For decades I have avoided Big-O because a certain shop raked me over the coals. But serendipity brought me to this store, and they are amazing. My front end on my RV broke down in the Gila Wilderness. I was able to drive down into Silver City and park it in the Big-O lot on a Friday. They were so busy that they could not schedule me till Monday morning. It was the same with all the other shops in town, or even later. They were kind enough to let me camp in their huge parking lot. Long story short, the upper passenger control arm was chewed up by the ball joint and no new replacements were available anywhere. Ted the head Sales person found a used one, and it was delivered by the end of Monday. Tuesday afternoon I was back on the road thanks to Bill the talented front end mechanic. I was charged a very fair price of $400, when they too could have easily raked me over the coals. Since I had to hangout and wait for a few days, I saw how hard they all worked, and how well they treated their customers. This place is top notch and if I lived in Silver City they would be my shop of choice.

Front desk acted like I interrupted thier day, very rude brushed me off. Was looking for 4 tire replacement, oil change and full update to my vehile. Bald guys at front desk clearly didnt want my business. Told me they couldnt help me before I even told them what I needed. Will never go here again

The big dude with the constant frown on his face that runs the desk acts like your imposing on his time. Prices change each time I went also. With an attitude and inconsistent pricing there is no reason to go here. Want the best? Werner Tire. From the reviews I read they will respond asking me to contact them to make it right.. wrong! Make it right to start with.

It was $30 plus tax for a tire rotation and I think thats kind of expensive.The people were friendly. The place is very clean.

My visit started out great as they were able to get me in within the hour of their closing time on a Friday. However the vehicle was driving very differently after my rotation. I tried calling to go back in to have the issue addressed on Saturday however they were closed Saturday and Sunday and I needed to leave the area. I was not overly impressed with the guy that brought the van to me after the work. He did not have a uniform on and his hands were filthy. I needed to wipe down everything in the van that he had touched due to all the grime. This place also charges $15 more for a rotation and balance and any other BigO Tire I’ve encountered. According to the next Big O that I immediately took my rig to, in fact the tires had not been balanced when they were rotated

TERRIBLE!!! Nust wanted my tires checked. Lect me sitging for over 20 minutes. They knew I was there waiting. I think they civuted if they legt me waiting for long enough that Id leave. They won.

Went in this am and they were so kind.They checked my tire and fixed the valve stem but didnt charge me anything. What a fine group of workers they are❤❤❤

We have been going to Big O for a long time now, for all of our vehicle needs - tires, oil change, repairs, windshield replacement, etc - and they take the best care of us, always. Ted is our main guy and knows us by name; he genuinely cares about his customers and making sure were satisfied, and does everything he can to make sure our vehicles are handled right. Its not often that you find a decent, honest, and friendly mechanic - but we definitely have, with Big O in Silver!

Nearly 20 years of experience with them for trucks, cars and trailers. Always very easy to deal with and predictable. Maybe not as cheap as Walmart, but a very professional bunch, and being part of a national chain has helped out once on a road trip. We like em!

I blew a tire while on some mountain trails and ended up cruising on a spare. I called Big O right at 8 and was answered by an outstanding associate. He was able to find the tire I needed, a discontinued mud terrain, and gave me an excellently price. I was in their shop the same morning and out again within a hour. By far the best experience with any shop I have ever had.

We are from Houston, TX and are making the 13 hour trip back tomorrow and I needed to get my tires checked. There ended up being a nail in one tire and Big O Tires fixed the flat but because it took so long to fix they didnt charge us anything!!! If we lived around Silver City this would certainly be our tire place!!! Great service!

Staff? Some are amazing, some not so much, but Id never buy tires anywhere else. Best tire store anywhere. The great staff more than make up for the less enthusiastic ones.

Very helpful staff. Evaluation of a make of tire not in the inventory they carry, as to file a defect claim. They have gone out of the obligation to help out. Very pleased, and recommend this business.

I went to Big O in deming several years ago to have a front end alignment and the next time I went to Zumwalts. The Zumwalts are a family Bussiness, friendly, curtious and honest.

In the 90s, Big O in Silver City had impeccable customer service. Today: Buyer beware! Not only is this the worst example of smalltown service where who you know trumps consistent high quality customer service for all -- not just those who know the employees -- but the work is shoddy. Avoid this place unless youre part of the family.

I really feel that this business has something against people with a certain color of skin. The last 2 times I have gone here, they didnt treat me like a customer, they treated me more like I was bothering them. Then yesterday, I went in ready to purchase 5 new offroad tires. Same situation. . I guess these guys dont get paid commission. Back when I worked at Wards automotive, if we didnt sell tires, batteries, etc... we would end up owing the company money.

Went in on my lunch break and it took forever just to get my car keys, and when I went to pay the guy acted like my mom and I had no idea what we were talking about.

Accompanied my father to pick up his car after purchasing a set of new tires .He was quoted 350.00 for 4 P225/55R17 Aspen Touring Tires. Cost out the door? 499.00. First attempt to pick up the car and found one wheel had almost 6oz to balance and the next had none. Had to leave vehicle overnight and make return next morning. Come to find out the quote did not include mounting and balancing nor tire disposal fees. The quote also did not include a mandatory road hazard fee when purchasing Buy 3 get one free I appreciate they went back to rebalance the tires. I did not appreciate paying forthe free tire by a mandatory road hazard. As a customer for 15 years I would expect more than the response of we can put your old ones back on when we questioned the cost. Lesson learned to get a written estimate prior to work being done Will seriously reconsider before returning.

Got a lot of front end work done that had to be redone elsewhere. I reccomend Tinley t tire in deming NM. Do not go here unless you absolutely need to.

As soon as I walked in the door I felt uncomfortable. The short bald man at the front treated me like I had no idea what I was talking about when all I needed was a tire change. He and a woman working there were bad mouthing someone to a customer beside me. It was so unprofessional!! I was so shocked and disgusted that I left. I’m very disappointed with my experience there.

Installed a full set of tires and once they had installed them, they told me I have a very exspensive work needed to be done to my car and if I didnt fix it, it would void the warranty. They never should installed the tires without telling me first.
