Even though the store is old I will continue to shop here for the fresh produce, decent meat selection, and organic products. The biggest factor that keeps me returning is the great service from the staff who retrieve and sanitize the carts and assisting the active and not so active older adults using them. We all know how the carts get stuck and the outside staff members are very alert in greeting, sanitizing, and keeping the parking lot clean. KUDOS SAFEWAY FOR BUILDING CUSTOMER RELATIONS! I hope this service continues as the customer base appreciates the extra efforts to keep us all safe from any type of virus or bacteria! And to have someone greet you by name…we will be back! Prices are extremely higher yet this store is well organized and staff is friendly... They did have the item I been searching for since coming to this 💩y city, Big Red $7 for a 12 pk🤯🧐 and yes I did spend the money to get it since this is the only place I was able to find it at.. Thank you for responding to me so promptly thats also why I updated my rating.

If it wasnt so expensive I would like it even more. Always go because of the great produce but I could do without the high prices and unfortunately right now with all the issues with the shipments there wasnt much of a selection.

Praising the floral department. The botanist in this Safeway is AWESOME. She makes the most beautiful Bouquets. I googled what flowers said appreciation, and for administrative professionals Day she managed to encapsulate all the flowers into one arrangement. Love it!

Its always nice to go to store that has a greeter who is so nice, says good morning with a smile and knows what customer service is. I wish all Safeway employees were like this. Clean, well-stocked shelves. Employees offer help and are super friendly. The butcher is so helpful, and has been able to do special cuts of meat that exceed our expectations.

One of my favorite places to shop for food in this area. Mostly because of the really friendly staff. The employees really have no problem assisting, even if the product Im looking for is 2 feet to my left.

Excellent customer service, a little busy but it was a weekend. Aile widths were small. Nikki was great at the deli department.

Store full of smoke. Tried to charge me $2.50 for an item on sale for 69 cents. Chip card reader broke cashier kept trying to run my card. Little girl posing as a store Mgr rude and indifferent attitude. They do have a great deli the fried chicken and the salads better than you can make at home. Not usually a long wait at the registers either.

I was there getting tow deli sandwiches, first I had to wait, so the clerk could restock...no problem. So when shes ready I start placing my, she tells, she cant hear me. Bottom line is dont get short tempered with someone dealing a with health crisis!

Its better than the local Frys/Kroger and I usually prefer Kroger/King Soopers/Frys.

We went to Starbucks and the lady named Iva, was awesome. She was very helpful. She needs a raise for sure.

Wow! Amazing flavor and stuffed with meat!The bread was fresh baked, as well as the chocolate chip cookies.

I love that Safeway has items I cant find anywhere else, & I shop here frequently. BUT I HATE that they sell salmon from China, especially displaying it next to US salmon at a higher price. Theres a reason US products are more expensive. Chinas quality control on foodstuff doesnt compare to the US standards. Ive toured many veg and seafood farming/packaging plants throughout Asia - I will never feed my family those foods until standards greatly improve and the bribery to overlook health infractions is stopped. Safeway - stop selling seafood from China!

Needed to buy a few groceries so I stopped here to pick them up. Loved the self checkout and the employees were very friendly.

Once again I came into town being drawn in by the promise of a free food gift through the just for you app at Safeway Sierra Vista. And once again the item was not in stock. This is false advertising and bait and switch and it is very inconvenient it is a waste of my time thats why Im going to Frys supermarket by Kroger most of the time they have their sale items in stock unlike Safeway in Sierra Vista very disappointed in use Safeway Sierra Vista 2 weeks in a row you drew me in with a promise of a free item off the just for you app and it was not in stock and if I mention it to the customer service counter theyll tell me to call just for you Id rather shop at Frys at least they keep stuff in stock and they care about me they dont make me prove everything like you do

Huge store bigger than and better shocked than Phoenix stores, there produce department is amazing.

The check out lines arent too bad (depending on how busy they are)I know where most everything is. This makes it easy to get in and out quickly.

Safeway refuses to bring back personal, GOOD, solid, shopping bags but will cram everything into one bag. Bottles, sold separately are not put in containers to keep from breaking nor are they all put in the same bag. Today, I had a dozen, loose bottles of drink, glass, in 8 different bags. Mixed in with cereal, frozen, pastry, etc. Then I had a box of cereal, double bagged, I guess to keep it from breaking??? Teach the baggers how to put cold with cold, boxed to make sides and orderly, not just slam it in to get your infected self out of the store.

Great experience, fresh fruits, vegetables, deli well stocked. Bakery 🥰 meat and fish depth.. They have everything. Friendly people to.

Welcome to SmokeWay where youll be greeted by inhaling a lung full of cigarette smoke from the cart pushers walking by. I wrote this store and their corporate headquarters a letter regarding their cart pushers smoking while on the job. The management here obviously doesnt care so maybe once they hear from corporate they will fire them! Until then I absolutely refuse to shop here at SmokeWay

Went to grab donuts just after 8am and there were very few to choose from. The Danish and bagels were just as bad!

I love this store. Helpful staff, fantastic deli especially that chicken & bakery. Their floral department has beautiful flowers, plants and a big choice of fresh flowers for any occasion. Produce, meat, seafood they have it all. They have been extremely careful during COVID with masks & social distancing.

Best bakery in town! Everyone is always friendly and store is always clean.

This place could be called Safeway Have Not because the store is terrible in stocking shelves even before the pandemic

Wish there was one grocery store in this town where i could make 1 stop and get all my groceries. Unfortunately, if youre shopping for organics, you will probably have to run to 4 different stores to get what you need at a decent price.

I got food poisoning from some potatoes or macaroni salad 3 years ago, havent gone back till a CPL days ago, the person checking out in front of me, and Im getting smoothed by the lady behind me with the cart, the lady checking out made rude comments, it just has never been a happy place for me. And kinda expensive

I like safeway but I do not like the floorplan. Most items i can find elsewhere for less. But they do carry alot of stuff the other stores dont. The parking lot is horrible! Probably more hit and runs here than all of Sierra Vista.

Store appears to always be well stocked. Always a special going on to buy extra things that you really dont need right then. Didnt carry my parmesan regianno cheese to make eggplant parmigiana. Beautiful floral selection!

Once the best bakery in town but competitors are improving. Very good produce and flower sections. Safeway or Vonns card is a must for additional savings.

Excellent sale prices on bratwurst for the Super Bowl cookout. Great ad prices on Safeways weekly ad.

Twice in visit to the meat department Ive encountered poor attitudes with employees. Friends of mine when I mentioned my experience have agreed, that they too have experienced similar. Definitely not people friendly.

Have been having your tarts for a year or two now, never had a problem until now. First, the custard was brown and looked like it had been siting on the shelf for a while, two, the actual crust was burnt, three and this is minor but there were no raspberries which have been on them since i can remember, and fourth, when I bit into a strawberry there was a sharp piece of plastic. Will not be eating them again.

I love how friendly the employees are here. They always have a cheerful tone and before the masks you always saw smiles on their faces.I also like the selection of products in this store, particularly in the bakery and their floral section.

I was a surprised to learn that Safeway is open on Christmas. Not even Walmart makes their employees work on this day. I am not sure who is in charge of making that decision, but its very selfish and greedy.

Prices tend to be a little high. This location has many people just hanging outside all hours of opening and closing. I suggest locking car doors all times and hold your childrens hand due to the lurky people hanging around. The store itself is not too bad but the environment isnt the best.
