Rich at geek squad has a real attitude and customer service problem. Blamed me for being 13 minutes late to my appointment and rudely said they couldn’t help me, when the appointment says 4:40-5:00 and at 4:53 I had been standing in his line for 10 minutes.However the rest of their geek squad team seems fantastic - the manager Eric was sympathetic and Joe and Jeremy took great care of my screen replacement.I’d go back but ask for anyone but Rich to help.

I want to love this store. I am a super tech nerd. But I just cant. Everything I want is just not in stock. They dont know when it will be. I know you can ship it, but if I wanted to order it online I would just Amazon it and get it in 2 days.I want to interact with it. Make sure its what I want.I want to love you best buy, but it seems Im the only one in the relationship that feels this way.

Went to pickup a online pickup in store order. Went to the same area where we have gone before to pick up next to the front register. Had to give ID and order number or phone number. He told us he couldnt help us because it was a phone and we had to go over there then started to help the next person. We went to the phone area told him we ordered online he asked for the name on the order. No checking ID we didnt require any verification. Even though you have to know the name he should have verified by an ID at least.

We usually come here when we need to do something with our phone lines because they offer good deals on their phones and work with most of the big networks. The cell phone area can get really busy and we have had to wait many times, but we learned the best times to go when they arent too busy. When walking around staff always asks if we need help and are willing to help, but they do not hover over you. We have bought appliances, computers, etc from here and have been happy with all our purchases. I actually had an issue with a cell phone being delivered to the wrong address and then shipped back to the state it came from and Best Buy was quick to fix the problem and even gave us a gift card for all the hassle. The staff in each department is very knowledgeable in their products and the area they are working in and are able to answer the questions we have had. Currently, they require masks inside the store. They are also currently hiring for seasonal work.

There arent very many computers in stock. Its not their fault, but at least remove the floor models so time isnt wasted asking what is in stock and what isnt. The layout of the store is nice and customer service was good.

Havent been in Best Buy in years but after breaking the Ma-in-laws computer I had to run in and get a new wifi stick. The employees are very knowledgeable and I enjoyed my visit to the store as they made my very dumb venture a learning experience for me. 😀

I noticed the store had a large number of open box TVs for sale. When I inquired about one of them the salesperson pointed at the display model and said its this one right here, its missing the stand and the remote, thats why its $50 off. I let him know that there is a huge difference between an open box and a display model, and suggested clarifying what theyre selling. Also inquired about a TV stand that was marked down for clearance. I was told that they havent had that stand for at least 2 months. I suggested removing the sign as to not cause confusion with customers. The comment I got was Thats above my pay grade. Do they wonder why theyre losing business to online shoppers? 🙄

Stopped in to get a router/modem to replace the issued one from Midco. I asked their Geek Squad expert which model router/modem is authorized to work with Midco. When I got home, they gave me only a WiFi router without the modem portion. Whats the point of asking for assistance if they have no idea what they are talking about? I would recommend going into the store, and browsing the selection and then go make your purchase at Walmart, Target or Amazon. Youll save money and not have to deal with unknowledgeable customer service.

I ordered a TV from this Best Buy location on the 27 for in store pick-up. Picking up the TV at the store went smoothly and the gentleman that helped me was helpful and polite, so that experience was great. When I took the TV home and began installing it, I realized the box did not have a power cord anywhere. It was already close to 6pm so due to the new store hours I was not able to head back to the store to resolve the issue. When I went back to the store (28), and explained my issue to the customer service worker, he began politely asking if I had looked everywhere for the cord, almost making it seem like I had not done the basic action of looking in the area that I was setting up the TV. He then said that I would need to come back to the store with the TV and they could exchange it which would have been fine but I bought the last one the day prior. He checked the inventory, and realized that I was correct and then said that the next shipment wouldnt be in till the 5th. I explained to him that I didnt want to wait extra days for something that was completely out of my control and he explained that I could just buy a cord. Of course I didnt want to buy a new cord, even despite the low price, because there was supposed to be one in the TV box. I shouldnt have had to pay for a power cord that was originally included in the price of the TV because of manufacture/packing error. Even after purchasing the discounted cord, he made a remark that if I ended up finding the cord that I could return the one I had just bought. Throughout my whole experience, the man helping us was polite and cordial but was not helpful or understanding in anyway and in some ways made it seem like I was making up the issue. I was very surprised and upset about the lack of understanding and will not be shopping at this Best Buy location again.

Best Buy is typically, in my opinion, the best place to go for electronics and appliances. They have fair prices, great selection, and typically knowledgeable employees. Unfortunately, the last experience I had there regarding the purchase of a smart watch was not a pleasant. It caused a huge amount of time and effort to correct the issue caused by an employee with lack of product knowledge. I will still visit this store for future needs and purchases, but will research the product myself instead of relying on an employees input.

Very poor customer service in the appliance department. If you ever want to BEGIN thinking of purchasing appliances, feel free to reach out to me personally about our experience. Gentleman came out to measure and sat in our home for close to two hours. Measurement was incorrect. Trying to reach the store is IMPOSSIBLE. Dishwasher was installed incorrectly and now pops and the plate below is bending less than a week in - they will be fixing it. The whole experience is terrible for $7k worth of appliances. Nobody in appliances will ever return your call once you have completed the purchase and to get a store manager (for accountability) is a no deal. Steer clear if you want a smooth transition to new appliances and go to Karls. This has been a nightmare with call centers, prompts, and little accountability.

We had to purchase a cell phone online as it was not in stock at the store. This was not a problem at all since they said once it arrives they will get it activated and setup for us. Picked up the phone this evening and the employee refused to setup the phone because they closed at 7pm. They have a sign posted in many spots that states they will not do activations after 6:30pm. We were talking to him prior to it even being 6:25pm when he refused to help us get this done tonight. If it wasnt for the good deal on the phone, Id be giving them 1 star.

Best Buy has been a go-to for me, going way back. Ive been to a number of them over the years, and more often than not, my experiences have been generally good.I do a lot of shopping on Amazon, but with electronics, sometimes you just need to go in and see it in person.My past experience was pretty rough. I went in to purchase an auto start for my wifes vehicle. I was pleased to find one of the best on the market for $200.00 off of the list price. My wife went to go flag one of the floor employees down--he told her that he would be with us in a minute. Well, 20 minutes went by, and we came to realize he had forgotten about us after seeing him attending to others that had arrived to the store long after my wife caught his attention. So, I went around a few times and tried finding someone else. Didnt seem like anybody was available. So we wait some more. Finally, I went to the back of the store to find someone. An employee in appliances radioed for someone to meet us in the auto electronics department. So, we go back up. After another 20 minutes of waiting, I threw in the towel. As I was leaving, I told the door attendant that they could keep my business if he could find someone. Thankfully, this finally put up their red flag! So, I go back in, and my wife goes back to the car and waits. At last! Someone comes and meets me. He goes over the price, and assures me multiple times that the installation was included in the purchase price. As a matter of fact, he told that to the woman waiting behind me as well when I stepped aside to think it over. I ended up buying the auto start that day. But wait! It gets better.Installation day comes around. I bring the car in to their garage--the installer was super nice. So he brings up the invoice. Turns out I havent paid the installation fee yet! Wait, what? No, the installation was supposed to be included, right? Wrong! Apparently not only were we provided the wrong info, but their website failed to bill me for the installation at checkout! Again, the installer was very cordial and professional, reassuring me I was covered. Turns out, this has happened once or twice before. (Sarcasm, he said it happens a lot.)So, this Best Buy is eh. Staff needs work, and they seriously need to go back to roots and work on their organization skills. Will I go back? Not as often as I used to. Dont get me wrong, its an alternative. Purchased a laptop and ended up having issues with each laptop in which I ended up going through 3 laptops. Unfortunately had to go to he store every time as I was greeted by someone at the Geek squad that showed a very bad attitude with me not as being verbally disrespectful but in the essence of not wanting to help me with my computer issues. As purchasing a $3,000gaming laptop and needing a bios update as EZ flash and the laptop was not downloading it, as I went into best buy for help and as greeted with one of the leed CSR saying he wont help me because he has seen me to many times and that this Geek squad place was not a charity found and that I would need to pay $130 for more help as I have asked for help more than 3 times. Every issue I came across this individual was by all means clue less of how to fix the issues as I was needing to return everytime. John on the other hand was able to explain and help me update my laptop to have it full functional as was hoping to be opening box.Summary of this long painful transaction was by all means unpleasant, no longer would want to buy something with best buy or would recommend someone to buy something here. The willingness to look away upon needing help me had me incomplete shock!Seems to be an action they encourage at this location.

I had a great experience at Best Buy. I made an appointment to speak with someone about what kind of laptop would be best for my dad. After walking in I had multiple people check to make sure I was helped. They brought a young man up to talk with me n show me the computers. He asked a lot of questions and was very knowledgeable. He also made sure to cover everything, including things I hadnt even thought of. I ended up purchasing 2 laptops and theyre both perfect for their person. Mine was an open box model and the power cord was accidentally left out of the box. After calling, they said theyd get a new one, but I live out of town, so that means an extra trip in. Well see how this is handled as my appointment is tomorrow, so this may change. But overall I had a wonderful experience.

Been there a few times lately and getting someone to speak to you in almost impossible. I stood and watched two employees chat it up while I was waiting to for help about 15 feet from them. They both looked at me but ignored me for over 15 minutes, it became a game to me after 2 minutes. I eventually had someone else come over to help. Later when the product I bought (Oculus Quest 2) didn’t work, I’ve waiting on hold to speak to someone for over 27 minutes. I’m still on hold as I type this. What a joke.

Well if the store would honor their “price match guarantee” they would have a 5 star rating from me, but since 5 out of 5 times I wanted a price match for Amazon, Newegg, Micro Center, and B&H Photo... even though I called they’re 800 number and corporate said that they will price match when I go to the store, but it got shut down by the store “manager” who looked like he was barely old enough to vote, I will only buy from Best Buy when they have what I want on sale and it’s the best price I can find....

Due to the blizzard we had today I was not able to go down and finish a return for a TV that was damaged during shipping from FedEx that I had due and I spoke with the manager Ray there and he was the most unhelpful and unpleasant person I have spoke with in a long time. I am in the hospitality industry I meet with 30-50 people everyday mostly new faces. I own hotels and I have bought 31 TVs from them this year and this is the kind of service I receive. I will be returning every single TV that is still boxed up and will be taking my business elsewhere because of managers like Ray.

Honestly, Im so done with this store! When I was purchasing a new TV back in 2019, I specifically was looking to buy one that would be future proof for the next gen consoles. The person who sold me the TV said that all of the new consoles that were going to be coming out would be using HDMI 2.1 to achieve 4K at 120 FPS. This is all correct. What WASNT correct was the TV that he sold me, telling me it HAD HDMI2.1 and would support all of the new consoles to their fullest potential. After all was said and done, I spent over $2000 on a TV that DOESNT do the exact thing that I was looking for in a TV, and of course Im finding this out in 2021 after plugging my new XBOX Series X in. Ive had so many issues with this store in the past, and this is definitely my breaking point! If your staff isnt 100% knowledgeable of what theyre selling, then they shouldnt be selling them. Im going to be shopping on amazon and other retailers from now on.

You gotta love Best Buy for their sales and maintaining in stock merchandise so you can try before you buy. I cant give them five stars, and considered three, because other than their loss leader sale items, many accessories are terribly overpriced. I needed a long HDMI cable, 25 foot store brand priced at $79.95, and 50 foot cable priced at $199.95! These arent made of gold. I will buy these accessories elsewhere.

I have purchased many things from this store over the years. After the most recent transaction...maybe never again. We ordered 4 kitchen appliances in store. The dishwasher was determined to be unavailable, but a manager offered to upgrade us at no charge. 2 weeks past. Delivery was supposed to be next week. My wife called to verify. A worker told her 3 of the 4 ordered were cancelled because they were no longer available. So they were going to deliver 1 without the other matching 3? And not tell us anything? Im baffled with this type of service.

I am in a wheelchair, so after I bought a tablet cover on line, I went to the chat room to make sure I would fit my tablet. After an hour with three transfers, I was told yes, it would. It didnt. I was told I would get a 15% discount for my inconvenience. I didnt. I picked it up curbside, and when I called to ask if I could return the cover the same way, I was told I had to sit in front of the door until security came out to tell me to move, then tell them what I wanted. So, I did. It was just a strange experience.
