The staff was very helpful in helping us find gifts for the family. They actually took the time to explain and answer our questions about different items across the store. The cleanliness and attention to detail did not go unnoticed. This was my first time coming into a Ulta location so I was surprised to see things for men. Im sure my coworkers will come back. Two thumbs up.

Great customer service. You tell them what you need or what your after & they know exactly where to take you. Instead of ordering my makeup & paying all that shipping for it, they have it. They have all the brands you want & then some.They have a store rewards program for free. You buy & earn, eventually free stuff coming your way. All worth the $ instead of paying for shipping. Coupons through email when signing up for rewards program. Amazing place & amazing staff

Complete joke of an establishment. Employees were not only disrespectful to me but also to their fellow co workers. I realize I’m not their normal clientele, however I expect to be treated kindly while shopping in their store for a family member. The only person that was helpful was Lisa. However I will not recommend this store to other and will not be coming back. I hope I am much treated better at the east side location when I go there for what I need.

No one to help find anything. Tried to overcharge me. Explained the posted price, was told the price was as shown in register. Explained again and she went to check the shelf and confirmed I was correct, and then apologized. I appreciated her apology.

Helpful staff! I cant remember the associates name that helped me but I was looking for a specific perfume that was not available in the store. She was really knowledgeable about the product and convinced me to give it a try - I ended buying online. I LOVE the scent and appreciate her help!

I wouldnt even give Ulta one star except had to so I could leave a review. I knew better then to even go but because I havent shopped there in over a year they sent me a 10.00 credit to use.The service is absolutely horrible. A friend of mine bought a line of lashes and had them glued on there about a week ago. I took my mom there because she has terminal cancer and has lost her lashes due to Chemo. We did not have an appointment but the girl at the bar said she could do today at 6pm. We went picked out eyelashes that the girl refferd us to. I went back to talk to her and she was working on someone else. A lady with shoulder length gray hair and glasses says to me that we do not do that service here right next to the girl that told us previously that she would. I said I have a friend that just had them done and she repeated we do not do that service here in a very snotty tone. I said the girl over there said she would at 6pm. The lady took me to check her schedule and said her schedule is full so no cant do them. I told her about my moms illness and that we were told she could do them at 6pm. No we cant. Complete bxtch and in the wrong profession.As a Senior Manager in customer service no one in this store could care less we were there and did absolutely nothing to rectify the situation. I will be talking with Management of this store and reporting it. Needless to say, we bought nothing and went to Sephora!Sephora went above and beyond expectations! Blown away and we had the best experience and created a forever memory ❤I will never shop at another Ulta again.

Discontinued my product, AGAIN. So I was bummed but asked for recommendations. Girl gave two that I said I’d tried and just wasn’t a fan of then she walked off. Most hairsprays smell like absolute death, so I was spritzing my wrist and smelling it (the ones ALREADY OPEN, no caps on them). She comes back and exclaims “are you spraying the hairsprays?! You can’t do that!” .... ok then, sorry. But they’re literally already open. With. No. Caps. You aren’t selling them like that. So why not?Long story short there’s no point in wasting my money here when they can’t seem to carry good products for more than a year before discontinuing and their staff are rude as all get out.

Would’ve given them 1 star but I do love their products. The credit card I signed up for on the other hand has been a huge headache.I wanted the discounts so I signed up, led to believe I could pay it off right away in the store, and they don’t allow it.I never received a credit card in the mail and went into the store to ask about it, called the 800 number and asked about it to 2 different representatives now, and I have yet to actually receive a card.At this point I’m being mailed bills and no actual credit card to pay off the bill online. I’m frustrated and will be canceling the card as soon as I can find a way to pay off the balance without an extra $9.00 fee... Because if you don’t have a credit card there is a $9.00 fee to pay through a representative that won’t just give you the card number to the card that was never mailed to you.

Oh no this store is too dangerous! I have been to a few Ulta stores in other states and wasn’t impressed - they felt very dated. I don’t know if the whole company has upped their game or if it’s just this location, but I’m a fan. This one has every cool brand I’ve heard of and bought online and then some! I was looking for Eva NYC and found it, along with Drybar, Benefit, Lime Crime, and even K-beauty brands like Too Cool For School. I can’t even remember them all! I discovered Clarisma and I’m already in love with the moisturizer. Shout out to Casey at the register for 10/10 customer service!

Grace at the brow bar was great! She was not only super knowledgeable and good at doing brows, she also has a great personality.

I want to start by saying I love going here. However, I get emails all the time on my phone saying they have 30% off store wide or 5$ off $10 in store and online, as well as other offers. Almost every time I go in, I either can’t use the 20% off coupons I got sent to my house or i can’t use the coupons they offer online and in store. I bring it up to the employees here and they never give me the coupons. This upsets me because I do loving going here but they’re false advertising sales and coupons. I gave it 3 stars because I do enjoy going here but it’s bad to false advertise for any company and it shouldn’t go without being brought up to their attention.

If you use makeup, they have any kind of makeup you can think of! I found what I was looking for. I couldnt find those sponges anywhere else and I looked several places! Everything is easy to find and the clerks are most helpful. They give you points for the dollars you spend and you get rewards after so many points if you sign up for their club. Its free to sign up.

Lots of great products. Sometimes hard to find help and sometimes the line to check out can be slow. I think its probably just hard to find workers so I feel like theyre short-handed most of time. Great customer service as the employees seem knowledgeable.

Ulta is hands down the best place for any and all of your beauty needs. I buy all my makeup, skincare, and haircare here. You accumulate points that can be used for dollars off your purchase rather than for samples of products like Sephora. The staff is helpful and they have excellent sales here all the time.

Nice location and variety, however when booked makeup professional for wedding, the employee was not prepared. Showed picture of what I wanted and did not turn out. I had to make suggestions on type of makeup to create look and applied it myself as well as eye liner. Too much money for the quality of employee. I would not recommend or use this service again.

I only go to Ulta if I absolutely need something. Their point system is amazing. Some staff though, yikes. I asked for help once and the employee acted as if I asked the world of her. I prefer Sephora honestly.

I was so impressed with Ultas salon!! They were able to get me in very quickly and Rachel was amazing. My stepson is getting married Friday and I needed update my highlights. I had gotten balayage highlights previously and so she had a very hard task of making it all blend together and she did a fabulous job! She also helped me with suggestions of a hairstyle for the wedding that would look good with my hair type and color. I really appreciate her taking the time she did to get my hair right!!! I will definitely be back!

Had an absolutely terrible experience with management and a staff member when I tried to return something the day after buying and after losing my receipt. They treated me like a thief and made me feel awful. Absolutely will never come back here or order online from them again and will advise others to do the same.

Was in to get an eye brow wax an made my appointment 2 days before with one person whose been doing them every time, than was told when I walked into my appointment that she no longer works here and we scheduled you with someone else, shouldnt I have received a phone call?.. Than after my eye brows were done and you have to put wax oil on to get the rest of the wax off, she spilled it down my expensive jeans, an all they can do for me is pay me back for dry cleaning my own pants, cant I get a discount at the store or a coupon to use?

Make sure you know what you’re getting and where it’s located because most of the people working here will not help you. If something isn’t on the shelf, they provide no customer service and just blow you off. I used to hold my hometown ulta to a higher standard but not anymore. They will literally walk away from you rather than help. And this is more than one occasion. I’ve come at busier times and slower times. I know we all have things going on, but that’s your job.

3 weeks ago I wore Maybelline Eyeliner, Mascara, & some cheap lip gloss. I had no idea how skin care worked but with age comes blemishes, spots, & bags under the eyes. At 29 years old I was ready to learn about Makeup, skin care, & application of all. I went into Ulta like a lost puppy. I explained that I needed to learn & buy. Explained my sensitive skin & what I was needing. Lydia in brows got my eyebrows waxed. She then took the time to show me how to fill in my brows, what color to use, & the best brand. I then asked her about eyeliner & mascara... She recommended Benefit for both & I bought the whole lot lol. She deserves a raise. Suzie taught me how to apply my makeup. She showed me the different primers, picked out my foundation, picked out my concealer, & showed me how to use all of it. We chose to go with Micellar Water skin care & my goodness... Its AMAZING. I cant thank the ladies at Ulta of Sioux Falls enough. I went in there blind & hoping for nice & patient people... These ladies are kind, patient, & understanding. At my age I should know something about makeup but really, I was clueless.

Ulta is a fun but dangerous place for those that love beauty products. This is the only place in town that carries Butter Londons entire line of products, which is a staple for me. The workers are always helpful.

I asked front desk if there was an opening for brows, she said yes, got the schedule book, then there was all of a sudden an appointment that was not in the book, and no other spots open.Assistant on the floor was amazing! Helped pick Clinique and matched me well! However, she was constantly asked to go to check out to help; so her concentration was repeatedly interrupted.I was in line, the assistant from the floor told the check out lady I was with, to get me a Clinique gift, and that she would go get it if need to. The cashier I was with, gave me a sample face wash, and not from Clinique. Although, maybe I should be more appreciative, but the fact I am in my 40s and do not need a acne solution face wash, I refused the gift.

I don’t think I will ever step foot in this store again due to my unsettling experience. I recently had a baby and finally had the opportunity to take a moment for myself to gather some products to help myself prepare to go back to work. I was unaware of the ‘no cart’ rule in this store? And it isn’t posted anywhere.. As I struggled to get a cart in the store to set my baby in while I shopped otherwise unable to, the manager (male, dark hair roughly in his mid 30’s) stood inside the store and watched me struggle, never offering to help open the door. I finally got through the second set of doors with the cart and he was standing there with his arms crossed and before even greeting me he says “umm we don’t allow carts in the store” and then proceeded to walk away.. I was in shock that he was so rude. If it wasn’t for the kind blonde young gal at the makeup counter who apologize for his rude behavior, I likely would have just walked out before making any purchases.

Expect an interrogation to buy anything. First they demanded my phone number, I assumed to see if I had whatever rewards thing they do. Then they kept demanding more information and ta-da I was signed up for some thing without being asked or given an option. The clerk was like a drill sargent about it too. You really do not need my date of birth, address and email just to sell a couple of cosmetic items. I can buy the same things and have them delivered to my house from Nordstrom. That is exactly what I will do from now on. Dont harass and be rude to your customers and expect them to come back.
