I just went to Mekong Asian Market today and I’m in love... They have such a friendly staff and helped me get all the things I needed. I love how the store is clean and a lot more organized than the other Asian stores I’ve been to. I highly recommend this place for anyone who is into Asian food like me!

Lots of stuff in here. Maybe time for some of you to step out of your comfort zone and try something different. Kimchee? Durian? Fish sauce? Aisles are a bit narrow, but thats how they get all these items under 1 roof. Ive found the staff to be very friendly.

Great selection of frozen fish, was able to get mackerel, pompano, frog legs, and had friendly staff.

You can buy typical asain speices, vegetables, fruits, different kind of fishes especially hilsha fish. They are friendly and always helpful.

It was awesome, great customer care, extremely helpful and courteous. They had everything we were craving & looking for. The family that runs this place were very warm & friendly. We are definitely coming back here every time were in town. Highly recommended 👌 👍

It is pretty cramped in there. There simply isnt room for all of the product they have in the space they can use. Too bad they cant just build a new one triple the size. The staff are friendly and helpful. The building however needs to be leveled and made MUCH larger.

Great selection of Asian foods! Friendly owners very helpful. Now I just need to learn more about Asian cuisine and dishes to experiment with.

We live 2 hours away from Sioux Falls and almost always stop in here every time were in town. The guy at the counter is a great help, and is always willing to help me find all the ingredients that we need, that I have no idea how to pronounce. They have spices, seasonings, candy, fresh and frozen items, so much stuff! Some day we might try other markets, but this one has always had exactly what we need.

Finally, I found natto in SD! The owner knew Im Japanese. lol. Well, I found everything I need to servive for a month and very important thing.... this place is clean and the owner is very friendly❤

Stopped in today to grab some small odds and ends like Ramen, Sauces and Seasonings. The store was very well kept and the atmosphere was very welcoming. Prices were incredibly reasonable and the store was completely stocked. They have a wide range of dry goods, produce and frozen seafood and proteins! If you’re ever in the area or need to stock up on the basics, this is the place to stop at. 10/10.

Should you need fresh vegetables in reasonable price then this place is an excellent choice. They have fresh vegetables every Tuesdays. This place is little bit small and things are not so organized. You may not be able to find same item at same place when you visit for next time. Need some cleaning and organization. Always a great choice for fresh vegetables and fishes.

This is a nice clean store with good selections. The owner is there every day and he is very friendly. Prices are very competitive also. On Tuesdays the store gets fresh seafood and get Very busy. Check it out!

Super fresh produce, great variety, very helpful proprietor! They had everything I needed to make a fresh green curry. The proprietor even explained the difference between Thai shrimp paste and Chinese shrimp paste. The bean sprouts were crisp, fresh, and dry - probably two weeks fresher than Hy-Vees. Love being able to visit local stores too.

With Thanh Mai literally across the street, I dont know why anyone would go here. Less selection, more expensive.

This place is fantastic. The guy that runs the place (I assume) is always friendly. It’s fun to research a foreign recipe and go here to find the ingredients, and the prices are all fairly reasonable and often cheaper than if you’d try to order on Amazon or elsewhere.But most of all I love their snacks. Those garlic Nagaraya nuts are literally my favorite snack food ever. Boy Bawang is not only fun to say, but they’ve perfected the “Corn Nuts” recipe. Spicy peas. Jelly cups. Wasabi Kit Kats (okay, maybe not those).One of my favorite places in Sioux Falls. 😁

If you need Asian food, here is where you go. They know their stuff and will walk you to where you want to go if you are not content with browsing. The awesome thing here is that they have a great selection of frozen and fresh items. Not just your normal shelf stable canned and boxed goods!Priced well, you wont find anything that does not blow grocers like Hy-Vee out of the water in pricing and quality.

The owner was extremely friendly and took the time to educate me on some of the vegetables I was unfamiliar with. I cant wait to make miso soup later this week. Ill certainly be returning.

First time going here. Looked up places to find Natto. Found it there and purchased other items. The staff was friendly and helped me find some if it quickly. Ill definitely go back to get more items.

Great place to find a lot of Asian foods you cant get elsewhere. From staples that you could use day to day to fun snacks and sweet treats. The owners are friendly and seem to enjoy what they do.

Owners are willing to stop and take the time to help you find what you needed. Store is clean & when they dont have the items you need. They will look into ordering that product.

They had everything I was looking for, Aloha shoyu, Sesame oil and oyster sauce. I also picked up some lumpia (spring rolls) wraps. They also have fresh vegetables. The service is good and friendly.
