Hate to give a lower review to a local game store, but was shocked to see a lot of their stock is set up in front of a huge window, resulting in games and Funkos all ended up with a sun bleached/faded appearance. If Im buying an expensive board game, I dont want it to be bleached by the sun!Store overall seems to specifically cater to CCG players, so if youre into that scene you are probably in good hands!

The staff are welcoming and thoughtful, and the meta is mostly casual, so new players don’t often have to worry about being bullied by “spikes”. The atmosphere is extremely comfortable due to the nice people that often visit. It’s like going over to a friend’s house, except it’s a game store. I overall love them, and I with them well making through Covid-19.Edit: I forgot to mention that they also have a very wide variety of MTG and Pokémon cards. They are also VERY clean.

By far one of the best gaming and hobby stores in the area. The Chicago Clubhouse has a large variety of card and board game products for sale. The store also does an outstanding job when it comes to Magic: the Gathering. The store offers fairly priced tournaments almost every single day in most formats and has some of the most reasonably priced Magic: the Gathering singles. The staff is extremely nice and always makes their first priority making sure their customers have the best experience possible shopping and playing there. The store is also very clean and has a large amount of space for playing card games and board games.

Well managed and maintained Card Game Venue! Even though this is a 30 min drive for us my son and his friends love to come to this place. Very clean and the staff are very pleasant and very helpful! I highly recommend this place!

Two times were enough to convince me this would be a regular spot. The first time was back when Kaladesh was new, and i was hemming and hawing about buying my first pack of magic, and instead of rushing me or growing frustrated as I would’ve expected of a retailer, the owner asked me what I cared most about and helped me get a few booster packs from Eldritch Moon due to my affinity for werewolves and a kaladesh booster since he thought the power of the cards were worth the risk. The second time was recently having not played for a year or two I just started learning about a mode called commander and wanted to see what treasures I can find. And the new owners found out again my preferences and sold me an absolute gem in the form of a pre constructed commander deck featuring Arahbo the kitty commander and steered me away from ultra pro towards the really good dragon sleeves. Again on this visit I was very indecisive but the quality of service is what made me commit to a purchase and am now excitedly finding friends to come with me to attend their events

Allow abusive behavior by participants in their tournaments. One of the reasons I stopped coming here is that the participants who continually act liike bullies are allowed to keep participating in events. If the staff cared about the business theyd kick bullies out.

Website said each player would get a participant pack. No packs handed out to each player, pointed out to the guy running the event and he said they would look into it.
