre super friendly.They told me it would take 2 weeks for my glasses and that they would call me. They didnt call me, I had to call them.After having my glasses for a day, I realized I wanted the anti-glare put on them, because the glare was giving me headaches. I was told I can have it put on, no problem, but because I used my insurance, a manager would need to do the exchange/swap/return/whatever. I have called every week, for 3 weeks since I picked up my glasses, requesting to speak with a manager... and kept getting told that there isnt a manager there or that she is on vacation.I called Millbury visionworks at 3:30pm today (2/24/20) and asked them if they could help me. They did. Their customer service was on point also AND they cut new lenses for me right there WITH anti-glare. I waited about 30 minutes and FINALLY have my glasses.What took Shrewsbury almost a month with no glasses to wear and nothing resolved... Millbury took a total of 2 hours to complete from entering all of my info into the system, taking payment, cutting my lenses and then the final text to come pick my glasses up.Worth the extra miles to go to Millbury Visionworks!

Staff is really friendly and helpful! Fixed both of my glasses free of charge. They really saved the day! Had one pair of glasses that broke...and another one that was too tight! They helped me right away. I was in and out fast!!!

The guys working there told me my bill was 400, I said okay, paid for it but when he handed me my receipt it was 493$!!! Thats a big difference. Wouldve been nice to know before I paid???

I walked into my appointment and this lady with glasses and tattoos on her right arm told me how I was late for my appointment.Instead she could have at least greeted me. If she was that concerned about my timing she could have said I noticed you are 5 minutes late. Is everything okay?Then she proceeded to say they called me saying my insurance was not accepted. I only received a phone call confirming my insurance number and appointment.I honestly felt that I was bothering her for showing up to my confirmed appointment. Ive never had someone be so rude who provides a service.

Thought I was getting a great deal on two pairs of glasses, one regular progressive and one sunglass progressive. The guy who waited on me seemed new and inexperienced (uninterested?) so I cut him some slack. Was told glasses would take 2 weeks. Two weeks went by: no word. Then, a few days later, a text that they were in. Went to pick them up and only one pair was in. Clerk said they “sent the lenses” for the other pair, but not the frame (?). Had to be reordered. Two weeks more: no response. Called and was told the glasses were in. Went to pick them up and they had placed the sunglass lenses in the same frame as the regular glasses: this is not what I ordered. When I put them on, the progressive vision was askew (in other words, I had to tilt my head down to see through them). Reselected the sunglass frame I had originally wanted and was told two more weeks. Two weeks went by and no word. Again I had to call them: sunglasses were in. All in all, a freaking nightmare of customer service. I guess you do, indeed, get what you pay for. A couple of well placed calls or texts and perhaps a “rush” order to fix their mistake would have done wonders and avoided this rambling missive.

Called three times to get my prescription after moving to Texas and got nothing each time! Its concerning that a total stranger from another franchise in Texas happened to get results but I didnt. Ridiculous!
