I had a problem with my Ford Fusion electronics and cars acceleration. Ed replaced for me a sensor, coils and spark plugs - car runs like new now. He did it only in one day and for reasonable price. Thank you for your fast and competent service!

Eddie came to the rescue when my car recently died. I didn’t have the time or extra money for a tow and he was more than happy to come to me to diagnose and repair my car. Luckily it was just the battery, but he also recommended some other services for the near future and gave me a great estimate. He was fast, affordable and courteous and I will definitely be using him for my future repairs.

Edward! He’s the greatest and most honest mechanic I know. He will explain to you every little information For you to understand what’s going on with your car. Not like other mechanics that just sends/ shows you an invoice. He is very trustworthy. Parts are basically oem and will recommend you what’s best for you. Basically it’s like taking your car to a dealership but with 50% OFF THE PRICE.Good job Edward! Continue to make your customers happy!!

Eddie did a great job on my Volvo S60. He uses a diagnostic scanner that pinpoints the work needed and tells the price of the parts before he writes up the estimate. He saves the old parts and does a clean repair. I have never had to return to Eddie to fix a problem that he repaired. I am a teacher and he explained everything that needed to be repaired. He also gave me a cool little discount because I am a teacher that I really appreciated.

Well, this is the second time I had to leave a negative review of Edward Texis at Tex Motorwerkes. In early 2018 Edward Texis botched a repair job on my E46 M3 and left it abandoned and partially disassembled at a pay-as-you-go DYI garage, since he was evicted out of his own shop that he did upholstery in with his father. He also committed warranty fraud and replaced a bunch of things and even took some parts.I ended up taking him to court for all the damages, car rentals, etc. that I incurred due to his negligence. He came to court looking (and smelling) homeless. We set out on a payment plan of $6000. He made a few payments and then stopped paying. I saw on his social media he went on a trip to Europe, so I filed the judgment. When he came back from Europe he worked out a new payment plan with me. He made one payment on the new payment plan and then stopped paying. He told me he was working as a mobile mechanic and my Yelp review was hurting him from getting clients and asked me to remove it as an act of good faith (hence why this is my second Yelp review).I gave Edward Texis 2 months interest free to start paying me. I also offered Edward Texis the opportunity to run a few errands in lieu of interest. He failed to pay me and failed to do any alternative, so I started charging him interest.Edward Texis keeps informing me that he is not paying me due to lack of funds, I have gone as far as to give him advice on revamping his Yelp/Google Business pages (advise he has not taken), I have looked up entry level job positions on Indeed and told him about it, I have went as far as to make a resume for him, so he could obtain gainful employment. He has failed to do any of these things.Dealing with Edward Texis has been a nightmare. When I try to text with him regarding the money he owes me he says things like I dont care and then plays the victim card, accusing me of taking advantage of him (because I am asking him to stick to the payment schedule he made with me?) I honestly dont know whats wrong with this guy.

Not only did I use it, he came to my house from signal Hill. I live in rancho Santa Margarita California so it was quite a drive he shut up twice wants to take a look at my ignition pull it apart and two days later he came back with all the parts to fix it. He was far better price than the BMW mechanics that quoted the job and he got the job done in a quarter of the time they quoted they could do it. My car was back on the road in 2 days when a regular mechanic shop told me it wouldnt be on the road for 2 weeks minimum. Thank you so much my friend for helping me out with my sons 97 BMW m3 I am sure will be staying in touch..

To put it simply, Edward is a BMW wizard. If you’re a fan of Hoovies Garage on YouTube, he reminds of the Car Ninja in terms of his dedication and skill. My 1999 540iT was due for a cooling system overhaul, again. I had it done in 2012 at my local dealership, but if you know E39s, you know their cooling systems are weak and prone to failure. I live in Victorville, and was highly recommended Tex Motorwerkes by someone in a forum. Edward has made several trips up to work on my vehicle and has worked on it in wind and rain. This man’s dedication is above and beyond. He’s gotten my entire cooling system better than new, at a fraction of what the dealership would have charged me. Thank you Edward and Tex Motorwerkes!!

Eddie Texis is incredibly knowledgeable in all things BMW as well as Mercedes and other European vehicles. My BMW X5 appeared to have a Transmission issue, at least that is what my mechanic told me as well as the vehicles system when it lit up my dash with “Trans Fail/Safe Program.” It has high mileage (over 250,000 miles) so I figured I had driven her into the ground for good. I was getting ready to junk her for $500 before meeting Eddie who diagnosed my vehicle with his code reader and to my surprise ensured me it was not a transmission issue after all! My alternator had failed, he replaced it along with the cracked disa valve which is an extremely important part for this model. He replaced 2 hoses that over time ripped causing fluids to leak and he did this all in a matter of 2-3 days! My car is up and running again against all odds and it drives smoother than ever. Eddie also replaced my hood shocks for free because he was annoyed having to use the stick I kept in my trunk that I would use to hold up my hood anytime I needed it open. Haha. Honestly, I won’t take my car to anyone else. Eddie is my new go-to mechanic for as long as I own European vehicles. Not only am I impressed by his skill set, I feel safe on the road when others did not think it was possibly to fix without paying 3k for a new transmission. Thanks to Eddie, I did not have to do that nor did the cost to fix it amount to that. Eddie’s prices are reasonable and fair. In my opinion, he doesn’t charge enough for what he offers. I would suggest him to any friend or family member of mine. He’s a great guy. Thank you Eddie!!!
