Family friendly comic shop with a huge kid-appropriate comic section filled with cool and kid friendly comics including age appropriate DC and Marvel and non super hero stuff ! for grown ups mostly new comics and an amazing selection of trade paperbacks! very fair prices on back issues and collectibles. aaawwww yeah!

Great local store you should absolutely go visit. Bright, clean, well stocked with friendly and helpful staff. I brought my 8yo twins in for their first time and they loved it. Also has super hero action figures and some toys. Cant wait to go back!

You can go to a lot of comic book shops and get the same comics but Aw Yeah had a unique sense of community that Ive come to really appreciate. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, and they have great events and guests almost every month. They have some really good deals too, including discounts for subscribers.

Comic book stores are a thing of childhood legend, who did not spend hours at the comic book store as a kid, male or female. I loved coming in here and being transported back in time. Stocked up on a few old favorites too

Stopped here on a whim & am glad I did. Cute little shop with seating area, plenty of comics, & lots of POPs for people who love those. Staff was friendly and although they didnt have what I wanted Ill definitely be back.

I stopped here a few weeks ago when I was in the neighborhood. The store is small but it seems large because theres not much in it. It looks like they have a large selection of Funko Pop figures, but thats only because they have them scattered around the store instead of organized in one area where itd be easier to see everything they have. Their back issue selection has no organization and no protection, so youre unlikely to find what youre looking for and its unlikely to be in good condition if you find something. The guy behind the counter never talked to me even though he saw me waiting outside the store (for 10 minutes past his Ill be back in 15 minutes sign), and I wandered the store for 5-10 minutes. Their selection of newer comics looked fine, so hopefully theyre good at doing pull lists if you live nearby.

I love this place. It is great for comic book lovers and parents of comic book lovers. They have some really cute stuff for kids here. I went in at 1pm today (Friday) and it was just me and the guy behind the counter. He was very polite, helpful and knowledgeable. The only thing that I wish is that it could be a lil bigger, but other than that I love it.

Very helpful and friendly service. They dont have a lot of back issues, so I go to another store for that. They will do subscriptions for your favorite titles.

Really good staff, lots of comics to chose from. It even has a little manga corner. You can buy Pop figures or normal action figures. Not only DC and Marvel comics, not only superhero comics. Great store!

Dropped in once while visiting Skokie. Nice comic shop with some childtens titles that Ive never seen anywhere else (exclusive to the store, maybe?). Love the comic-style outdoor ads you can see here and there in the neighborhood with original characters.

Fantastic comic shop, kid friendly, super helpful staff, non intimidating atmosphere for casual readers (ie my wife doesnt hate shopping there with me... unlike other stores).

Ive shopped in several LCSs in Chicagoland and this place is the best. They have a great location, fun events, and a great welcoming staff. True story. The new location is an improvement on an already great comic book shop!
