I liked the initial visit but I will never go back. I have been calling for months requesting my contact prescription that I paid for. They will not release it to me because they want me to buy contacts through their office. I have a brand that I love but they want me to buy some that are uncomfortable and more expensive. I have never in my 15 years of wearing contacts/ glasses had such a difficult time with an office. They will not return my calls and when they do answer I am always told that they will call me back and never do. Do not go here. My appointment was in March and I still have not been able to get my prescription.

Dr. Van Dran was such a blessing to meet! She really cares about people and what she does! Dr. Van Dran wants to make sure I get into the right prescription, so they order me 3 sets of contacts, to see what works best for my eyes. Most eye doctors just want to get on the next patient, but she took her time. Thank you very much!

I was driving through Silver City when one of my contacts ripped. I didnt have a backup pair and I didnt have my glasses, so I was facing the unpleasant prospect of driving another couple of hours with one eye closed.After calling Dr. Van Drans office, they tracked down my prescription at my optometrist back home and helped me get a new contact so that I could finish the trip with both eyes open. Its easy to take little things for granted until theyre gone.Judging by the way they helped a total stranger like me, who offers virtually no potential for repeat business, I would imagine theyd take excellent care of anyone who gives them a shot.

The staff is very friendly and helpful. Dr. Van Dran is easy to talk to and clearly knows her stuff. I will continue to get my eye exams and glasses there.

Dr. Van Dran is a good optometrist. My family and I have been patients of hers for over six years. She is informative of our eye care wants and needs. I love her staff! They are welcoming and very attentive during our visits. These ladies really know eyewear and will help you find the best frames to fit your face and style.

I was seen promptly, treated with respect, and all my questions were answered thoroughly. Tech Rebecca and Dr. Van Dran were friendly and professional. They welcomed me to the community and gave me assurances that my vision was their priority.

I have been wearing glasses for 45 years and Rhonda is the first eye doctor to screw up my prescription so badly that I cannot wear the glasses that I received from her and paid a lot of money for. SHE IS COMPLETELY INEPT !

Ive used the Van Dran team for a few years now. The first time I believe was for a Stroke where I had a vien in my left eye burst. Mrs Van Dran was quick to diagnose and recommend a treatment plan. My vision was partially lost although I do have pariferal vision. Each year the team has provided me with my prescription.I had an incident this year where something was in my eye. I had gone to the ER where the Dr. could not get me out of the pain I was in. I left the and went to Dr. Van Drans office. She treated my eye problem and had me out of pain withing 20 minutes or so.Each visit I found all of the Van Dran team to act in a professional manner and be absolutely delightful to deal with.Sincerely,Christopher Garst

She is always on her cell phone instead of doing her job when your in there with her, shes constantly talking about stuff that is irrelevant to the appointment, and when I took my 6 year old in for her first appointment, instead of asking me if I was comfortable with leaving my daughter alone with her, she had her assistant come in and ask me to quickly sign some patient papers which turned out to be a lie and told me that Dr. Bedford does better with the kids when the parents arent in the room. Do not take your kids to this woman.

Dr. Bedford (formerly Van Dran) felt it was her duty to push her political agenda onto me while I was being examined. She not only informed me that progressives will ruin America but also that I (a Hispanic person) should not be concerned with African American peoples struggles (specifically the Black Lives Matter Movement ) as they do not apply to me. I felt very awkward, trapped and ambushed by her distasteful exam small talk. I did not initiate any sort of conversation with her nor have I ever with any sort of public professional. I have been going to Dr. Bedford for years, she does well with my troublesome eyes, however; I will never return to her practice.
