I love the great (and growing) selection of organics...from fruits and vegetables to dairy products to chips, Publix offers a variety of options for grocery shoppers. Competitive prices with fast and friendly checkout service, too.

This location is always clean and has a great selection of goods. The seafood department is one of my favorites compared to other grocery stores. Staff is always friendly and eager to assist with any inquiry.

I come here all the time and staff are very friendly. On this occasion, I had the pleasure of being helped my Conner in the deli. This young man, was extremely polite, had a wonderful demeanor and went above and beyond to help me. I’ve been in management for years and I definitely see strong potential in this young man.

Nice store, timing of online order pickup for Deli items could use improvement. Last 3 online orders for sandwiches were not ready at the scheduled pickup time.

Left Lowes because the sub guy was taking 10 mins to make one sub. We needed 8!!! Came over Publix. Always have know their subs are great. Connor at the deli section is a riot and really great guy. Publix he needs a raise $$$

Publix where shopping use to be a pleasure. Since the re-model it has turned into a maze that completely counters any attempt at social distancing. Also be prepared to wonder around aimlessly trying to find anything. Everything has moved and little is labeled on the aisle markers, or even close to where it use to be. A failed remodel for sure!

The Chick-Fil-A of grocery stores

Publix associates are SOOOO helpful and friendly. The one comment I must make about the produce department though is this: their availability of fresh jicama is spotty at best. I can buy it elsewhere but we prefer to buy from Publix. Wish they could fix that supply chain problem reliably.

I was very disappointed in Jessica. I asked where the vital wheat gluten was? The first associate asked Jessica to help and she said Yes! It is on aisle 1. She just pointed. She was doing nothing. Okay that was fine. But it was not there. I asked 4 different associates but at least they were honest. Then at the register she came up. Still doing nothing. And I said its on aisle 5 not one. They were out of it. She said I said aisle 5 or 1!! With attitude. I said whatever. I could not believe it. I always thought Publix had exceptional customer service.... Bad.

The deli service is terrible. Ordered meat and cheese for pick up, when I arrive at the time it was suppose to be ready it wasn’t so I gave them time and shopped around did another round still not ready.. an hour after ordering the deli meat it is still not in the online pick up and they have one person working in the back not acknowledging customers. I speak to another employee who grabs the lead Tish or Tisha, who was extremely rude. I explained my deli meats are still not ready 30 minutes after the time they gave me. She said “well did you ask anyone?” .. I ordered online I shouldn’t need to ask anyone for what is suppose to be an easy in store pick up. She did not comp anything or seem apologetic she just said there’s a lot going on. I can understand that if you’re willing to be nice about it but she came off like it was my problem for not asking. As someone who care takes for those hard of hearing it is not easy to approach and communicate to people for everyone. That is why online pick up is so nice and important to keep on top of. As someone who shops here weekly multiple times I will not be returning. Tish or Tisha needs to be taught customer service as I walked by her earlier while waiting and didn’t get a hello as she was stocking things in the area, she should NOT be a leader.

They NEVER have what you need or want from the deli. We’ve gone to purchase food for a tailgate, for which we ordered ahead and paid for (a tray), showed up, had no record of it. It’s always something with this one. Of the area Publix, this is easily the worst.

We bought ground sirloin in larger packs. We got home and I opened the pkgs to separate the meat into 2 freezer bags. Publix had pink fresh meat over brown meat, to sell their old stock! I took pictures of the meat and the label to show how disgusting the meat on the inside looked. Dont buy meat ther

Very nice. They are changing around. I only went in yo get my prescriptions. The pharmacy is now located to the far left front of the store. Still working on a drive through. Parking lot has been replaced. It wasnt busy at all. Every store associate was cleaning something.

I love the Five Forks Publix Always clean, friendly, and helpful. Things I especially like: no card so no tracking what you purchase, they take your cart out so you don’t have to go put it up. Bilo doesn’t have half the things on my list. Never go there anymore. And I like the new Lowe’s and thought I would shop there a lot but I don’t. Publix is my store. One day I got an eggplant and cut it to use it for supper. It was bad so I rushed back to buy a new one. I had to ask the produce guy for one and told him what happened. He got me one and wrote a note for the cashier telling her I didn’t need to pay for the new one. Very nice.

There is a real disappointment in the remodel. Shelves are never stocked. Lets not discuss the deli... impossible.... do not ask for thick sliced deli meat, they do not understand that.When you check out and they ask if you found everything and say no, that is ignored.What a disappointment....

I had an issue where the sandwiches I picked up in the deli case were mislabeled. When I called the store I was told to bring the back. Vicki was at the customer counter up front. She was very helpful and pleasant. She made sure the deli had my correct sandwiches ready when I arrived. And gave me a credit due to my inconvenience. She also told me a better way to get home because Woodruff Road was partially blocked due to construction. THANK YOU VICKI!!! YOU GAVE ME SUPERIOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!!

The store itself is fine. Typical Publix experience. The deli we have had issues with. Three times now weve had a call ahead sandwich order (45 minutes, so plenty of time to prep) and had the sandwich not be ready because the deli ran out of ingredients and didnt bother to call us before arrival. Both times they couldnt find the number despite them calling on multiple occasions prior to these incidents. It would all be fine if they had offered anything substantive for the error, but all you are met with is what else do you want?... and thats even from the manager.Stay away from the deli if you want great customer service experience.

PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD GET SELF CHECKOUT. Used to love this store, but there is simply no way to check out of it efficiently for a busy person. The deli was half an hour late with my online order today. On Saturday, I had ice cream, just one thing to buy. There is no way to check out without waiting for at least one and usually more than one person in front of you with a huge cart to check out. They dont enforce the 10 items or less rule, their cashiers are painfully slow and they almost never have more than 3 check-out lanes open, forcing people with full carts into the 10 items or less lane, where they form a maddening logjam.Meanwhile, they are paying employees to stand aound waiting to offer to roll your cart out for you. They are so slow when they roll the carts out that I dont have time to let them help me . They dont help, they just slow me down. Youd be better off using those paid positions to open another checkout lane or in the deli, where lines jam up because there arent enough employees. I left my drippy ice cream where I was standing and walked out in total frustration. Lately Ill go out of my way to avoid Publix. Its painful.

GET A NUMBER SYSTEM IN THE DELI!!! This store would get 5 stars if we didn’t have to wait an hour to get served!! And they say that the “online ordering makes it easy”, but only if you want to wait 3 hours for the first available pick up time!! Other Publix stores have a number system that allows you to shop while you wait with your number. SO much easier. Instead, 50 people crowd the counter arguing over who is next! Come on Publix, listen to your customers!!

Just revised my rating. I have no idea how I gave it a 2 star when they deserve 5.Glad I went back and looked at what reviews I have given.Just like all Publix stores, this one does a good job.They seem to be better than most groceries who have only two checkers and lines 10 people deep.

My store of choice

I wanted to write a review of this Publix location concerning my visit on Christmas Eve. It was a last minute decision to purchase a sub tray for a Christmas gathering. I showed up and didnt even expect to be able to place an order because they were absolutely swamped with work to do. After speaking to (I hope their names are right) Eric and Josh they quickly got my small tray together and customized everything for me. Of course, there is almost never anything bad to say about any Publix stores, but I am appreciative of how friendly and helpful these two employees were. Thank you for the wonderful service!

I use to love shopping here but the last two times I’ve went in to send money using western union a employee at the help desk “ Celeste” is her name is more than rude to just throw the recipe on the counter with a pen and say sign this. She didn’t even acknowledge me until another customer (white guy) said I was next in line instead of him. She is very rude and disrespectful in her manners. Better training for someone who’s supposed to be in customer service. Maybe she should move to stock shelf’s if she can’t be pleasant to all customers no matter the skin color.

Great supermarket. Clean store, nice staff. We shop this store primarily. Great bakery. We enjoy their breads and rolls. So much better than the normal breads sold. Great deli. All the departments are helpful. Good beer selection, just wish they had more German beers. Thanks.

True to customer service and care for community.

Publix is our favorite grocery store. Although some of their prices can be steep, like produce. We find of course if you hit the sales it takes some of the sting out. We love their subs, and two for one sales. The restrooms are always clean, stores appear well maintained, and the employees are friendly and helpful. Being retired, we shop all of the grocery stores for the weekly sales. I switched my prescription to Publix Pharmacy to take advantage of their prescription prices. At first I was a little concerned with the customer service. A couple of the employees there werent real friendly, but Ive noticed things have been changing for the better. Until Wegmans arrives down south, Publix will be our first choice.

I had a five star experience at Publix in Five Forks today and wanted to share! I left an item at the checkout and didnt realize it until I got home. (I didnt even pay for it. It was stuck at the top of the belt.) The item was mission critical. :) I called the store, and Todd (the manager) brought the item to my front door, along with flowers. Thats remarkable customer service! Kudos to the entire team at Five Forks! Thank you.

This is literally the worst store i’ve been at. i’ve asked for something simple in the seafood place for the workers to laugh at me the entire. THE ENTIRE TIME. imagine that? the store is self is great but the seafood market, would not recommend at all. any seafood needs, go to the one on woodruff road. this one sucks.

Today I ask an employee why arent you wearing gloves or facial mask, his response was, were not allowed. He said if we wear them, and dont take them off, that we are to clock out and go home. Because they are not allowed to wear them. Wow! Really Publix? Publix has lost my respect...

Public quality Publix cleanliness. Currently undergoing some renovations so the layout is going to change and right now its a little confusing with some of the construction.

Great folks. Reasonable prices. Decent corporate culture...better than most by far.

We now do the majority of our grocery shopping here. Lots of organic brands and all around good grocery. My only complaint would be that I wish they had more in the way of freshly prepped premade foods - but I dont buy that type of thing all that often, so not a big deal.

Been my favorite grocery store for years. Great service (really wonderful employees), selection and condition of store. If they dont have it, they have been able to get it for me. The deli and bakery do super work too. 😊 Also, would like to say thank you to all the sweet folks who let me out into traffic, when I am leaving at that exit without the light. Man our road is super busy at Five Forks.

Just spoke with someone at the deli named Amber, and she was extremely helpful and very nice. Was able to place my order for a party platter earlier than what the online order was giving me an estimated pickup time of. Always friendly service whenever I shop at this location.
