This place is nice and clean. Their M&M cookie sandwich is pretty tasty!

When ever I go to the Sioux city location round 7pm they never have pretzel bites when they close at 9PM. I ask if they can make more, they always tell me that they dont have any more to make. I have gone almost every day after work for the last two weeks and its always the same and they always have an attitude about it because Im taking them away from either talking to each other or from flirting with random guys.

Ive been stopping here for cookies at this cookie bakery for years. I also come here to order cookie cakes for special occasions including birthdays, Valentines Day, and etc. The sodas are very refreshing and tasty. They have excellent service. I always recommend this place for when youre hungry for desserts.

First of all, Great American cookies lives up to their name. Grabbing a double doozy from this place has always been a special treat on trips to the mall. But the reason Im reviewing this is because I called to order a cookie cake last week for my husbands birthday. When I called, they were extremely helpful in deciding what size cake to order based on how many people we were going to have. Not only that, but when I picked it up, I was super impressed at how cute it turned out. But the thing that surprised me the most was that they included a card to wish my husband a happy birthday! So simple but such a nice thing to do.

The people working at this store are very talented! And, being as this is the only shop of its kind In Sioux City, the employees get lots of practice! I find It so nice that you can just call the shop, and have one of the workers give you their cell #, then you can just text a image of your cake design ideas to them, and see If its doable! A few years ago, for my 13th birthday, I created my ideas for cake design on a computer program, and the the ladies working there really made it come to life! I would totally recommend this place! (Especially If you dont really like cake, lol, and want something a bit different!)

I go the great American cookie factory at the southern hill mall frequently. I usually call ahead so they could make a large batch of prezel bits fresh and they do. This time I called, and the lady that answered was telling me the oven was off and they are fresh. I have a great american cookie gift card I had to use up. So I walked down and I said I called about the large pretzel bites. The younger girl walked up to me and was not smiling and made the 2 cheeses with the leftover prezel bits. I knew I had 7 dollars and some cents on my gift card. So I gave her my gift card, she swiped it and said it doesnt work, then she tried again and said how much? It said it has 7 dollars and some cents, So she blurted out Ill use six dollars, I said ok and put the 1 dollar and cents on my debit card. She swiped my debit card. So I left, ad I was leaving, I glanced down at receipt and she charged the WHOLE ORDER ON MY DEBT CARD! ! I went back and told the clerk a that why did you put the whole order to on my debit card and she said you gave it to me?!?!, Well HELLO, The dollar and cents should of went on it????? Then the she told the manager and lied to her!! I said can you redo it ? Manager said NOPE, well I do unfortunately have to do back there to use my gift card, but they lost a good customer! And when I did taste the pretzel bites they were hard and stale!!!

Every time I called to order a cake they were always so nice! Love them!
