I was getting two paintings reframed, and I was helped by Pawel and Sarah. They could not have been nicer. They were both super great to work with and really professional. Next time I need painting/picture work done, Im definitely coming here!

Always very polite and helpful staff. I didnt use the bathroom the this time, but what I remember from previous times of using the washroom at this location was cold water for washing hands and dirty, hence why I gave it 4 stars. The prices are craft store prices so look for deals and coupons. I recommend downloading the app. The app is very helpful and has coupons.

Inventory usually well stocked. The staff is friendly and helpful and the have a pretty nice clearance section. Parking is ample and store traffice is pretty steady.Stay away from the restrooms of you can, they arent cleaned regularly.

They could have a better selection of plastic models.

Great place my daughter loves arts and crafts and we always find everything with one store trip.

The store is always organized and clean, and the cashiers are always super nice.My only complaints are... that it is nearly impossible to find employees on the floor when you need help. And most of the time there are signs marking discounts for items that are not in the aisles.

Michaels is my main craft supply stop. I can always find fun things for the kids to do and for my crafting habits. I was also able to find items that I needed for photographing the merchandise I have for my jewelry business. The reason I gave four stars is because of the lack of staff. It is hard to find someone when I have a question. Look for coupons before you go shopping!

Fun things to buy for a hobbies. I was looking for more Paper Mate Flair Markers. They had them. I did not buy these. Then I was looking for Spanish Moss to add to the top of my house plant. She is growing over the lip of the flower pot, moss adds moisture on top and hide her roots. The prices were $7.99 to $12.99. In many shades of types and colors. My sister needed color tiny battery operated lights for Christmas tree she found 3 sets and they were on sale. She is happy to get 40% off. Not too crowded. Great day all around.

Super helpful employees, clean organized store, would definitely go back for a wide variety of art supplies. I stopped in here looking for a few specific stencils and this location had everything I needed and my preferred pencils for drawing.

The store is huge! My first visit there, looking for knitting supplies. Found beautiful yarn on sale. Stores was clean and merchandise tidy, something I dont find in all stores these days.

We had some professional photos framed at the Skokie Michaels location and the sales staff was wonderful!! They sat with us and picked out the colors/frames and went back and forth through all our options as I made up my mind. Thank you Ligia for making this a great experience for us!!

My go go for crafts and activity ideas. It’s always a challenge to find a customer service contact when you need help. If you know you way around shopping is a breeze but if not, I recommend curbside pick up.

7/20/21 came in walked around looking for a associate could not find one.went to paint dept pressed the customer assistance button waited for 20+ minutes ended up walking to the front of the store asked for help the workers where like deers in headlights I said I pressed the button no one came then the employee started saying it was the walkie talkie not working the button didnt work buy the time I got back to the isle a worker came from the back to help I said I need sealer for paint crafts she was clueless and didnt know what it was she said Im just in charge of the keys and unlocking it terrible experience

My wife and I are avid crafters who, no matter how prepared we think we are, are always running here for little flourishes to complete whatever project we are working on. #craftlife

They had everything I needed and the cashier was very friendly and accommodating. The only problem I encountered was when I was trying to find someone to help me locate something, there wasnt a soul in site! It took 10 min to find someone to help me!!!!

I went to this Michaels for the first time. Very friendly team and helpful. Found some clearance items for great price and also non clearance! Im so glad I found this sponges and it was only for $1.60. You cant beat that price!

The Custom Framing team was helpful and professional. I dropped of a number of valuable and unable to be replaced autographs and prints. All were handled with the utmost care, and all pieces were returned in pristine condition and expertly framed. Would highly recommend to anyone needing framing services. Will admit I was very nervous dropping off these items, but I would drop off any items now with confidence at least to my local store in Skokie.

They have so much! I enjoyed being able to stack my savings as well.

Hands down, from my experiences anyway, the friendliest, most knowledgeable staff of any Michaels in the Chicago area. It is sometimes frustrating that they dont carry a particular item that I want and have to go to a different store to get it but at the end of the day thats not so much a big deal.

Unfortunately the store doesnt have enough cashiers or staff to take care of the amount of customers. I saw a huge line of people trying to pay, including me with just 2 simple items so I decided to leave the store without my items.😔

We were looking for artificial flowers and containers to take to a cemetery. They had what we were looking for, so we were in and out in a flash and off to craft our memorial.

This is one of my favorite Michaels stores! The employees are nice, considerate, honest, helpful. The managers are very helpful, also - one saw me looking a bit confused and stopped what they were doing to help me find the things I was looking for. They have very good stock of all the items I have needed. I also bought online and picked up in the store - which was such a great experience! I cant say enough good about this location!

I dont come here often so maybe it was an off day for them. Not a single person asked if they could help me. And I needed it. I had to go to the register twice to ask where items were. I asked one employee, in passing and who kept walking away from me, where to locate an item. I could have really used some help with my project. Nobody there seems to be enjoying themselves.

I love this location because I always find what I want and what I need. They have a great array of various types of products and selection. The customer service is good, my only pet peeve is the bathroom need more tending too! I have collected great crafty materials for projects at fantastic prices!

This place is perfect for the creative and artistic mind. There are so many wonderful choices for whatever you might need. The employees are very helpful and will go the extra mile to help you find what you need. They also have great discounts and specials.

Michaels remains a solid choice for crafting and low cost gifts for children you have a slight fondness for. Off brand coloring books. Nonsensical hobby projects. And food containers filled with toxins. But there is an excellent framing team working in the back.

Michaels has many items that are helpful no matter what type of crafts you do. I gave 4 stars because of the comprehensive list of items and good customer service. Not 5 stars because their sewing department is almost nonexistent and thats my craft of choice these days. However if you make jewelry, scrapbook, paint, construct wreaths or other home decor this place is nirvana.
