Very smooth pickup experience of a washer I purchased. Extremely helpful people, I was in and out of the store within minutes. They even loaded the washer into the back of my truck for me, which is very good customer service in my opinion! If youre looking for a new appliance, shop local here at Silver City Sears Hometown Store.
The delivery of my 10 cubic fridge was very satisfactory! The 2 gentlemen were so kind and helpful! However the fridge which is a Frigidaire is less than satisfactory. It doesn’t get cold enough even at the coldest setting. The freezer seemed to be working alright but one night I got up to get ice cream and it was soft! So it seems to not be consistent. The fridge part stays around 40 degrees which is too warm. So I am putting a block of ice in there to make it go down a bit lower . This is not Sears fault but I wish there were reviews on the Sears web site when I ordered it so I could have been aware of this problem before buying it!
Extremely horrible service! My mom and I bought a brand new washer and dryer with warranty paid almost 3,000 dollars CASH. Six months of having them they broke! They didn’t want to honor the warranty nor help me find out how to get the situation resolved. Both store manager and the stores technician have no clue what they’re doing and are very disrespectful. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE OF BUSINESS.
We went in to buy a washer and were very happy with the service we received. Anthony was knowledgeable and helpful. He gave us our space but was also willing to answer any questions we had.
Good staff very helpful
We always try to shop local, I purchased a refridgerator, that was delivered with an out box failure. Maintenance at Sears removed the ice maker before delivery, as we already had one. When the out of box failure was picked up and returned, Joe, called me and accused me of stealing the icemaker! Of course I received an apology from the owner, Mr. LEWSIS. Well, I am a forging person, and just this morning i called to spend 3k to 6k, on new pedestal front loading washer and dryer. Good ole Joe couldnt help me! Guess we will order online from Cruces, for delivery and set up. As I look at the last names on this post, it is obvious, me, why I was blown off!
Excellent experience! More than once!
Very helpful and a great way to support a local business.
Very friendly and helpful staff
Staff is great. She makes the sting of buying a mattress not so hard.
I live in Albuquerque and had to travel to Silver City, NM to help my sister move to a new home. The home she purchased did not come with a refrigerator or a stove. I went with her to Sears in Silver City and was impressed by how much inventory this small town store actually had. My sister was able to choose from a variety of appliances and was given at sale prices. We were able to price match as well from the website. The staff were knowledgeable and very attentive from the moment we walked in. Coming from a big city where there are plenty of retailers to choose from I must say I was impressed to find this store in the small town very accomodating. The delivery time was as scheduled and the staff that set up the range were very professional. A true asset to the town. Thanks again!
I ordered four appliances from the local Sears store, spending $4700. six weeks ago.The refrigerator did not make ice, I had to have a repairman come. The washer and dryer were installed in the wrong configuration; it was hard to move laundry from one to the other. I paid $189. out of pocket to a local repairman to switch them around. The drawer on the bottom of the stove was bent. Another repairman made 2 visits, unable to fix the problem so I told Sears to replace the stove. The woman at the store ordered the wrong model which had to go back. The right model arrivedbut it was damaged in the installation for which I paid $100. out of pocket. I ordered touchup paint online myself, $16. out of pocket.Words fail me in expressing my disgust and dismay with this entire unpleasant experience. It is no exaggeration to say I have had to make at least 20 phone calls trying to get the problems resolved.Do not spend your money here; you will be sorry.
I have been coming to Sears on and off for all my appliances same with my mom and dad for over 30 plus years it is locally owned and they are nice people
These guys wer great got unloaded quickly truck sticks out most of street ok when backed to dock around back of store
This tore is a joke. EVERY time we walk in the door we say we wont return and we arent proved wrong. Today we arrive at the store to purchase three major appliances. We selected a washing machine we wanted. There were two sales reps and they were busy with other customers. We took the card off of the washing machine so we would know which one it was when a rep was available. As we were waiting, we looked at dish washers, which we were also planning on purchasing. A sales rep was visiting with two customers who were also looking at dishwashers. The employee looked at us and rudely said where did you get that card?. My husband said off of the washing machine we are planning on purchasing. The employee said you put that on back on the washing machine right now and I will be with you when I get to you. He was VERY, VERY rude about it. We hadnt interrupted him, asked him for help or in anyway deserved the treatment that spouted out of his mouth. I told him that maybe we wouldnt be purchasing a washing machine at this store after all and we walked out the door. We will not be returning. Everyone says shop at home....well we will take our business else where. We were also paying customers that did not expect to be treated this way when doing business in our LOCAL STORE. Sears in Silver City lost the opportunity to receive a very large purchase for 3 major appliances.
Great to see a locally owned business still around especially with big brother internet
Customer service was fantastic coming from a big city you can’t find that anywhere and they were helpful getting me the appliances I needed for my new home.
All I got to say is wow delivery was great and so was the customer service.
Do not buy an air conditioner from this store - especially a Kenmore Elite with a price tag of almost $500.00. I did, and it would not power on just 2 weeks after the 1 year warranty expired. Neither the store, or Sears Customer Service (I dont know why they even call it this) would do anything to help me. Their solution? Pay for a technician to come out and look at it. Since I live an hour from town the cost of this will buy me a new air conditioner at Walmart. And, trust me, I will never purchase a product from Sears ever again.
Personnel, not very helpful.
They cant get the parts you need or they dont have anything in stock.
Great store and wonderful customer service!
