The various departments knew their job, and so much art was delayed in the last year prices are surprisingly good. If you take the time to listen to their advice, they can help you find exactly what you need. I love the place and go there for art when I need something special. Like a poster framed, or multi-shade sketching pencils.

Helpful Staff. Was looking for a Zipper for my hoodie and all they have is very short Zips. Walmart has a huge variety. Totally recommend Michaels

Store is very clean and organized. when the floor agent approached me, she said shed noticed Id been in the store for a little while and I appeared to still be searching. Michaels doesnt carry the item I needed and she offered 2 outside sources she was familiar with. Attentive, polite and knowledgeable. Wish Id had caught your name so I could put it here. Great customer service.

This smaller than Holly Lobby but is really good Also! Have beautiful Wreaths decorations wood stuff and Christmas decoration to. But also have lots of stuff like yarn painting stuff, etc I go there often.

Has a good yarn selection

As a portrait photography, Michaels is a must. And this location is no exception. The employees at this particular location were professional with excellent customer service.

I typically prefer Hobby Lobby as my go-to craft store but since Ive been to Michaels, its a much better experience for me. The employees seem really nice and helpful. (I also like Michaels app over Hobby Lobbys app.)

I love Michaels! They have great deals and everyone there is super helpful and the variety of products gives you so many more options. Another trouble for my wallet store in my case LOL

I just wasnt impressed. They have inventory, but not as good as it used to be. The whole spirit of fear is there. I used to feel happy going in there.

With 3 daughters, it the perfect place to go to inspire their hobbies.

I do love Michaels the Sioux City location deserves 4.8 stars depending on the clerk who checks you out. There are some exceptional ones & there are some who must not care about their job & customers. I was there 1.5 wks ago & had the crabbiest clerk (aged 55 - 65). Then again had a younger aged mid 20s-30s that was so pleasant & had exceptional people skills. I spend way too much here with good intentions to actually craft, sew, scrapbook, bake, decorate like a pro. Kudos to this stores ordering online & picking up in store, its always ready in an hour as long as I order by 5. The rating of 4 is because Corporate deserves a 2 at best. Michaels Corporate needs to revamp their website to search easier as so many things you click on are not available in my store location nor online. It takes forever to search this way, people do not have the time and I imagine they are losing a lot of sales. Its great its available at some store maybe 500 miles away but it wont let you search by a specific store combined with online. Or it says see store for supply. Thats frustrating because I want to be able to sometimes purchase online only & have someone pick up for me when they are in the area since my store is 1.5 hrs away, I can get in as often as I would like. I waste a ton of time clicking on things to buy & only finding out its not available close nor online. The customer service at the Corporate level is awful. Had 52 items in my cart once & it wouldnt let me ck out, corporate couldnt help me at all. So they lost that order, I decided to open a new account & only ordered 9 items of the 52. I wasnt going to search for hours trying to recall all 52 items. Thats a big loss for them but saved me a ton. 😉

Who doesn’t love Michaels? They have just about everything you could need for crafts, decorating, organizing, and then some! The staff are always super friendly and helpful, and they almost always have great deals and discounts. If they carried fabric It would be the holy grail!

This place is pretty expensive. I had looked on the website of Michaels closest to me and a pack of color pencils was about 10 dollars. But it is the best place if you are drawing and painting, just beware the highest quality drawing materials is very expensive. Even saw a pack of coloring pencils for 60$ bucks. Plus tax maybe

Great location, always love Michaels. I brought in a couple of watercolors to look for frames to frame the pieces myself, and I needed my edges trimmed. Asked to just trim the edges and although we offered to pay, the woman in framing did that at no cost. Was much appreciated. Kind helpful staff.

Nicely organized and a great variety of items! My only complaint is that it is a little on the pricey side! A simple dry-erase calendar board should not be priced at $80!

I really enjoy coming here. The place is always clean and free of garbage on the floor. The cashiers are super friendly and helpful. They always know where things are located and will show you where not just tell you where. Ive never had a bad experience yet.

I have a love hate relationship with this store. I always find more than what I came for. And spend more than I planned on, but prices are fair for a craft store. I mainly go for florals and they dont disappoint!

Michaels is a great source for crafts, art supplies, home decor, DIY projects for both adult and kids. If you make jewelry, they have a nice selection of Toho beads, Hanks, strung beads etc. Plenty of fun stuff to work on. When they have sales, you can get some great deals, just know your prices. Staff is friendly and helpful. They carry more high end, name brand items then Hobby Lobby does. Its like Christmas year round.

Tonight my mother and I drove an hour and a half for shadow boxes. My grandfather (mothers father) passed away Oct. 29, 2018. I decided to use his shirts in the shadow boxes as christmas gifts for our family. Mackenzie helped us first and found Kelsey to also help! Fabulous job! You guys helped us so much more than you know. Your kindness was above and beyond. We were able to get all 16 shadow boxes with their help! Thank you!!!
