Like some of the other reviewers this company did not show, call or text when they missed my 3p appointment today. I initially scheduled for an install Monday but because their mounts were back ordered we rescheduled to Wednesday (same week). The representative said the mounts would be in by then. Wednesday AFTER 4PM I texted to get an ETA and I was informed the mounts hadn’t even come in. Thanks for the great communication and considering my time! NOT! I advise you guys to seek another reliable business.

Sam did an amazing job with my tv, soundbar, and wall mounted shelf. This is my second time using Smart TV to setup my living room entertainment, and I will definitely be calling Sam in the future whenever I need. His work is very clean, with all wires being hidden from view. He takes his time, and treats each job like its his own house. His price is great compared to competitors, and he is very friendly as well.

Sam does a great job. He has installed several TVs for us at various office spaces. Smart TV Installers is our go-to for TV installation.

Like most reviewers have already stated, Sam did an amazing job. He set up my two OLEDs and soundbar securely and accurately. He even placed one on a concrete pillar in my bedroom. I still marvel at how sleek it looks. Friends dont even notice it...I have to point out the TV to them.

Sam put up an 85” television above our fireplace and it looks great. I had originally booked him to run wires behind the wall, but he quickly diagnosed that wouldn’t be possible, but he was prepared with an alternative solution, which he installed on the spot. He was also flexible with scheduling. Great job, I’d hire him again!

DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE! They installed my TV and it fell off the wall! I have been contacting them for last 3 days and cant get anyone to call me.. I am going to the Better Business Bureau and Consumer Protection Agency to report them..They took no time taking my money..but disappear when the work is not done correctlyDONT TRUST THEM

I saw the reviews about this business, specifically those about installers not showing up for confirmed appointment times and not communicating anything with the customer, but I chose to give them a try anyway. I had an 8am appointment this morning and no one showed up. No call, no text, no email to reschedule or explain their absence. This is not an acceptable way to do business. I was looking forward to supporting this business but will be seeking other options now.

Never showed, despite speaking to an actual person when setting up appointment and confirming we were in their service area (Sam said that was why most people get no show crews). Got two text updates on the day of (at time of appt, not ahead of time) saying they were delayed, but almost 2 hours after appointment time we gave up and hired another company. Tried calling 3 times but only got automated system. Never got responses to texts either.

Highly recommend. Will use them again for our other TV!

I have used Smart TV Installers recently, my husband and I moved into a new home and needed 5 TV’s installed. Sam is the owner and he was very knowledgeable about mounting our TVs and explaining anything we asked him. I used Smart TV Installers a couple of years back and his service was excellent years ago and is. I would recommend using Smart TV Installers if you are looking for top rated service.

I was looking for a tv mount service near me and i found this company, but after I read the reviews and the way the company representative replayed to its disappointed customers showed me how rude and unprofessional they are! No thank you !

Awful customer service. I had an initial appointment which was cancelled by the provider 30 minutes before the scheduled installation time on Friday. The technician asked to re-schedule for the following day (Saturday) which I agreed to, this was the first and only time during our experience with SMART TV Installers where we talked to someone. There are times when something comes up and people have emergencies, inconvenienced but not a huge deal. The following day I received a text message 30 minutes after the scheduled installation time informing me that my appointment would need to be rescheduled for Sunday. On Sunday morning I again received another text message saying the appointment would need to be rescheduled for Monday.All interactions with this company are done through an automated system. When you call the support number the automated message directs you to text the support number. We sent text messages several times requesting additional information about the cancelled appointments and rescheduling times and never received a response, just to give you an idea of how they conduct business.We sacrificed a whole weekend waiting for SMART TV Installers to show up for 3 scheduled/rescheduled appointments. I’m sure they do decent work if someone would ever show up to their agreed scheduled appointment, however, we never got the service.If your going to cancel appointments do it in advance and be forthright about future availability. If I could give this company less than one star I would because of the time that we will never get back from waiting on these no-shows.EDIT: I think the owners reply makes it clear they do not see any issues in cancelling appointments minutes before and after SCHEDULED appointment times. Also, I’m not the same person as the other reviewer. If you read the other one star reviews It is evident this is a reoccurring issue.

I made an appointment Tuesday evening online and Sam came at 10:AM Wednesday morning. He mounted three televisions in about two hours. I am very happy with the experience, professionalism and knowledge Sam had. Thank you Sam and happy Holidays.

Samuel did a very professional job! Friendly service, would recommend to anyone. He was very conscious of leaving a mess and cleaned up thoroughly. TV looks great on my wall, even hide the plug in the backside of the wall!

This is an unreliable service provider. I completed an appointment reservation and received confirmation email and text messages. On the day of the appointment I received another confirmation text. No one showed up and I received no phone call or text indicating what happened. I left a voicemail and sent a text message to their main number per the suggestion on their voicemail greeting. I still havent received a call back or response. Their voice mailbox is full as of right now and no one is picking up the phone.

The best experience I ever had with a TV Mounting. Super friendly and got both TV’s done very quickly. Highly recommend them!

Unprofessional service. The first time they called 10 minutes prior to the scheduled appointment time to cancel. The second and third time that they cancelled, they did not even bother to call but rather texted a new appointment time without asking if the day or time would work. It doesn’t cost any money and takes very little effort to communicate professionally with customers - you know whether you can make it to an appointment more than 10 minutes prior to the scheduled appointment time, yet each cancellation was last minute which maximized the time we spent waiting. After multiple cancellations a different company installed our TV on the same day for significantly less money. It was an installation of a Frame TV with a unique mount on a brick fireplace and looks great. Save yourself a headache and don’t waste your time.

Smart TV Installers were easy to make an appointment with and communicative before our appointment so that I felt confident that he was going to be able to exactly what I needed. Sam worked efficiently and did a beautiful job installing a TV on our new porch. His price was better than any of the alternatives identified.Im so glad that I found Sam and Smart TV Installers and look forward to having the opportunity to work with him again.

AMAZING work mounting a TV and sound bar in our family room. We have an oddly shaped wall that juts out about 1.5 inches in the middle of the wall, a remnant from previously knocking down a wall and merging two rooms. Sam managed to find a way to mount both TV and sound bar despite the wall not being even, and they look perfect. Mounted another TV and sound bar in our bedroom, also perfect. Very professional, great price, would recommend him to others!

I dont know how good their work is because no one ever showed up for the installation appointment despite them asking to move the appointment up to an earlier time. No one at Smart TV Installers LLC responds to repeated emails, texts or phone calls. Not a savvy way to run a business.

Outstanding job! We needed to mount a new 65 on the family room wall in a rush because we had people coming over the next day to watch a movie. So we called Sam who was extremely kind to add it to his busy schedule at the end of the same day. He came even earlier than anticipated, did a perfect job and charged a very low price compared to Best Buy or other large companies. He masterfully hid the AC outlet and cable, and was able to tilt the TV just enough to have the perfect view angle while sitting on the sofa. The TV is now up on the wall and looks simply great. Highly recommended!

Great service!! We had a 65 TV installed over our fireplace. We got an appointment quickly, and the tech arrived on time and did a superb job!! He untangled and streamlined the sloppy work from the prior tv techs we had (Starr Systems). They set everything up beautifully and ensured all worked properly. Smart TV Installers are now our go to TV techs. So glad we found them!

This team was so professional and nice. They showed up exactly when they said they would and took great effort to ensure their work was perfect.We had a 15 year old plasma TV we wanted to replace with a new TV, but wanted to avoid cutting new holes in the drywall above the fireplace.Emily and her brother spent the time to pull the old cables through the existing holes - not easy - then ran the new cables through the existing pathway with only the smallest new cut in the wall.Other big box installation crews might have just sliced a big hole across the drywall in frustration.Thank You for caring - and hanging the new TV perfectly even across the wall.

No show to my scheduled appointment despite 2 email confirmations, 2 text confirmations. No phone calls, texts, or voicemails were ever returned. I booked this appointment a week and half in advance. Huge waste of my time.

I just had a similar experience as the last review by William Douglas. The installer showed up 1 hour later than scheduled and did not have a mask. He was wearing a neck gaiter - which has been shown to be ineffective at blocking the small aerosol particles that cause COVID-19 infection (as published by MIT: single-layer gaiter blocked only 10 percent of 0.5-micron particles, while the two-layer gaiter blocked 20 percent).With COVID-19 rates on the rise in the DMV this week, I was uncomfortable with letting him in with only a gaiter instead of a mask. I asked him if he had a mask of any type (the words official were never used) -- just not a neck gaiter, and explained why based on the info above.. He agreed to go buy a mask and said he would be right back. 30 minutes later, I called to ask where he was, and he told me that he left the job and was not coming back! He said someone could come back tomorrow - when I responded that I am not available tomorrow, he said he would call me right back. Well, he never called back and no one responded when I called or texted. By the way, even before today, just as the other reviewer also experienced, no one ever answers the phone when you call - ever.

Sam did a fantastic job mourning and running wires through our walls. He was thoughtful in his approach and ending up saving us additional time and money. He is considerate, professional, and very skilled in his line of work. We will absolutely use him in the future and recommend him to our friends and family.

Scheduled an appointment online on a Friday evening. They were out the next day right on time.The job was to mount and run wire for a above the fireplace but the gap between the wall and the brick was very narrow and a bit more complicated than your typical install.The job required a number of small holes in the wall to run the wire and unfortunately the spackling didn’t try in time to paint but they came back the very next day to finish the job.Very nice to work with. Extremely tidy, professional and friendly. Would 100% use them again.
