Not the customer myself, but had a close friend order an AR15 kit and she bought the lower here. The staff was very friendly compared to other local gun stores, and was super helpful with questions about accessories and options as a new gun owner. If you want a welcoming place to buy your first gun, this is the place.

Weird hours. Can never get ahold of anyone on the phone. Apparently they can’t keep up with the demand. UPDATE: Owner can’t take real criticism and follows up with angry replies. LOL...If you receive that much calls a day and customers in the store take priority, than you cannot keep up with the demand. So what was initially stated would be FACT. Hire more staff maybe? Either way you won’t be earning my business.

The staff at Blue Collar Tactical is great to deal with. They’re personable, helpful, knowledgeable, and fun. This store is a Glock Blue Label store which is great and convenient. The store is always clean and organized unlike some other gun shops in town. I always recommend Blue Collar to anyone who asks because of everything mentioned. Also, they serve the best waffles in town 😉

Theres a reason they dont have 1-star reviews. I wish I got my first gun here, the place I did get my first gun acted all high and mighty but BCT was actually helpful. Didnt get my first gun here but I did get my second, third and fourth here, as well as referred people here to get their first gun.

Love buying guns and suppressors here. Dont believe I have bought anywhere else in last few years even before the storefront. May be a little more difficult with moving into Iowa but will still try Blue Collar first for all my familys purchases and have referred numerous buyers their way.

I look at a lot of pricing at a lot of places all over the Internet and it is extremely extremely difficult to find someone who can come close to this price on anything that they carry the only way you’re gonna find a better price is if you find someone who is hard up on money at a gun show in a booth and those are very few and far between especially nowadays

Great Owner/Operator store. If he doesnt have what you want on hand. He can get it quick for you at a good price. Having a trusted, knowledgeable, military trained, local dealer is very important to me. Glad to have Blue Collar as my go to guy. Ive purchased numerous handguns through BCT and had numerous friends also do the same. Hes willing to share knowledge and not judge for lack there of. :-)

Even with limited hours of operation (usually open only after 6pm) this is a great gun store to work with. Friendly knowledgeable staff is willing to answer any questions you have. If they don’t have something you want in stock, just call and they will give you a quote. If you end up purchasing a gun off the internet and having it shipped here, they only charge you $10 for the transfer paperwork. Best bargain in town. I just wanted to add that they have raised the transfer fee to $15 but it is free to servicemen.
