I contacted Steve and we set a time for me to bring in my guitar. We talked about what I wanted and even had me play one his to see how I wanted the action. Upon pick up, he told me everything he did; He changed my strings, set my intonation, adjusted the truss rod, polished my frets (he even took before and after photos to show me) cleaned my scratchy pots, set my action, and tuned up my Floyd Rose.Ive been to a few repair shops but Steve is the man. Bring your guitar to him! I paid $90 for my full setup. If you pay that at guitar center youre getting ripped off because they dont do nearly as good of a job. With Steve that is a fantastic value for the time and care he puts into your guitar.

Brought my strat to get set up. He set it up perfectly (best ive ever played it). Finished it same day, very fair price and does a really good job cleaning it up too. If you have any particular string you want, you should bring them. Definitely bringing my guitars to him going forward.Also note that you have to text him to reach him.

Steve was GREAT! He is very knowledgeable, and professional. I dropped off a bass I thought I botched by doing it myself. Within two days he had it in BRAND NEW CONDITION. Sounded perfect. Dont waste your money at Sam Ash or Guitar Center. He will do the job right and have it back in your hands 30x faster than the chain music stores. He has earned a life long customer.

It was a pleasure meeting Steve. You will not meet a more honest person with his level of expertise. I initially thought I was going to just drop off my guitar and have a quick interaction and leave, crossing my fingers that my guitars would feel right when I picked them up. Steve immediately put those concerns to rest just 2 minutes into our conversation. He explained to me, in great detail, the causes and effects of the questions and concerns I had for my instruments. I am no seasoned pro when it comes to my instruments, but Im also no beginner, Steve is able to translate everything in a way that make perfect sense to everyone.I want Steve to keep doing what he is doing which is why I am writing this review. I had a stripped tuning peg. Started at Sam Ash, but they couldn’t repair it because they didn’t have the part. Took it to Blue Alien and Steve repaired and returned it in 1 day. He called around and found the part. Great service, fair prices, and fast turnaround.
