I spoke with the manager Cathy about mask wearing here because I have my two year old with me often. I was kind of in shock on Sunday at how many people did not have a mask on, ( I would say around 15-25) . It was absolutely ridiculous! I’m like dodging people to protect my child. Everyone that is at risk ( including children) are taking a huge leap of faith walking into this location. I’ve seen it multiple times at this location which is why I went to the manager. Her reply was…” we try”. I say try harder! Get security or politely ask them to leave. I do not see this at Trader Joe’s, Target, or Sprouts. This is not being enforced even though there is still a state wide mandate. You can almost guarantee if the aren’t masked they aren’t vaccinated. I’m infuriated by the behavior and the response! Get your act together Walmart!!! You are putting people at risk! This is not political! This is about safety!!!

We went to get childrens clothing and was very surprised at the selection. Clothes were on the racks in size order and nothing on the floor. We found what we were looking for and more. Prices are still reasonable even after all the merchandise waiting to be uploaded.I always choose the Simi Velley Walmart before any other. Parking is great and do not have to worry about being parked in by other cars.

When you need something right away and the closet store is Walmart, it became a life saver for me. I was eating some Carne asada tacos at work and I got a piece of meat stuck between my teeth. It was irritating and I didnt have any floss around so luckily I have a Walmart across the street from my work office. The parking lot is huge so you wont have any issues finding parking. When I walked in, there a greeter by the door and I was able to find what I was looking for right away. I went to the self checkout because I only had 2 items. Their machine was kind of slow but I was able to pay for my item and leave. There also a person watching the exit, I guess to be a lookout for theft. I was in and out within like 5 minutes. I wore my mask and everyone I saw had their mask on as well.

There werent that many people in the store for black friday. We found everything we wanted. And came back a 2nd time in the evening. To get more Toys to give to the Thousand Oaks Police Dept. We dropped them off on are way home, made it all so easy

I always find what I need at a price I feel is fair at Walmart. This is a very big location. Went in to pick up a few new clothes for work and was also able to grab a few groceries and a couple of things for my dog. This location has good parking, self checkout and a great variety of products and brands!

I really love Walmart and I love the great deals, but unfortunately today my curbside pick up took over 25 minutes . i had to call twice for them to bring my stuff out. on top of that I had items missing and was still charged for them. now i have to chase down the manager to get a refund and contacted customer support and said it would take 24-48 hrs to get a response from the store

Stopped @ Walmart to grab some chocolate milk. Today is 5/23/21…All I wanted was some chocolate milk. What they had was expired by about three weeks but still on the shelf. I bought some Orange Juice instead and stood in line for over 20 minutes because they only had two lanes open and I got stuck behind someone buying at least a dozen gift cards. I would have just left but I was thirsty so I had already started drinking the juice before I realized I was going to be stuck in line. I refuse to use self checkout because without exaggerating at all, I have literally never successfully used self checkout at any Walmart without it seizing up and making me wait for an employee to come and help me which means I then have to wait for the employee to get done helping all the other people who have the same problem before they can help me. The only reason I used to shop at Walmart was because I could grab a box of ammo with my groceries. The customer service has always been terrible and thats just accepted due to the price and convenience. The scales of convenience have tipped so hard now though that the price isnt enough to justify it

Probably not their fault, but their freezer/refrigerator sections look like someone ransacked the place. Other isles had plenty of stuff.

Terrible. The service was terrible. The employees were rude. They didnt want to help me with finding anything when I asked. One lady told me that what I wanted, replied Its not my department. When I asked if she could call someone from that department she said, Theyre unloading the truck. I cant get anybody now. Awful service. I would give ZERO stars if I could.

They dont answer the phone.... after getting home and finding a box just purchased with no main product in it.... so do I turn around and drive all the way back from over 10 miles away?

Nothing ever happen here in Simi Valley considering not my favourite area to work in but Walmart makes it exciting no doubt any boring city you come across and find yourself looking for...you guessed it, its Diet Pepsi and nothing else that really prompted me to checkin Walmart.

We had a party in their banquet room they were very helpful in anything we needed.The food was delicious.Also the price was very reasonable we had Brazilian dancing group.

This Walmart has a decent selection of goods, but its not a superstore. If you just need to pick up a few groceries, they have most staples. You would not be shipping here to stock your fridge for the week.

The staff its always so friendly and helpful and I can get everything I need in one place, with good quality at low prices. Its my second home! 😂

I never had been to Walmart before in my entire life, because i always thought it was a cheap and bad quality store, but that was not the case. The quality of the items are good for having such a low price. There are countless things you could buy in that store, from clothes to food to even camping supplies. It was like walking into a warehouse filled with things i could use everyday and that appealed to me. My friend wanted me to come with him so i did and i can say i was not dissapointed whatsoever.

I continuously keep trying to call this store with them picking up the phone and hanging up on me! I call customer service at this Walmart and the lady on the phone is very rude. It’s obvious she hates her job and me calling was an inconvenience. I was just trying to get some information on an oil change, but every time I was transferred they hung up on me too. After 3 times of trying, I gave up. I will not be going here for anything. Hopefully they can go under new management that can retrain these staff members about good customer service.

Turtle is the name of a nice and hardworking man. He is a cashier at Walmart and he is usually there when we come to shop! what I really appreciate is the way he packs stuff in bags, the way he communicates, and how professional he is! I wish more of Walmart people would be like him! To some these gestures mean nothing but to me these gestures mean the world. When I come home I put things away in a beat! I hope his supervisors see this comment and help him go up on the scale!

Its walmart, thats all i can say. We know how walmart is, and we still go because you get what you pay for. The actual goods are same as anywhere, but you save money at the cost of any customer service at all, long lines, and all the things a more expensive store offers.

Aside from the interesting people you see, and added security, this store is neat and contains a variety of items from groceries ( including perishables ), clothing, electronics and craft supplies. The service is great upon entering and leaving the store, but trying to get someone with a somewhat happy attitude to help you is hard to do. They lock up the makeup products to prevent theft, but no one is around to unlock the cabinet. I asked three times, and finally had to call the store to get help! All in all, its a good store as long as you dont need much customer service from their employees.

They close at 11 again and no where did it say nor did anyone let us know they would be closing at 10 the other night. I’m assuming due to the construction from remodel as prior to 10 they had construction going on everywhere it was overwhelming and the workers were extremely rude

As for most Walmarts it had almost everything you want & dont need- however this one sets itself apart by the rude & unfriendly staff! Time to update your customer service training out of the stone age & train your staff to smile & help your customers.So glad their stores are NOT all the same!

We rented an RV and ordered food from here. They had everything we needed for the week.

I showed up at 8pm. All registers are closed and self-check was the only option. I asked the monitor about the situation and he said theyve been doing this (shutting down registers) in preparation for a remodel where the majority of checkout will be self-serve.I thanked him for the warning. Ill be shopping at Target (cleaner) from now on.

Self-checkout is not the best option when you’re shopping late at night and have a full cart full of things. Takes forever. Otherwise the store is fairly clean and has a wide variety of items. Small frozen food section.

I have very bad anxiety. Its to the point I refuse to leave my house unless its extremely important. I say this because I want you to know why I value this place so highly.Their order pickup staff are the friendliest people Ive ever met. They go out of their way to help make sure everything is ok with your order. Theyll even help take it to your car if necessary.The pharmacy staff are also friendly. As well as the Service Desk. To be perfectly honest I havent run into anyone that wasnt nice.But not everything is unicorns and rainbows. It can be difficult to find someone to help you sometimes. It seems like everyone on the floor goes on break at the same time. Also, the manager never seems to plan for someone to cover for those on lunch or on break.Other than that its really a great place to run in and out for whatever you need.

It was disappointing to see employees using the handicapped stall when all other stalls were available on our way in and out of the store. My sister is confined to a wheelchair and has to have the additional access.

I regularly only get a few items from Walmart because of the great pricing, even better than big online mega sellers, it really saves me some bucks as I purchase a couple of items at least twice a month. So, lately I have checked a couple of prices on other items I was going to purchase and I was glad I did, that is of course if they have what your looking for.

Not crowded. Lots of parking. Bought a frozen pie for dessert. Reasonable price. Easy in and out.

Walmart has a wide selection of items for a reasonable prices.This particular location is always busy and parking is usually not easy at this location. But, overall its a decent place to shop.

Wow some of the employees here are just so rude. They wouldn’t even acknowledge me when I was in line for a return. Once I said I was there for a return, still no response and didn’t bother to greet. When they finally decided to help me, I felt they were bothered with my presence and had an attitude. She was even sighing. Management really needs to work on teaching their employees to greet customers respectfully, as well as making them comfortable. Main reason why I never go here...

I like Walmart, and frequently shop there. But today they get one Star.I was checking out Purchasing my items to find out they were out of plastic bags, but could buy theres for $1 each.I had a full basket of small items, so I was pretty much stuck buying them.Just so you know, it isnt really about the money, as is the principle. I spend tons of money with this company, their families are worth billions and they cant even give away bags that probably cost them a penny.Pretty pathetic!

Large popular shop has almost anything that you need for your daily household needs. Good prices, many checkout lines, short wait for checking out. Currently limited purchase quantity for toilet paper, pair towel, and disinfection products.

The people who check the reciepts on the way out take forever. When im in a rush i hate these reciept checkers they always have a long line..i dont see the purspose for this i kinda feel offended that they check my reciept ..

This is a pretty good Walmart location. Everything was well organized within the store and very easy to find. It seems that they also had a great selection of groceries as well. I do not think that they had a vegetable section that was as complete as other Walmarts.

The staff were really nice and the guy that was at the exit was friendly. This would be a huge renovation idea and probably wont get seen but the aisles feel smaller then when Im walking down smart and final.

Worst customer service when it comes too having them open any cases!

The wait to pick up an order was 15 minutes long. Normally I would not complain about 15 minutes. But, I was the only one waiting. So, in my opinion it should not have been so long. However, the staff was super friendly.

Theres no one around to help when you need assistance.
