A quaint little coffee shop packed with personality. Theres a little couch in the corner to sit on while you wait for your order. Emily was especially nice as the took our order. Very high quality coffee from Unity coffee, an ethically sourced roasting company. Its near my house so its a great choice for an early morning fix. ^_^Edit: They got a new menu fixture!

The nitro cold brew was delicious as i wish they had a larger size! we got assistance with some questions from the nice young lady at the register who helped us decide what to ultimately settle on eating and drinking. ill be sure to go for a mood ring next time! the area surrounding this shop is really nice too.

(this portion is for during Pandemic) indoor only allows 3 party at a time, outdoor seating all has dividers, overall a safe environment to stay.Indoor is pretty spacious, probably due to not having any seating available but I can see it being relatively the same when available. I was immediately greeted by the barista. The barista explained the specialty drinks are all using syrup made by themselves, so I ordered the vanilla flavored latte Plain Jane.Wait time was average, they do take time on making the drinks and I really appreciate that. Plain Jane is a smooth, sweeten but not overly sweet drink, and you can really taste the difference in vanilla syrup.Overall an extremely good experience.

I love downtown Sierra Madre and have great memories living there for three years. This place is a great local shop cross street from Starbucks. I tried their coffee and some of their pastry and it was great. Staff are also extremely friendly and patient.

Lovely coffee, great pastries. Definitely will come back if I’m ever in the area. Highly recommend the cheddar biscuit.

This is one of the best coffee shops around! Not only are the staff some of the most caring people youll meet, but they craft everything on their menu with such love and attention. The coffee is fabulous and you cant go wrong with any choice and the food has amazing flavor combinations. You wont be sorry you visited and youll be coming back for more.

Everyone here is so friendly and they are always smiling and seem to really enjoy what they do! I love to order the Mood Ring, which is baristas choice. You never know what youre going to get, but you definitely wont be disappointed!!

There are like four coffee shops here. But Syndicate is home. Everyone who works here hates my jokes but they are a joy. The baked goods are superb. They focus on the coffee and thats a good thing. They sell their own coffee too. Good stuff. Come and support.

Great little bakery in Sierra Madre with amazing tasting coffee and baked goods. I visited on a Saturday morning around 10:30 and it was already packed. From what I gather, the bakery is still in its soft opening phase so the menu options are limited.When you first enter, youll notice the bakery is brightly lit by all the windows facing the street. All of that natural light illuminates the interior, which is painted yellow. The bar is also busy with baristas and bakers making everything for customers to enjoy.I tried their latte with oat milk thats sweetened by their house made honey syrup. It was delicious to say the least and the latte art was beautifully executed. I also had their chocolate brownie that looked amazing but my taste buds thought it was too sweet for my taste; not necessarily applicable for everyone.Id definitely come back and do work here once they get more tables because they only have one at the moment. I also hope they have WiFi in the future.

Pretty good coffee, reasonable prices, and quick service. Ive tried their drip and pour over coffee and both were well made and tasted great. They also sell the coffee they use for their drinks as well.

The coffee is pretty average, but the real reason to come here is the bakery. This place has the best croissants that I have found outside of Paris, and all of the baked goods I have tried are excellent.

Love their almond croissants here! So fluffy and buttery, and the almond filling is just to die for.

Yeah there always seems to be a line now as its no secret their coffee and pastries are out of this world good. Try the Jalapeno cheddar scone or their new coconut vegan mini cake...everything is delicious so worth the wait and their staff are the best! Love Syndicate Coffee!

The baked goods are amazing and the people are friendly - 5 stars. Coffee drinks are inconsistent and always a slow process. The coffee depends on barista, sometimes it’s fantastic and other times poor. As for time to get your drink - consistently slow. Im not sure if it’s the layout, or training, or focus - maybe all of the above.

Longer than expected wait time for food, but good quality. Their drink menu looked first-rate. Ill be back to try the nitro tea!

A new coffee shop in Sierra Madre!Hidden amongst the many amazing small businesses in Sierra Madre, look out for this coffee spot!Still in their soft opening phase, it has a very relaxed feel and vibe that is welcoming to all. Upon entering, I was captivated by the smell of freshly baked pastries and brewing coffee. Nothing more I could want on a Saturday morning.The seating arrangements are still coming along, but shouldnt be a problem because its recently spacious for a business in Sierra Madre.My son has a blueberry muffin that lasted about 30 seconds before it was gone. I chose a puff pastry with ricotta cheese and peaches on top. It was excellent and tasted like it was made by a famous bakery. I could tell the baked goods here are extremely well made.My cold brew was also out of this world! Definitely could taste the fruity notes from the beans used in the cold brew and believe they brew by the toddy method. Had to get a refill before I left! (Not sure if they do this for cold brews, but I heard the guy behind me asking for a refill on his hot brew and the owner says they give $1 off on refills). I personally didnt get that deal so maybe its just for hot coffee?All in all, great experience, great people, great food, great coffee. syndicate!

The owner and staff are personable, passionate about their craft and have unique selections you wont get at a Peets or Starbucks. Also employed is an NYC chef with a master hand at pastries and sandwich fare.

Everything at Syndicate is top quality: coffees, teas, sandwiches, pastries, bagels. They make everything in house. I love the nitro iced teas (the type of tea varies), cappuccino, Tunisian tuna sandwich, sweet scones, and everything bagel. Its very rare to find a bakery/cafe these days where literally everything is of amazing quality. Often, pre-packaged or pre-prepared items/ingredients are used in some way, shape, or form. But that is not the case here. Everything is made fresh, daily, and I am so glad I live close enough to walk there. They have plenty of outdoor and shaded seating right now, considering the COVID situation. Definitely one of the best places in Sierra Madre. Today I saw that they now have fresh-squeezed orange juice. I think they are adding slowly to their menu.
