Always come for one thing and end up buying 15. Love this garden center. Easy to navigate.
Solid location and selection. As a woodworker and gardener it fulfills a majority of my needs. Staff are helpful when asked and had good experiences. But at times you feel like youre wandering and staff are inattentive or hard to track down. Check out lines can get long/slow with only one or two of many running.
My husband and I found the garden related products that that we needed, along with some accessories from the paint department. We were shocked to be told that he no longer gets the veteran discount that had been offered to my husband this year. According to the representative, the rules had been changed to exclude him, except for certain holidays. Apparently a man who volunteered to join the US Army, finished one tour in Germany representing the U.S. on the NATO marksmanship team, and then re-upped to go to Vietnam for a second tour, where he put his life on the line, is no longer qualified to get a military discount. I am fully aware that it is Home Depots right to set their parameters for the discount. I just dont see why they offered it to him over the last year, and then removed their offer. I am proud of what my husband did in the military. I am disappointed in Home Depot to say the least. A little note was that the Simpsonville store told him he needed a Military designation on his drivers license,so he had recently taken the time to get that changed. He proudly pulled that license out today. Home Depot could have done better than this. It is an insult to be treated this way.
Very good help is excellent.
Prices are a little high for common sold plants . $15.00 appears to be going rate for any plant.
