From customer service, to price, to quality of materials, Shrewsbury Lumber is amazing! Last summer, I worked with Rick to order cedar and pressure treated wood for a deck project. Materials have been hard to come by these days, but Rick was able to get everything I needed within a week. The materials were of excellent quality, and the price for clear cedar (c and better) was unbeatable. At other area lumber yards, I was quoted nearly twice the price per linear foot for STK grade cedar and told I wouldnt be able to get clear cedar until October (this was June).Rick went above and beyond, when I had a hiccup in the project. I realized too late that the builder had framed a 16 x 14 deck rather than the 16 x 12 I had planned for, but the builder was able to use every piece of cedar, including my overage because the quality of each piece was so good. Even so, I needed a single piece of decking to complete the project. Rick was able to get it for me with in a day or two. I cant say enough good things about my experience with Shrewsbury Lumber and enthusiastically recommend them! Many thanks to Rick and the team.

Rick at Shrewsbury Lumber was great to deal with and I highly recommend working with him. Shrewsbury Lumber had everything I needed and they delivered all the materials in a timely fashion. There were a couple occasions I needed material quick and they were very responsive. They are more than just a lumber yard so check their pricing for drywall projects as well.

I usually do not post negative reviews, but be very careful dealing with this place. If you buy anything and walk out the door and then come back to return something they charge you 20%. Thats $200 for a $1000 purchase. And in a lumber company you do buy 1000s worth mostly. The attitude was very wrong with the guy who I think is the owner. just pointing to the return policy. I have dealt with other lumber companies and none have been this worse. Shop around for prices before you buy here. The service is definitely better in the big box stores and so are the prices. I am not talking about some low quality products that the big box stores carry, these are branded products that everyone just resells. On top of it check how much they charge you versus that actual bill amount, because they charge extra too if you do not check correctly. Very dissapointed.

I own a business and needed Azek to finish a project I was working on. I do not spend the amount of time and money that a contractor would, but that didnt stop Chad from giving me the help and customer service I needed. I was very impressed with how friendly and easy it was to do business with Shrewsbury Lumber. They also had reasonable prices and were within a few cents of the major hardware chains on everything I ordered. The big savings with Shrewsbury Lumber was their shipping which was so inexpensive I had them bring the supplies to me instead of hauling it myself. I highly recommend shopping there before the chains.

As a carpenter I expect to choose my wood for my products. Shrewsbury lumber would not let me hand select. That is ridiculous. This place sucks..
