Love this place, especially in the fall! Some of my favorite treats in town are their molasses cookie and butterscotch latte!
The Charlie Brown latte is amazing, best pumpkin latte Ive had!! Love the cute indoor seating area too.
Very cute place with lots of warm deco and spacious area to sit. Drinks are priced above average in my opinion and taste is alright. Its still a great place to sit down to meet friends or just a place to sit down for a meeting! Located in the center of downtown. Very conveniently connected to other places and bus stops!
Oh the scone is so good. Especially the peanut butter one which is not too sweat. Coffee is top notch. It’s a short walk from our hotel (Hilton) and advice you to skip their breakfast and Starbucks. Just come here to Coffea. What an interesting name!!The hour is normal from 7am to 8 pm ish. Inside has plenty of space as well as this not so quiet outdoor seating. There is not shade btw so pack your sunglasses. I see about 10 seats and a few benches. The scone is finished. It’s delicious but I wish I warmed it up a bit. Coffee is of high standard and satisfactory to my picky wife. I just have hotel coffee as it’s free or paid for already (yes I am frugal).Inside has some nice artworks and well decorated. You can probably work here but do you really want to work inside a cafe nowadays?
If you’re into coffee, and are trying to decide where to go in the area, please stop looking: this is the place.I visited this wonderful cafe in July of 2020. It has been almost a year and I cannot stop thinking about the double shot of espresso I had here. The texture was perfect, the flavor notes were lovely and fruity. It was a perfectly pulled shot. I have not had comparable espresso since.I live in Chicago and have tried darn nearly every cafe I can find. While there certainly are some wonderful spots with comparable quality beans near me, there simply is no one with the attention and craft for their espresso as this cafe. I have no idea when or if I will return to Sioux Falls. But my first stop will be Coffea Roasterie.
Great local coffee, lots of dairy free options. Parking Lot fills up fast during busy hours but otherwise super easy to get to and work at.
First time, as Im new to town, and this coffee shop was a perfect spot to start the day!
I was driving, and so it was hard to find because the sign is not as noticeable or stands out as much. Once finding parking and entering, I was really surprised by how spacious and inviting the store seemed. There was plenty of space and enough seating.I ordered a double espresso, and the drink came out at a reasonable time. The barista who made it was really nice, and I really appreciated the fact that she let me know that I had an option to choose between which beans to use for my espresso. I dont know if this is standard as well or not, but the espresso also came with a small shot of sparkling water (which I enjoyed!)Overall, I had a great experience. The only downside of this location is that there doesnt seem to be any A/C or central air (ceiling fans). So if it gets hot outside, not the ideal place to be in.
The chai was amazing and the ambiance of the location is very pleasing. I can here to study and the environment was perfect for it. Very calming, and the customer service is great😄
Fast friendly service. Nice location in downtown Sioux Falls. Ginger root tea was great.
Whenever I go to Sioux falls, I stop by here. It is located in the main road. I liked to sit at the bar or table outside. It has modern but cozy atmosphere. Staffs were so welcoming and friendly too. I wish they had more offerings or menu, but I never had hazelnut latte served with the real hazelnut. It was impressive. I also enjoyed their coffee cake. It was moist, fluffy and delicious. Perfect with sliced almonds on it!
Best coffee and service in town. Whether youre on the go or looking for a place to catch up on work, this is a great, quiet corner on Phillips. If youre lucky enough to stop in, look at their seasonal menu. If its there I highly recommend the Lumberjack drink. Theres sugar in it, so as long as thats your favorite flavor, youre going to be just fine. Enjoy your stay.
Best coffee in SD. Consistent product and friendly service. Always.
I love the shop atmosphere and all they stand for but the coffee is so bad- sorry. Hi guys, I’ll update my review since they gave such a respectful reply. Although, I’m still not a hug fan of the coffee, I did recently try one if their scones from the bakery and it was very good. The staff was also very helpful and friendly. I’m more of a fan of dark roasts so maybe thats why I don’t not super keen on this. It seems to be a greener roast. I’ll give it another shot and see if I don’t like it more with different types of flavoring.
I enjoy this place so much. Great downtown location, urban, super friendly and cool employees. A lot of local art.
Lovely tasting cold brew and latte. the pothos on the back shelf either needs a repotting or more frequent watering.
Wonderful little coffee shop in Sioux Falls. I had a 12 oz French Pressed coffee on a few occasions here. I always ask the barista to recommend a blend, and they are usually spot on. The only time they steered me wrong was when I was not specific about what I was looking for (smooth medium roast, very little acidity).
Quality coffee in a relaxing environment. Their downtown location is great for people watching.
Great cold brew coffee stop when walking from Downtown north on Phillips to the falls park
Definitely a great coffee spot. Perfect dirty chai latte. Quick friendly service!
Casual and fun. Very relaxing environment. It was a great compromise that masks are required unless you are at your table. As someone who doesnt tend to wear a mask in public, I could really appreciate their policy. It made sense and I definitely respect that.
Cafe miel was recommended by a friend. Loved it and loved all of the gluten free pastries that we tried.
Came in for the first time as an out-of-towner and asked for a coffee recommendation. The lumberjack from their winter series was suggested. Maple flavored coffee latte i believe. It was fantastic.
This is the second location I have had meetings at this week. It is just as impressive as the first (across town).I love our downtown area and local small businesses like this is exactly what makes it great!Stop in for a great cup of coffee, a clean and quiet place to gather your thoughts or a quick meeting.Employees are friendly and diverse, prices are reasonable and the products are second to none.
Love everything here. Get a hazelnut latte, it is to die for - even decafinated.
A cool little spot to grab a unique coffee or tea. Very hip and modern vibe inside. Baristas are always helpful and friendly.
Friendly people and good coffee
Delicious! Friendly staff, quick service, cute vibe. Will be back!
I’m a traveler, always passing through and never staying long but after multiple Sioux Falls stays throughout the years: this is the best coffee in town. The Source is inconsistent, la Luna is just bad, and the rest are just ice cream/candy stores. This one is the real deal
Hands down best coffee in town. The baristas are super friendly, the drinks are amazing and the atmosphere is bright and cozy.
$5.16 for a small flavored coffee 😬😬
First time here today- Let’s not sugarcoat this-Inside: Coffea Roasterie : Clean, a good amount of seating, hardwood floors and just an overall relaxing environment.Staff: Chill, friendly and informative.Coffee: FRIGGEN AMAZING- I’m not an everyday coffee-head who’s arm starts itching when I haven’t gotten my fix but, I do enjoy coffee often and know what good coffee is-I got the Baristas Choice (Hazelnut with a touch of chocolate) - the taste was friggen fandamntastic! I tried my wife’s iced Baristas Choice (White Mocha w/a bit of almond) and hers tasted as fandamntastic as wellWhat you should expect- GREAT SERVICE, CLEAN SEATING AREA, SOME COOL ART ON THE WALL THAT YOU CAN PURCHASE AND LAST BUT NOT LEAST—- AMAZING COFFEE THAT DOESNT TAST ALL starBUCKED UP!!To not rate this place 5 stars probably means you are finicky and you might need a spanking!!
Great coffee in downtown Sioux Falls. Service has been meh... but nothing catastrophic... just disinterest.
Great service and baristas! Amazing gluten free pastries and goodies.
First off, the coffee here is excellent. They really put a lot of effort into their craft and it shows. Drinks are very presentable when served to you, and the first taste is always pleasant. The staff is friendly and well trained to provide great service. Theyre also easy talk to which is great for a people-person like myself
I love Coffea! The coffee is incredible. Its impossible to pick a favorite! The staff are helpful and friendly. Ive appreciated being able to order online and pickup while keeping distance during COVID-19.
Coffea always delivers! The Lumberjack Latte with the Almond Coffee Cake is amazing
Friendly service, clean beautiful space and great espresso. Thanks!
This place was so cute and had high quality coffee. I had an iced latte with oat milk and it was perfect; I also had the best cinnamon roll! The cafe was very spacious, clean and staff was wearing masks so it felt very safe in this COVID-19 world. Will definiley stop again if I’m ever in Sioux Falls again.
Cute and quiet coffee bar with good vibes! I got the regular drip coffee and it was very nice. They have tasty looking pastries as well, although I did not try one. It’s a good place to stop in if you want a quiet place to work.
Their coffee is sooooooo good. Be sure and try the lavender latte during the spring and summer. Its a little spendy, but you pay for quality.
Simply amazing. Staff is the best, not only friendly but also knowledgeable. You can tell that they really enjoy coffee and strive to share that with you. Its great to see that they care about the quality and taste of each drink rather than how many they can make in a certain period of time (that being said, it can still be a fast experience for you if thats what youre looking for). If you enjoy coffee/espresso please dont pass this up, just stop in, you wont regret it!
Came here on a short trip to Sioux Falls. I’ve been to many cafes and roasters, and Coffea definitely didn’t disappoint. They have lots of options for pour overs and lattes, and the barista gave good recommendations. Definitely the best shop in town if you are picky about your coffee and enjoy high quality beans.
Coffees great, they change out the art work every once and while and its just a good local business to support!
Really good coffee. Check out the dessert counter for fresh baked goodies including cakes and muffins. only complaint are the potatoes were made from frozen. Very unintentionally retro without a wink or a nod. Older crowd. In a larger city the same food would be served by some tattooed, ear pierced waiter and thered be a line out the door and prices would be higher.
Delicious teas and lovely atmosphere! Perfect place to sit and work, read a book, or just chat with friends.
I personally dont need a coffee shop to teach me about politics and to push their own views/virtue signal. I go for coffee. I get enough of politics on my own. I would forgive this a little bit except the coffee was not very good. I got an americano and it tasted like dirty water. Maybe I just dont like their beans.
I enjoyed my vanilla latte, however the cold brew coffee is bitter and has a poor taste. The music was very loud and unsettling-lots of hard metal and screamo music...not usually what one wants to listen to when relaxing and/or working at a coffee shop.
Taste coffee right in the heart of downtown. I would say this place is a DTSF staple for sure. Not only is the coffee great, but the atmosphere with comfy seating and art work is great. I have had lots of meetings here. Go find out for yourself.
Fantastic coffee in a beautiful space with very friendly staff! The home made granola bars are the perfect compliment to the delicious coffee and tea!
One of the best cups of coffee Ive had outside of NYC. My group and popped in on our way to visit the Falls. Lovely servers and fantastic espresso. If youre in Sioux Falls and like coffee, this is the place to go.
One of my favorite local chains in Sioux Falls to get my coffee. They roast and prepare the beans expertly and I never fail to get a great creamy cup that Ive yet felt the need to load with sugar and cream.Their espresso shots are amazing as well, dont short yourself on just ordering their drip, ask for a shot on the side!Staff is warm and inviting, ready to offer suggestions, know the grounds and happy to talk shop. Stop in, grab a cup and relax on their patio in the very nice downtown Sioux Falls.
Their coffee is good, but the usually only have one roast to choose from. Their specialty drinks have a good variety, so youll be able to find your espresso, latte, etc.The atmosphere is friendly and cozy. They have a bar to sit at, and they serve assorted canned/bottled beers. Dogs are welcome; as long as they are friendly and well-behaved.Most importantly, they have plenty of outlets. Perfect for working on your laptop or charging your phone; wherever you want to sit.
Coffea is the best in town, hands down!
Literally the BEST caramel latte I have ever tasted! Why you ask? They make their own syrups. Of course they do! With real caramel you can taste the difference. Thank you for raising the bar Coffea!
I love coming to Coffea! The staff is always friendly and the coffee is always fresh. The chocolate and peanut butter cookies are moist and delicious. I cant wait until fall when they bring out their pumpkin spice cake! Goes great with hot chocolate! This is my favorite place downtown!
I love the atmosphere of Coffea. Always a welcoming staff and delicious espresso! One of my favorite spots to sit and study or catch up on work.
Adorable staff. Delicious espresso. Great coffee. Very elegant service. Relaxing environment.
Really enjoy the vibe of this shop and the quality of the espresso drinks. Ive had a cortado that was great. Staff is helpful and outgoing, too.
I really enjoyed my afternoon here. Stopped by after a meeting and it was a perfect way to end my Afternoon. Wish they had a few more outlets, by all the seating, but I ended up finding one on the other side. Iced latte was perfect. 👌🏼
I was visiting in Sioux Falls however I am not from there. The atmosphere was typical coffee shop atmosphere. It was a very nice place and the coffee was delicious . The only negative thing was they needed your email to complete the transaction. And I had to unsubscribe once I got home as I got about an email a day from them.
Best chain in town. You can find a couple other places in town that are on par with them or possibly better. But the prices are reasonable. Ingredients are fresh and quality. And both locations are pretty accessible
A very familiar feeling place with great friendly service, and a peaceful ambience. They serve alcohol along with coffee and tea, great selections! Definitely a must stop, skip Starbucks this time around and come down here instead!!
Very nice coffee shop.
Great atmosphere and the baristas know their art better than any place in the downtown area. The roasts are great and they know their art of lattes and cappuccinos better then all establishments in the downtown area.
This is my favorite coffee shop in town. They are the best beans in my opinion. The staff are very helpful and friendly!!
A really classy and adorable coffee store. I had a caramel latte and it was outstanding. 100% recommend
Truly the best coffee cafe I have ever visited. I try to stop by on a regular basis. Fridays they often have a free espresso promotion (I usually get a slice of pumpkin bread or muffin, a coffee to go and my espresso to stay)Friendly staff and a relaxed tranquil yet chic atmosphere.
Smaller than their other location but very cozy and a great place to grab something on the go or for a quick meeting. Awesome staff who actually enjoy their job! Thanks!
Coffee is great, the tea I would only call okay, Coffea is a really cool company, I love their locations. However, I would always recommend the one on Louise first, the staff is way friendlier over there, the baristas at the downtown location are kind of, well, snobby. They are just ridiculously aloof, to the point of it feeling like Im ordering from a brick wall. If youre going downtown for coffee, go to The Source, way nicer staff and they have a much richer espresso.
I always love coming here. Such a nice vibe. It is busy and smaller quarters than the Louise location so it can get loud, but I dont mind that at all. This is my go to coffee place when I need to get out and chill somewhere .
Whenever I travel to Sioux Falls for work, I always make sure I stop here for a cup of coffee. They make a great cup of drip brewed coffee (or a pour over), or if you want something fancier their traditional macchiato is great as well. Definitely recommend.
The downtown cousin of the main location on Louise Ave. The drinks are the same. The service is great and the seating is cozy. There is a sidewalk patio great for people watching, and if the weather turns cold, the people watchers have two large window nooks for seating.A great place to visit in downtown Sioux Falls.
Best beans in Sioux Falls - by far. They are never over roasted. They are dense, aromatic (not charred), and very flavorful. Modern roaster and roasting methods.
Excellent coffee. Also, a nice selection of wine, beer, and snacks!
Nice location and ambience. Coffee is roasted really green. I prefer a medium roast, so cant say a whole lot of positive about the coffee. A lot of my friends like the roast though.
Best coffee Ive ever had, they take pride in their coffee, pastries are also good.
Fresh made French almond cake and coffee. I dont know how else to start a perfect morning.
Very good coffee in a well lighted spot. A great place to spend time as well
Always helpful and happy staff. Coffee is high quality and done right!
Great ambiance, rustic wooden decor with indie music and sunlight streaming through the almost-floor-the-ceiling windows out front....beautiful. Great people-watching during the summer, with an outdoor seating area next to the street. Excellent coffee too, I recommend the cappuccino and espresso macchiato :)
I would definitely recommend if you want a good cup of coffee. I had tried a masala latte on a chilly windy day and it was absolutely wonderful. The spice and flavors came through so well that I was surprised but highly impressed. Then again, all of the drinks Ive had at coffea have been prepared well. Its the typical coffee shop in the sense that its not a kid friendly atmosphere (although you can order childrens drinks at cooler temperatures). If you go here to sit down, its more so for light conversation or studying.
Amazing coffee! The people were also very polite and knew what they were talking about. This place knows how to do coffee.
Try the Baristas Choice if you cant make up your mind - someone else gets to for you! All the beverages are great, so you cant really go wrong.Pastry or food options is somewhat lacking.
