This store has went down in the last year or two! The store is always a mess, boxes everywhere. The floors are nasty. Staff don’t acknowledge customers. Employees talk and text on personal cell phone, having a personal conversation while ringing the customer up. At one point the cashier told me to rip my own receipt off of the machine while he texted on his phone and talked about resigning from the store. The best thing this store has going is the location. That’s it, that’s all.

I don’t leave bad reviews often. Girl with tattooed arms was on her phone the entire time me and my grandmother were trying to check out. Didn’t acknowledge us nor look at us one time. Then wouldn’t click the button on her end of the register to clear us to check out because she was on her phone not paying attention. After asking multiple times if we needed to do anything else. She got defensive and FINALLY acknowledged us and made us do the car swipe again. Horrible HORRIBLE service. She should be fired

When I arrived at Family Dollar store number 8068 at 430pm. There wasnt any vehicles so I didnt think nothing of it. But I see why there wasnt any vehicles in the parking lot because the doors were locked. The employee couldve left a note be back or Im not coming back sign on the door. Umm thats bad for business the owner of that store isnt making no money. As I was pulling out more other vehicles pulling up thinking the store is open which it suppose to be. So unprofessional and I will not come back.

Went in for Irish Sring bar soap & Kleenex. Clerk was helpful & and super sweet. Made our day!

Love the store manager there. She is always kind and is very helpful. She has hired great people to work there as well.

Stopped in doors were locked and closed early.

Went in to get a few supplies things I need… Got what I was looking for Went to to the register to pay With my credit card And selected the cash back option for $10 then saw the stores little home made sign that said no cash back...🤨😤... No problem if that is your policy thats fine then I guess you dont need my money to be spent in your store anymore either… Family Dollar and take their no cash back and stick that in their register instead and somewhere else to...screw family dollar!!!

Not as much to choose from as times before. Not practicing Social Distancing nor face mask.

Store is well stocked, they carry good supply of first aid items, food and snack items. Frozen goods. Animal foods and supplies. And usually a good selection of seasonal items. Staff very kind and helpful.

This store was a complete mess. Clearance items which were “marked down” were still average retail price. The cashier was unenthusiastic and seemed aggravated to being doing her job. If youre thinking about swinging by, do yourself a favor and keep driving. Simpsonville has plenty of other stores that are clean, decently priced and have friendly employees.

I had purchased a mop, I decided to returned the mop the next day Stephanie was the cashier she was so rude and unprofessional took the return then she took care of the next customer discuss with an actitud that I have sign the receipt from the return She discuss with the customer like I was not even standing there, she make me feel so bad.I explain to Stephanie how unprofessional and rude was to discuss personal information about another customer and that I won’t recommend nobody to come to this store to get treated like that.I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND this store

I have never felt so disrespected in my life! A customer told the employees to watch my car because I looked suspicious and to call the police. I LITERALLY had just pulled up, texted a friend back and then got out of my car to be approached by 3 employees with one being the manager who were treating me like I was a criminal trying to rob the place, and the employee behind the register, started yelling I aint scared, I got my blade. I was appalled at how I was treated, I just wanted to buy my mouthwash and deodorant and get out of there as quick as possible, but I will not be going back to this location ever again!

Staff is normally friendly and helpful but sometimes cashier has been just plain rude and unfriendly. Prices are mixed some low, some competitive and some too high! To get ice a lot of times you have to wait a few minutes as its locked outside and staff has to be called to get it. Service has been fast otberwise. I gave 4 stars because overtime I have gotten to know staff better and even the rude one warms up a bit. So smile and hope its a good day! 😆😠😕

Cashier wasnt very friendly and they also had a few summer items on discount..in which the sunscreen was located..but when I take the sunscreen up to checkoit..cashier tells me oh no!, thats only for sunglasses and shorts..I didnt think that was pretty fair considering the sign mentioned nothing about that.
