We only asked for them to install a motor that we purchased separately. They installed it quickly and professionally. Paul and Jesse were our installers; very nice people.

Paul came out friday about a half hour after my phone call to the company. Paul was very assertive and immediately found the root cause and also what no one else has ever done which he did was tell me what secondary problems I might have in the future if some things were not repaired that day. I did not have the funds unfortunately but i am glad he told me because i think ill just save up for a new door this ones too old and there is no reason to invest into it. Anyways 7 stars!!!! Pleasent experience with Elite.

They came out the same day I called, which is a good thing. My car was inside my garage and I had no way to leave the house. The tech, Paul, was very knowledgeable and friendly. I had a broken torsion spring on a single bay garage door. I called Elite Garage Door of Simpsonville SC. They had availability the next day. Paul was very professional and showed up when promised. He was able to complete the replacement of both springs in about 30 minutes. I was surprised at the cost. When I first called I was told that the service call would be $49 plus parts. When Paul arrived he said that it would cost $500 for parts and labor and that he would waive the service call fee.

Elite answers the phone! Even late in the afternoon on a Saturday. Cosmin, the service technician and also the sales manager, called 30 minutes prior to arrival as promised, arrive on time early in the morning, and set work. The work was done expertly and expeditiously, with the broken garage door springs replaced and adjusted in about an hour. Cosmin obviously has extensive experience with garage door repair and knows what he’s doing. He also did a quick assessment of the garage door and opening system, determining that it was in pretty good shape overall. Although a job like this might seem to cost more than buying and installing springs on your own, it’s clear to me that garage door springs, the torsion kind, are best installed by a qualified repair person who knows how to safely install and adjust them. The garage door is somewhat smoother and quieter than it was with the old springs. In my opinion, it was worthwhile to have the job done properly by qualified personnel. In today’s world, it is less common than it should be to get the kind of service rendered by Elite Overhead Garage Doors. I wish more companies were like them.

The technician, Cosmin, was able to quickly identify issues in two of my garage doors and was able to repair very quickly. While repairing he also pointed out potential future issues, from improper installation by builder, I might have and how to alleviate and identify when to request service.

My garage door broke when I least expected it. One day, I was clicking the remote and it wouldnt open at all. Upon closer inspection, I noticed that the gear chain snapped and was dangling from my ceiling. I saw an ad for Elite Overhead Garage Doors in the Palmetto Trend and they offered several coupons. I called the company and the father / son team of Cosmin and Manasseh visited me that day. They carefully reviewed my options and told me how much it would cost. With the coupons, I received $200 off installation and the service fee was waived. They came out a few days later to install the garage door and remote system. They were very precise with the installation. Everything was carefully installed, from the track system on the ceiling to the new garage doors, from to the seal and seams around the garage door, and the remote control that opens and closes the doors. I was amazed that they devoted five hours to installation and made sure everything was working perfectly. It gives me peace of mind to have a garage door system that works properly and will last. We also gained valuable knowledge about the crack in our door and why a panel was buckling. We will need to get a new garage door soon, and were pleased that the money we spent today on the new spring can be applied to a new door if we purchase within a reasonable time frame. Cosmin and Menasseh arrived at the time we had set and were in and out in less than 45 minutes to replace a broken spring and tune up everything else. Our door sounded awful before and is super quiet now. I keep opening and closing it just to listen to the difference! Also... they replaced the spring and did a tune up $50 cheaper than the next closest bid (which was only for spring replacement and no tune up). I love that he did not try to sell me on something I didnt need or want. He was upfront and honest. Today they put in the door. It is wonderful. I can already feel the temperature difference in the garage. It looks great and it is quite too. I dont know how I lived with the old door for so long, LOL.I am very happy with my purchase and the experience with the dynamic father and son duo. Unbelievable as we were trying to purchase two new garage doors. We used their design tool on their Website to provide them the direction of the doors we wanted. We wanted doors to match our front door in a medium oak stain finish. First talked with one gentleman (Brian or ??) on the phone and said we would like to see a sample of the wood stain. Had to call back to ask someone again about seeing a sample. Was told by Josh it would need to be ordered and would take 2 weeks. So we waited and I called again to see when the sample would be here. Another point is these guys NEVER offered to come out and see the job! I was told they would be coming out on Tuesday, today 6/19 and would have the sample. BTW an appointment was not made but I was told when they would arrive. The two guys -- Austin and another young man arrived and did not know about needing to bring a sample. He called Josh and we were told they were not interested in our job. UNBELIEVABLE these guys are NOT interested in a $5,800 job. Well I am sure other garage door suppliers are. Hope Elite does well with this attitude in customer service!
