I have ordered over the phone from Elli-Chai several times. They are always pleasant and very helpful. My order always arrives in a timely manner. A lot quicker that most places I have ordered from. The owner is so nice and always tries to help me with whatever I am looking for.

This is a poorly stocked store with the worst service ever. I was the only customer, yet the owner chose to talk to his toddler rather than to me. I wandered around for at least 15 minutes and other than answering direct questions, he never spoke to me or asked if he could help me with anything.They have a decent selection of books and a little Judaica, kippot, etc, but the selection is poor. If, like me, you have to drive over an hour to find a Jewish book and Judaica store, dont pick this one; you will be disappointed. Id give it zero stars if I could.

A good selection of the basics (great for buying oil chanukiah supplies), some fancy things for sale, and a small bookshop. Could use more Hebrew-English dictionaries.

Im writing this review to refute the nonsense spewed by an obviously disgruntled customer who complained of the owner refusing to talk to her. Seems from what she wrote the owner was TAKING CARE of his child, and far from ignoring her answered any question she might have had. My experience as a customer at this store as been nothing but a pleasure, and my every question/request has been met with courtesy and politeness. As far as the accusation that the store is poorly stocked, well thats BS too. This store has all the items you may need from candles to kiddush cups, to yarmulkes and tallits. Please take a moment to see how wrong this reviewer is and drop in for a visit. You wont be disappointed!

They were very pleasant and had what we wanted. They had a nice selection of tallit.

I buy over the phone since I live far from any Judaica stores. The owner is helpful and I always get great service.
