I went in primarily to use the restroom. I used the womens restroom at the back of the store. I dont know if there are restrooms at the front of the store. The womens restroom at the back of the store was very clean and comfortable.The whole store was clean and brightly lit. I walked around the store for a while. No lack of products here. There was plenty of stuff to buy.I looked for the clearance section, but I never could find it. I ended up just buying postcards because a postcard person can never have too many postcards.

Good place to get what you need, usually have everything in stock, and the workers are friendly.

Employees didnt explain location of charcoal I was looking for. One told me it was in the wrong place (might have been there previously), and the other was undescriptive (it was outside in gardening section) so we walked around the whole indoor section and finally realized it was outside. Just annoying, still a good store, but if I ask for something common Id expect and employee to know its location.

This is a great place for a stop over although I was next to the railroad tracks, I slept very well and seems to me that the room is very well insulated...I had the air on because it was very hot. The staff is friendly and very helpful here. I had my small dog with me. The lady brought out my receipt for me and I gave her the keys. And even offered to get me a cup of coffee. So very sweet. I really enjoyed the coffee that was in the room. The room was very clean and comfortable. Definitely would stay there again. 💖 Oh! I took Snookers out several times at night, the parking lot was full of cars and trucks but there were spaces and grass he could check out without getting near the tracks. Also one of the 🕙s a police car drove thru so that made me feel safe also but there was no rowdiness that night as it was the week night so every one appears to be working or traveling. Had a stray cat that appeared and rubbed up wanting to be petted. We shared our food. They had a picnic table you could sit at. It was nice to see another couple feeding the cat also. Snookers likes cats and leaves them alone even when I pet them because we have them at 🏡.

Buy from small local business, not china-mart. If you HAVE to go the people are great but its a box store.

I pick-up my groceries which is awesome if you dont have time to actually shop and its convenient! My only issue is that the road into walmart is being redone so traffic is backed up about 1 miles, then we couldnt even make a left turn into Walmart at all! It took me 30 minutes to get to where to road opened up I had to make a left then turn around to go back to the entrance as it was only accessible way in!

These days this particular walmart is lacking a lot if items in the store. Whats going on? especially when it comes to finding particular baby formula its never been in stock!...either lazy employees or seriously they arent getting shipments because they arent ordering!

Its ridiculous 3 cashiers and the self check outs and still there are huge lines everyone is very upset about the situation. Alot of this people just got off work and the least they want is having to wait in a line.

Went in looking for small items because we are traveling. Needed a tire pressure gage. We were having a hard time finding it. A store worker named Javier took us right to the location. Kudos!)

This is the nicest Walmart weve seen in any state traveling from FL to Wyoming and down to Arizona, then Silver City, NM. Love the doors on the refrigerator areas that are left open at other stores. Best bags weve ever gotten at a Walmart made of heavy gauge plastic thats ♻️ recyclable. And CLEAN. Kudos to the Silver City Walmart. Please share this information with all of the Jacksonville, FL stores. Business would increase if their stores mimicked the NM store.

Its ok i guess, if you like all the employees at self check out surrounding you making sure that everything gets scanned (which your stereotyped the moment you walk in)oh but if you need like paint or make up or anything thats locked up you gotta ask about 3 different associates before you get what you need.

Horrendous Customer Service experience. I was bullied by an associate; his manager came out and said...oh well...They have no actual people to check you out at the cashier stands; it’s only self-service at Silver City Walmart. I was overcharged by fifty dollars and had to jump through multiple hoops and talk with everyone in the store to get my funds properly returned. They looked at security footage finally and confirmed that the previous customer’s purchases had been added to mine. Greeters and electronics departments are great 👍.

Employee at the door had his mask only covering his mouth. His nose was out. That is not safe. Un vaccinated and Vaccinated people can get covid. He is at the door where customers enter and leave. This is dangerous.

What a generally horrid place. The employees look at the ground rather than smile or say hi. If they have a good product that sells, they stop carrying it. The employees are so unprofessional. I have seen them screaming, swearing and just messing around. The pickup shoppers act very rudely. They act as if you arent there and they own the aisle.

I use on line shopping at Walmart then go pick up my groceries. I dont mind substitutions for the majority of my grocery items. And I state as much on my Walmart online shopping site. Therefore, when I go pick up my groceries I would expect that my food items be substituted with a similar, but, of course not the same exact product. Because, when I order an item it is because that is an item I am out of and therefore would appreciate being substituted. Especially, when I know for a fact there are many, many of the similar items that could be used for a substitute such as coffee creamer. Obviously, I order grocery items for a reason, because I am out of it. And obviously there is a reason I dont prefer to go into Walmart to get an item not substituted on my list. So, please teach your young, inexperienced grocery shoppers the reasons why people choose what they choose and why they specify they do not mind substituted items. And make sure an item will be (if available) substituted. I know for a fact there was more than one coffee milk that could have been substituted and it wasnt. I was shopping for an upcoming surgery where I will not be able to drive and I look forward to my morning coffee with creamer. Of course now there will be no coffee with any creamer for awhile. Thank you. Point made!!!!!!

If you are headed out to the lake i would recommend to stop and get what you need and i love the sakes they have a check out they are durable and reusable i will be going back for sure

Honestly? I love it❣ The Employees at the Silver City Walmart have been super helpful and kind. Ive never had a bad experience there, not once! I love checking out in the self checkout isle, its very convenient and kinda fun!

Everything and anything, safe and pandemic restricted for the season, can find anything as long as I have the time and energy for it and usually cheaper than anywhere else, great selections on well everything.. just dont expect much from their employees, the greeters greet and thats usually your only hello from the workers.

None of the employees were helpful. There was no one in the bakery available to write a simple happy birthday on a cake I wanted. I took it home and am still trying to figure out how to write it on the cake nicely and not mess it up. The lady in womens couldnt tell me where the socks were moved to. She said they want on clearance and no longer available. Well I found them elsewhere and a whole rack full of various styles. That didnt seem to me to be no longer available. I saw a male employee filling up a cart at a clearance rack and he said he has so much clothes now that he purchased so cheap that they dont fit in his closet. I stated maybe you should let others have a chance to buy a few too. He just laughed.

Dirty store, items have the wrong prices always.Staff is not cooperative and lazy. Sent me 3 or 4 different directions to look for an item that I was told this, we dont have it, Im not sure, but never once moved to find out. Finally, I found a person who was willing to help and fi d what I was looking for! Horrible store!

Worst issue is all the construction to try to get there. Avoid if possible.

I was here 2 years ago...nothing has changed...hurry up and wait and wait for the restocking of items that are needed for everyday life ! Its been said that management is to blame, but the problem still exsists 2 years later.My input says the help is just not efficent or does not care.

Due to Covid rules in New Mexico we had to wait for 10 minutes to get inside (ocupancy restrictions ) but there was plenty of food and several areas with Xmas specials. Actually a very clean store.

Massive inventory. Lowes accounts are very convenient. Helpful staff.

Thankful to have them as part of our community. They give back to the betterment of the area.

Stand outside freezing while waiting in line to get in, due to 75 people occupancy regulations. A lot of items are not restocked and I have seen rotten produce items. Some of the cashiers are kind of rude. I guess these are things we must deal with since its the only grocery store in the area with decent prices, and one of the only places still open.

Curbside pickup is a waste of time. We arrived after we received notification that our order was ready. Internet check in was not working, no one was answering phone, and mailbox was full. Finally we managed to talk to someone bringing out groceries and they put us on the list. They said there was only 2 people bringing out groceries. All 14 spaces were full and a line of cars waiting to park. We have now been parked here for over an hour and no groceries in sight.

While pushing my cart to my car I almost got hit by a crazy man driving a big truck...he actually revved his engine then slammed on his brakes. Yes Virginia there are crazy people out there. Lots of empty shelves.

Why does every thing i buy beyond food wear out prematurely ? Last year alone we returned various smoothie makers blenders some lasted 30 drinks and failed, boots stitching started coming out b4 i could break them in, the bathroom faucet lasted 6 months and started leaking at the valve, the kitchen faucet i purchased last winter has an issue with the spray hose and wont shut off properly i picked up a couple barometers got home and realized the meters were 30% off from each other sitting side by side on the table, the heater i bought in november died last night, perfect just out of warranty by 3 weeks and spring inventory is out, so im likely not find a replacement. gosh ide love to spend a large part of my income every month at a place that sold stuff lasts.....

One of the nicest Walmart I’ve seen especially for a small town. Excellent pick up service. It looks like they are very conscious about wearing masks and keeping their customers safe.

I just wanted to write about my experience at walmart the other day when the power went out. I had my car in automotive getting some new wipers. Well once the power went out a lot of the workers were panicking and being pretty rude. But everyone back in automotive Karen Sabrina and Brianna and Eva were amazing!! They went above and beyond to help us get everything taken care of. Thank you so much girls!

Pretty much like any other Walmart. But the shelfs were near bare and of course the registers open for 100 folks trying to check out of the place. Definitely need more than that to maint social distancing.

I love in Deming but I was in Silver and I stopped by the store because I needed a crate to train my puppy and I have seen it on special on Walmart app and then was a little bit more expensive at the store and thank goodness that the cashier was able to give it to me at the price the Walmart app had, also I want to say that the store is humongous it is very big and when I went to the pet area I was able to find things that Im not able to find in the Deming Walmart they have very much variety of dog stuff, special needs a dog snacks in the big plastic canister that I buy in Deming there only one kind of snacks and the silver Walmart I saw at least two different variety a snacks for dogs and thats what I needed for my pup so Im very happy with everything I was able to buy for my puppy so my smog check when completely to my puppies new things and to Walmart oh, I just wish Walmart what to give some kind of gift to all the customers that spend so much money within a month at Walmart, Us customer spend hundreds of not thousands of dollars within one month and Walmart and Walmart dont even give us 1/4 of us customers spent at least every other month they should have like a raffle thing for customers that spend over a certain amount of cash do a raffle on something to make customers come back and not regret the money they have spent at the store, because I know sometimes I have taken back certain things to the store because I need the money for other things or I regret buying what I so come on Walmart you could do it talk with the manager talk to the upper ones from the managers CEO or whoever it is do something for the community do something for your people do something for your customers because customers come first.

Its WalMart, has those things you need. You go grab em, get a little lost. Watch folks fumble in the self checkout line and then pay and leave. Cleaner than most.

The usual Wally World stuff. Half of their self-check-out were glitching when I was there. The lady got mad at me that I had to switch machines twice because they wouldnt let me pay. Customer service there is almost as daft as the machinery. But thats Walmart for you. One-stop shopping comes with a few inconveniences. Overall, I got three odd ball items and spent more time checking out than shopping. Cant really complain though.

Visit was terrible 1 cashier on the tobacco isle only. No other cashiers only 1. I stood in line for 20 min before they opened up another cash register. Makes not want to shop at your establishment. Oh and I had to call customer service to even get a cashier to show up.

I dont know how this Walmart does inventory or how things are chosen to sell at which location but Silver City Walmart has the worst selection of items compared to any other Walmart Ive shopped at and why are so many things out of stock constantly? Like where did all the good ramen go???????? Hahaha 😂
